Spacious and spotless, really nice!

Nice little lodge, perfect for us and our dog. Everything we needed was there, cosy, clean and really comfortable. Lovely stay!

The place was pretty but honestly, the hygiene left a lot to be desired. Dog hair everywhere and a strong smell. No smart TV either. Lovely area, though.

We had such a lovely time here! The lodge was spotless and really well stocked, especially the hot tub - it was perfect to unwind after a day out. The staff were genuinely friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble, which made our stay even better. The games room kept us all entertained for hours and it’s super dog-friendly too. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked for New Year!

Overall, we had a good stay. The double bed’s base was a bit torn and there were some carpet stains near the sofa, but they didn’t really bother us. The dining table was quite sticky, probably from previous guests using the wrong cleaner. An extra baking tray would’ve been handy, but honestly, these were minor issues. We’d come back!

We had a fantastic weekend! Eileen truly went out of her way to find the perfect lodge for our disabled son, which meant a lot. The staff were all really helpful and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Loved it!

The place was perfect for our pets, loved the big kitchen-really spacious, even more than ours! The fridge was a good size too. Only downside? The sofa was a bit too high backed for comfort.

Honestly, the place looked lovely in the photos and the hot tub was definitely a highlight, but there were quite a few issues. Inside, some light fittings were hanging loose and the drawer coverings in the bedrooms were coming off, which wasn’t great. The shower wouldn’t drain properly and we had wasps buzzing around everywhere, which was a bit of a nightmare. The oven didn’t seem to cook well and we couldn’t get the heating on, so it was pretty chilly at night. Also, check-out felt a bit rushed with staff coming in to speed things up. The site itself was quite quiet, with not much happening and lots of empty plots, so it wasn’t really entertaining for my son. While it’s a good spot for exploring, we wouldn’t stay again given the price and how outdated and broken some things felt.
