Good place to stay - central.

Lodge comfortable clean, well equipped needs mattress in double bedroom replacing or a topper mattress put on. You could feel the springs . Wonderful views overlooking the countryside. Very quite and peaceful. Well kept site didn't see any staff as long weekend stay.

Gorgeous modern lodge. Everything we needed to self cater. Nice comfortable stay.

We stayed here as we had an event on 30 minutes drive away. The lodge (48) was lovely, and even had an ensuite to the master bedroom that I wasn’t aware of. Extremely peaceful with just the noise of sheep. A lot of privately owned/lived in lodges on the site with a small reception but no other facilities. Carrick Garrison about 5 minutes drive away with everything you would need. The lodge was well equipped, with some nice touches left by the owner. However there was an issue as we had taken food to cook ourselves on the first night. However the one prep knife available was so blunt we ended up using the bread knife to cut our chicken breasts and a dinner knife for the peppers! The only other issue (to us) was the comfort of the double bed mattress. This was particularly soft, to the point you felt as if you were on the divan when you laid on it. The third night I slept most of it on one of the 2 sofas in the lounge. To note, our teenage son said the bed in the twin room was comfortable. I would use this accommodation again, but now I am aware of these things, be more prepared.

Lodge was excellent

Dishwasher was out of action for the duration of our stay, but just meant we had to do a bit of washing up.

Absolutely fantastic stay, gorgeous lodge and had everything you could ask for. Ideally it be nice to have a little shop just for a few items. And the staff aren't always available. But apart from that can't fault the place..

Lovely quiet little place

Lovely lodge and site as this is our 3rd visit. However disappointed as not able to book for next year on hoseasons

Excellent accommodation the only minor comments would be cutlery was very poor quality and there were no small sharp knives. Otherwise could not fault it. Perhaps the best self catering accommodation stayed in in 30 years. Quiet location with lovely field to walk around and no young children nearby making it very peaceful and relaxing.

Loved it. We have stayed in a few lodges like this but this one was by far the best one to date, a real home from home. Great creature comforts, fixtures and fittings made it a really pleasurable stay. Couple that with great scenery, we didn’t want to leave.

The park is in a beautiful position. It is very quiet and has lovely views all around. It’s lovely to be away from everything but at the same time It is located close to shops, restaurants and take always and Richmond is only 3 miles away. The park is very clean and nicely kept with good provision for recycling. Staff were really helpful when needed but didn’t bother us either. Soon after booking I received a text from the park managers providing all the information about our stay and a contact number - I found this very helpful and reassuring.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful and peaceful setting and the lodge was fabulous. Really hope to come back again.
