We booked a stay at the Superior Lodge during the February school holidays in Wales and honestly, it was just what we needed! As a family of four, with two lively kids and tired parents, plus the grandparents, the place had plenty of room for everyone to spread out without feeling cramped. The decor was lovely, super cosy and it had everything we could ask for to keep things stress-free - including a log fire that really made us feel like we were outdoors. The hot tub? Absolutely fantastic. Sitting in the bubbles under the stars was one of those rare moments when everyone just shut up and took it all in - probably the first time in ages! The clubhouse was a real highlight too; the pool was perfect for both the kids and adults, with just the right temperature (no freezing parents!). After a long day of hiking, the steam room and sauna were pure bliss. And we loved being able to watch the pool from the sauna - multitasking at its best! Overall, it was a brilliant family getaway in such a stunning location. We’d definitely come back - maybe without the kids next time, just to really unwind!

Very comfortable and well-maintained

We recently stayed at this lodge and honestly, it was lovely! The place had everything we needed and then some. The sauna and hot tub were definitely highlights, especially after a long day. We didn't get to try the BBQ since the weather was so rainy in December, but we made good use of the other facilities. The coffee machine was a nice touch, just adding to the cosy vibe. Loads of space, even for four people, though we were only two. Glad we booked it!

We just got back from an incredible family break and honestly, it was fantastic! The lodge was spotless and super cosy and we loved relaxing in the hot tub. The leisure facilities were top-notch and kept everyone entertained. Having a laundry for our swimwear was a real bonus too. Honestly, probably the best lodge holiday we've ever had. We stayed at Inari 2 for a week in September with our 11-month-old and our dog. Honestly, it’s one of the best self-catering places we’ve ever been to - super well equipped. The lodges are smartly placed so you’re not overlooked, which was great. The location is stunning, with plenty of walks nearby. The leisure facilities were always spotless and peaceful and we used them every day without sharing with anyone. We’ll definitely come back!

We stayed at Winnipeg Lodge and honestly, it’s just what we needed for a family getaway. The place is really spacious and well-equipped, blending modern comfort with that cosy Canadian lodge vibe. The Wi-Fi was surprisingly good for such a rural spot, which kept the kids happy. The hot tub and log burner made it even better-so relaxing! It’s private, feels luxurious and has that perfect mix of comfort and charm.

The lodge was really charming, but we did notice quite a few cobwebs around, which is understandable given it's in the countryside. Still lovely though!

An amazing place to holiday, the cabins are beautiful, what made it more special were the little things the staff did like had 2 fans on for when we arrived it was the hottest day, ice cubes already in the freezer. Its so peaceful and relaxing. The space between cabins is perfect. Oh and the views are stunning. We spent our 20th Wedding Anniversary there and plan on going again.

Great Lodge, every piece of kitchen equipment you could ever use. Lodges are spotlessly clean and the location is so beautiful. Really peaceful and restful. We love it here - this was our 5/6th visit and won't be our last.

Had lovely time here shame stopping having dogs as would have re booked to go back . Some lodges little close together and near working farm but otherwise lovely and would recommend

Lovely relaxing holiday. Very clean lodge. Great walks & views on Offa's Dyke. Would have been better if the games room and swimming pool were open for longer (as we missed out on using them in the evening after days out). Swimming pool and sauna were great. Really peaceful and luxurious. We stayed in Erie Lodge which was super private, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed using the pool and games hall. Looking forward to using the gym and doing some walks next time. Hot tub superb
