We mostly just used the caravan as a base, so didn’t really take advantage of the park’s facilities. The place was pretty clean and tidy, which was good. The bedrooms were a bit cramped, but manageable with a bit of effort. A few small issues though - the rubber seal on the shower door was loose, so water kept leaking onto the floor and the shower fan wasn’t working, which meant condensation built up quite a bit. We also noticed there were no toilet brushes available, which was a bit odd. Some of the window handles didn’t lock properly either, which isn’t ideal. The biggest problem was that the heating didn’t work no matter what we tried and the control panel in the lounge made some worrying noises. When we were packing up, we found that the pillows in one of the smaller bedrooms had been soaked where they touched the wall. We didn’t get a chance to raise these issues at the park as we had to leave early due to family reasons, but I’ll be sending a survey back with our feedback.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely wooded park. The location is stunning, especially with the lake nearby - perfect for fishing or just relaxing by the water. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed, plus parking and a small enclosed garden for our collie to explore. The only hiccup was the bed being a bit too soft for our liking, so sleep wasn’t perfect. Still, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back!

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the Caravan Gold Plus. The photos looked lovely, promising a peaceful lakeside stay, but in reality, it was all residential around the lake. We ended up second row back, with zero view, which was a bit of a letdown. The lack of decking was annoying too-if we wanted to sit outside, we had to head over to the clubhouse, but dogs aren’t allowed inside. The outdoor decking was mainly for smokers, so we ended up sitting behind the facilities. Not what we expected at all!

The park was quite nice and the food was lovely, but honestly, the caravan wasn’t cleaned properly despite claims of a deep clean. The kitchen light was also out, which was a pain.

Overall, our stay was pretty good. The caravan was tidy and comfy, just a few minor hiccups but nothing too serious. Would stay again!

We loved the adventure of being out in the wild, but finding the place was a bit tricky with the poor signage. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience for us.

The place is really lovely, but the owner taking their five noisy dogs out at dawn was pretty disruptive. Still, worth a visit!

We had a great time at Coghurst Hall! It brought back memories from my childhood weekends and holidays. The staff checking on our caravan was a lovely touch, really made us feel looked after. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great 4-day break! The site was peaceful and super pretty, perfect for relaxing. The little disco was a nice touch - not loud or rowdy, so we slept soundly. There’s so much to see nearby, we barely scratched the surface. Can’t wait to come back and explore more!

We loved the caravan, it was almost br and new and really comfortable. The separate bathroom and toilet made a big difference and the large shower was a real treat! We did notice some wood shavings in the wardrobes, which was a bit unexpected but easily sorted. It would’ve been handy to know to bring oven gloves and maybe a bigger saucepan for cooking for eight. All in all, it totally made our holiday!

The views are stunning and having outside decking with a table is such a bonus. The only thing is, the clubhouse feels a bit cramped with limited tables. Still, we loved it!

It's surprising there aren't more takeaway spots like fish and chips around.

We felt at home right away in this accommodation! We were a bit worried about the lack of central heating, but the gas fire had the place cosy in a minute. We would have liked to see a larger TV and a more substantial set of steps to enter the door, but that didn’t spoil a thing.

The caravan was just perfect! It had everything we needed and was super clean too. The location was absolutely stunning, right by the beach. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely come back again. Amazing experience all round! Honestly, we couldn't have asked for more.

What a great spot! It has a lovely swimming pool and a bar that shows all the sports on telly, plus the food is well-priced too. The lake is perfect if you like fishing. We will definitely head back there sometime in the future!

Good holiday, would definitely do it again but at a bigger park with more facilities. There wasn't really any adult entertainment the week we were there.

The caravan was super clean and modern. The beds were comfy and definitely better than a lot of caravans we've stayed in!

We stayed in Gold Plus Valley 77and if you can get this caravan, do it! It’s spacious and exceptionally clean. The beautiful veranda was perfect for sitting out in the evenings, overlooking the lake. The only thing we noticed was that the staff tended to sit on their green tops eating lunch, which was a bit odd. They also put boxes in the open top bin, so just a suggestion—maybe have a seagull-proof bin? A few times, my 12-year-old daughter had to pick up boxes that the seagulls had pulled out, as she was worried the ducks and ducklings would try to eat them. Just a thought, not a complaint!

We had a brilliant time at this caravan park! It’s so quiet and the atmosphere is really friendly. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

The caravan was great and very clean when we arrived! We do think there should be more amenities on site, like a cash machine and a broader selection in the shop. Also, the shop closes way too early!!!

Lovely setting, comfortable stay, helpful staff.
Shirley
Beautiful setting a lot of vans But all nicely done. Staff were really nice only problem was the pool which was not open a couple of times because the boiler was not working. Overall I would recommend.
Nilvan
Amazing just the caravan bed is very bad. Not comfortable. The springs mattress is horrible. The rest is amazing. Have one near miss on the caravan stairs.

Absolutely fantastic holiday, took my three kids. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Lifeguards in swimming pool were fantastic with the kids. Bar was lovely and relaxing, and little shop too was great for basics like milk, etc.
Peter
A big park with caravans close together, everywhere is clean & tidy. It's a bit off the beaten track though. Very small shop for size of camp, i would return again at some point.
