Living area seemed really big big compared to bedrooms that you couldn’t move around in.

The caravan was clean and comfortable with good facilities. It was in a nice part of the park and we had our own parking dpace.

A lovely, quiet location. The facilities were clean and quite modern. The pool was nice, although was quite dark and gloomy (dark beams across the ceiling and the lighting wasn’t great)

Spacious caravan with 2 separate bedrooms.Master bedroom has its own toilet.kitchen was well equipped.

Bed was like sleeping on a bit of polystyrene and the pillows like pancakes

I would never stay there again , the only nice thing about this holiday park was the lovely people that worked in the park shop ,they were very helpful

Lovely modern extremely clean caravan .You would never no it was a dog friendly caravan.

Unfortunately many items were found in a pretty dirty state, for instance the frying pan was still thick with grease, along with numerous kitchen utensils, The waste bin was rather disgusting , which we found upon removal of the bin liner just before we left. I appreciate the cleaners only have a certain amount of time during turnaround but surely a quick scan of kitchen items is on their checklist? we thought it a bit odd that there was no mattress protector on the bed, just a sheet.

Extremely disappointed with our recent stay at Coghurst Hall, Hastings.We checked in on 2nd June and were immediately met with a strong smell of dog urine in our caravan. It was so unpleasant I chose to sit outside or in the bedroom for most of the evening, as reception was closed and there was no way to report the issue at the time.The next day, after we called reception we were told the caravan could be steam cleaned while we were out. When we returned, the smell was still there. Thursday night, we discovered fleas on the sofa. For the rest of the stay, we avoided using the sofa and sat on the bed instead to monitor for more.We also found dirty dishes with food remnants in the cupboard, and only one toilet roll was provided for a five-night stay. And no towels.When I raised these concerns, the management responded by questioning the validity of our complaint and sent a non-managerial staff member to our door without notice minutes after I emailed. VERY INTRUSIVE! There was no professional follow-up or resolution, despite several attempts on my part to deal with the matter privately and reasonably.After being given every opportunity to address this appropriately, the park has failed to take responsibility or offer any resolution. I am sharing this publicly so others are aware of our experience.I cannot recommend this park based on the condition of the accommodation and the poor handling of our complaint.

We loved the adventure of finding the place, even if the signs weren’t great. Overall, it was a really enjoyable trip - definitely worth the effort to get there!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. The place is super well-kept and has everything you could need. Lots of great walks right outside and the farm animals were such a treat-especially Penelope the pig! The host was friendly and quick to respond. Perfect getaway for us and the dogs. Definitely coming back, great value!

The park itself was lovely and the food really hit the spot. However, the caravan wasn’t as clean as expected, especially since they claimed it was deep cleaned. The kitchen light was also out, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, decent stay but could have been better on the cleaning front!

We had a fantastic weekend here! Everything we hoped for and more. The garden was perfect for the pups, who couldn’t get enough of it, especially with the underfloor heating keeping them cosy. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-must have been all the fun! We’re already planning to come back again. Love it!

We had a really lovely time staying here! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place was super clean, cosy and perfect for Archie - he was safe and happy. The location was spot on, with lots of lovely walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are charming to explore. Honestly, we left feeling totally recharged and relaxed, it was just what we needed!

We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob, Sharon and Bonnie really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The building itself is beautifully done up, respecting its history but with all the modern comforts you need. The location’s perfect for exploring Essex-definitely take the time to stroll around Thaxted and nearby villages to soak up the charm and history. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Coghurst Hall. It brought back childhood memories since I spent many weekends and holidays there. The friendly stall that checked on us at the caravan was a nice touch too.

We had such a great stay! The owners were super friendly and helpful, especially when the storm knocked out the power. The place was spotless and cosy and our dog loved the secure garden. The hot tub was a bonus!

Beautiful setting a lot of vans But all nicely done. Staff were really nice only problem was the pool which was not open a couple of times because the boiler was not working. Overall I would recommend.

Amazing just the caravan bed is very bad. Not comfortable. The springs mattress is horrible. The rest is amazing. Have one near miss on the caravan stairs.

Absolutely fantastic holiday, took my three kids. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Lifeguards in swimming pool were fantastic with the kids. Bar was lovely and relaxing, and little shop too was great for basics like milk, etc.

A big park with caravans close together, everywhere is clean & tidy. It's a bit off the beaten track though. Very small shop for size of camp, i would return again at some point.
