Swanage Coastal Park
South West of England Swanage
View Accommodations

Just a mile from Swanage town centre, this peaceful location is an excellent base for exploring the many attractions of Dorset, East Devon and the spectacular Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site famous for fossils and dinosaur footprints! With all the facilities at a neighbouring park available to use, there's plenty here to keep you busy.

Make use of the indoor swimming pool and fully equipped gym, plus there's a bar with evening entertainment and a restaurant and launderette. Both Swanage itself and nearby Bournemouth have good pubs and restaurants - The Corner Restaurant in Swanage specialises in freshly caught fish with a good choice of daily specials.

Parties of up to four will enjoy staying in the Signature 2, a luxury lodge style holiday home with one double bedroom and one twin. There's a bath and separate shower with sauna, and it's beautifully equipped with both a dishwasher and washing machine. It also has a verandah with garden furniture and a private outdoor hot tub.

The Pier Theatre at Bournemouth plays host to music, comedy, magic and dance performances and the O2 Academy is one of the town's oldest entertainment venues. Find out how cider is made at the Mill House Cider Museum in Owermoigne and if you have a fascination for pirates, Smugglers' Hole in Lytchett Minster is great fun to visit.

Due to steep gradients Swanage Coastal Park is not suitable for persons with mobility difficulties.

Date of stay: 17th August 2018
Very clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the shower head which the caretaker came and fixed within an hour of reporting it. We were right opposite the play area. View was spectacular further up the site too. Really want to stay in a caravan with the hot tub next time!

Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
The worst thing was the caravan pad was like a puddle most of the time and the roads towards the top of the hill were not tarmac. We were dragging mud into the Caravan and car everytime we went out.
Samantha, Biddenden
Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
Caravan was well equipped and spotless, perfect size for a family of four.

Holiday was great, caravan was nice and modern. Nice quiet site.
Cleaner must struggle to reach under beds as found some moldy socks in smaller bedroom and had to re clean plates and pans in kitchen as were still dirty.

Date of stay: 4th August 2017
Beautiful location overlooks bay, with friendly staff on site to solve any concerns. Good local beach , just could have done with a little shop to buy a paper as quite a walk down to the high street.
Caravan much nicer than expected for pet owners and a proper cooker and fridge freezer enables good stock of food. Would come again if in the area.
Sandra, Norfolk
Date of stay: 28th July 2017
Caravan immaculate, site immaculate, quiet and friendly. Very relaxing short break.
Kerry, Ripley
Date of stay: 8th July 2017
It was a nice site and on the whole the caravan was great, the cleanliness wasn't as good as it could have been but the hoover didn't work at all. Our beds weren't made up but that was an accident and the gentleman who dealt with it all was very nice.
Emma, Swanley Kent
Date of stay: 7th July 2017
Usually takes me 3 days to unwind but Swanage coastal park is beautiful and relaxed the minute we got there. Cannot recommend enough.
Susan, Falkirk
Date of stay: 30th June 2017
Static was excellent value. Attention to detail in some areas of cleaning ie shower room and toilet in corners and behind taps could be better. That was our only issue.
Lynn, London
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
Very nice van but low on drawer space. The shower needed a mat as the floor was very smooth.
Linda, Rainham Kent
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
We had a weeks sunshine which was fantastic.
Not sure if we would have enjoyed it so much if the weather had been bad

Date of stay: 25th September 2015
Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Cosy and warm.
Julia, Leicester
Date of stay: 25th September 2015
As the park is on a very steep hillside (which is what gives it it's great views), would not recommend for anyone with mobility problems. However, we enjoyed the challenge of getting up the hill everyday on our bikes! The lodge itself is modern with a touch of luxury. With 4 televisions and a hot tub on the decking - with pretty spectacular views. All just 10 minutes walk (down-hill) into Swanage town and beach.

For me this lodge ticks a lot of boxes...
James, Sandhurst,berkshire
Date of stay: 12th September 2015

Siran, Peterborough
Date of stay: 14th August 2015
The signature 2 accommodation was fantastic from start to finish. Nothing more to say than the view was stunning, the hot tub was relaxing, the lodge was a home from home and the staff were very friendly. We did not have much to do with the site staff as we had no complaints what so ever to make. Fantastic holiday.
Sue, Dartford Kent
Date of stay: 10th August 2015
Perfect for us.
Janet, Trowbridge
Date of stay: 8th August 2015
I forgot to tell the staff that the caravan's grill hadn't been cleaned, and a couple of plates were just wiped and not washed, apart from this no problems.
Linda, Luton
Date of stay: 31st July 2015
The caravan was probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in! Plenty of room and everything you could need in a caravan. Lovely patio area to sit out on at night. Very good value for money.
Jonathan
Date of stay: 22nd May 2015
The site is a good one, but not good if you have any walking problems as the site is very steep. But the Vans were spotless.
Swanage is a beautiful area and the town is a great little town.
Richard, Epsom
Date of stay: 23rd March 2015
