Visitor Reviews of St Margarets Bay

Emma, Redhill
Date of stay: 29th April 2025
We had a lovely time, though the sofa wasn’t the comfiest we’ve sat on. A deckchair would’ve been perfect for enjoying a cuppa outside, but overall, it was pretty nice! We’d come back again.

Date of stay: 10th April 2025
The caravan was really spacious and perfect for the whole family. We did notice a few small issues, like the shower head needing fixing and some rubbish left in the main bedroom. Still, it was a lovely trip!

Date of stay: 3rd February 2025
We really enjoyed our stay overall! The caravan was comfy, but the only thing that bugged us was the lack of hooks-just one in the whole place. With all the rain, more hanging space would’ve been a huge help. Still, great experience!

Nice overall, but a bigger shop would be better and more security at the entrance.

Date of stay: 27th September 2024
The caravan was pretty straightforward, with everything we needed and it was nice and spacious. The fridge was a bit tiny for such a big place and facing the bushes wasn’t ideal - would’ve preferred a different view. Still, it was clean and comfy!

Despite the persistent rain, the site was fantastic thanks to the friendly, helpful staff everywhere.

We stayed at Tintern caravan recently and honestly, it was pretty great. The size was just right, with a nice open-plan space for the kitchen, dining and living area, which was perfect for the kids to play around. The sofas were really comfy and the bed was, without a doubt, one of the best we've slept in during a caravan trip! The place was spotless, couldn’t fault the cleanliness at all. Sure, the main bedroom lacked some light controls and plug sockets, but it had everything we needed and we had a lovely week overall. Would recommend!

Kussar
Its was mind boggling experience and very refreshing I would highly recommend to anyone who never took a holiday in a long time It was a escape from a daily routine
AUDREY
Disappointed that there were no printed instructions for items in bungalow. Would have liked a living room lamp instead of having the main lights on. Just personal things I would have liked. Didn't use any of the facilities.
Hilary
The bungalow was very nice. There had been a makeover since our last visit, possibly, 6 years ago. The bed was comfortable. The new check in system was very good - no more waiting for the clock to turn 4.00 before being allowed in which was always a very negative start to the holiday.
Debbie
Lovely caravan park. Very clean and tidy. Didn’t use any of the services but the shop appeared to stock the essentials.
Yvonne
The site was great. Clean, accessible & staff were lovely. The chalet was lovely, quiet, overall furnishings were of good standard. Lots of places of interest were in a short distance as were the beaches. I would definitely return in the future.
