Stayed in the woodpecker lodge. could have slept 6 but there were just 4 of us - two couples so loads of space. We liked the fact that the site was quiet and the walk to Elvaston castle was nice.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for a weekend in June and loved the park setting and how peaceful it all was. It looked like quite a lot of the caravans were residential and really well maintained. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed some nice walks in the area but apart from the indoor pool there wasn't much entertainment going on so don't go if youre after somewhere lively.

I stayed at Ty Mawr for 3 nights earlier this year and our children aged 5 and 9 really enjoyed it especially the indoor pool. The weather was a bit rubbish so this was a life saver. The entertainment on a night was a bit hit and miss but the cabaret show on the Saturday night was good. We have booked to go back to Wales next year but are staying at the Barmouth Bay park for a change.

Fantastic park with loads to do. Stayed for 1 week with the family in the summer and we all said we would come back. The pools are great for children and the entertainments staff are first class. We found the lodge quite basic but had loads of room. Would recommend to families as there is plenty to do on the park itself.

a nice long week away with my little family,the entertainment was so good and there were arcades to go in the only downfall was the soft drinks it was not even a can of coke for £1.75 so just went to get our own. the weather was rain,sun,wind,cold but it was very good would go agAIN
