Nice place kids had fun

This caravan was well stocked and nicely outfitted. Very comfy. This caravan even had a dishwasher and washing machine. What a great surprise. We were even left some dishwashing tablets. Nice touch Only negative sofa cushions stained and could use a good clean. Otherwise almost perfect. We probably be back

It's our second time here purely because the surrounding area is beautiful and the little town in Shere is nice. It's shame that the lodges just are not well look after. Despite staying in a new model lodge, on close inspection their was wear and tear everywhere. It didn't effect out holiday apart from the broken windows with gaps in them even when locked that let atleast 2 wasps in everyday which terriefied my young person. Mis-matched worn leather chairs, head boards and few broken blind cords, broken dresser draws and there was even a hole in the floor with an obvious creak in the floorboard that really needs looking at as it was unmissable when you walked over it. The kitchen was well equiped, we didn't use any of the other facilities as from a previous trip we know the pool changing area is a little tired too and just didn't feel like dealing with that. However, clean bedding was provided, wifi was good, a nice little welcome pack of teas and dish washing tablets was given. Just wished there was less obvious wear and tear. I still love the park but guess thats why buying your own might be worth while lol.

We enjoyed our stay and the site is lovely. The only negative is the noise on the roof if it’s windy or raining as it had a real impact on all of ours sleep. Apart from that we had a lovely stay.

Just perfect . The swimming pool was lovely our lodge was a great size and very luxurious. Would recommend to others to visit for some quiet time away

Fantastic lodge in a superb location on the site. Close to reception and with a nice outlook. The lodge was spacious, very clean and modern Inside. We would be very happy to rebook.

Lodge was tired looking bedroom furniture tired/ worn and marks all over, 1 bed was very wobbly!!, Main bathroom bath water dirty!, had to run for awhile to clear and hot tap wasn’t hot but rest of lodge had hot water?? Shower screen seal needs changing as green! Oven gloves needed not the rubber grip ones as burned hands!

Very comfortable and cosy. Ideal location and nice and quiet. It had everything we needed.Just needed normal size dessert spoons to eat my breakfast cereal please!

We had a lovely stay in our lodge, warm, cosy and a comfortable sleep. A few little decor issue and lack of kitchen utensils, such as a wooden spoon, but overall a great stay.

Lodge was very modern spacious and beautifully equipped. Super comfy sofas. All looked like the pictures and better. View wasn’t amazing (number1 Laurels) but we didn’t feel overlooked at all as the lodges are well spaced out.

The caravan is very nice and spacious, but like most pet.friendly lodges The carpets could do with a good clean. other than that it was a very nice holiday and will be going back again next year.

Very spacious and well equipped. In a lovely location on the park overlooking fields. Enjoyed watching the rabbit sports day!

Lovely lodge. Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, which is nice so everyone can chat without being left out. Washing machine and dishwasher. Central heating, comes on immediately and it warms up quickly. Large full size fridge freezer, which was really helpful. Every cooking essential you can think of. Beds nice and comfy. The single beds are very narrow though. Nice decking area with seating and fantastic view with cows, horses, rabbits and birds etc.

The accommodation was good for 4, clean and in great condition. May be a squeeze to get 6 in.

The lodge was spacious and clean. Although socks and dirt under the sofa.However some aspects were not considered for a holiday. The hoover was broken and there were lots of things missing from what you'd expect - no wine glasses, no hairdryer, no toaster, very few plates/cutlery rendering having a dishwasher useless. Had these aspects been sorted I would score it much higher.

We had a great holiday at Edgeley park. We found our van to be lovely. We will be back!

13 The Conifers: The walls need freshening with paint, lots of staining and the television in the master bedroom (one of this lodge’s feature attractions as it rises up from the foot of the bed) is broken sadly.

Very peaceful and quiet location, well maintained grounds. The pool is lovely and warm, and spotlessly clean. Our caravan wasn’t clean enough upon arrival but was cleaned immediately after reporting to reception. The welcome pack with tea / coffee etc, washing machine and dishwasher were a pleasant surprise, as these were not detailed in the information when we booked. The caravan was very spacious, warm and well equipped, and we had a lovely festive break. We will be booking to come back again!

The house was clean and comfortable, the service was nice, I recommend it for a family holiday

I am writing to you in regards to our recent stay from 23.12-27.13 in number 46 The Oaks. Upon arrival we were presented with a smell that i can only describe as an incredibly unpleasant mouldy/musky smell. We assumed that this was due to the doors being closed however as the days went on it did not disappear. We had no other option than to ventilate the lodge ourselves and purchase our own cleaning products to clean the lodge to try and reduce the hurrendous smell. Upon unpacking our items and using the lodge on the day we arrived, we came across many unpleasant things and not what we would expect from what we paid. The lodge itself was incredibly dirty and full of cobwebs and looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. Fortunately we had hired 2 lodges and fortunately the other one is where we were able to spend the majority of our time in. Whilst the other lodge that we were able to spend our time in was really pleasant and clean we are really disappointed about the experience of ours. We had to purchase washing tablets to wash the pillow cases and duvet covers due to the smell in bedded onto those also and spent our first day arriving cleaning our lodge. There was visible mould and grime in both bathrooms along with a huge amount of cobwebs throughout the lodge and just an incredibly awful smell throughout. As a result of this we did not spend much time there which was really disappointing to which none of us wanted to spend any time in it. Whilst the park itself was really lovely and the staff were pleasant we are left feeling incredibly disappointed at the experience of our lodge at no 46 The Oaks.

The lodge is as described on the website. More than enough space for 4 people and well equipped. Including a dish washer that came in handy on Christmas day.

Nice lodge, plenty of space, could do with a few more cups and plates and a bigger tv. Would book again

Beautiful caravan on a lovely caravan site, swimming pool, outdoor park and tennis court was great fun. Shop on site is small but has the essentials. Cafe food and drinks were tasty and all staff very friendly!

Lovely quiet location Well spaced accommodation

We had a fantastic time here. Great facilities, quiet park was perfect for my two autistic children. Staff were all friendly and genuine. We will definitely be back.

The holiday Park is very quiet and very well maintained. The pool was perfect, we often had it to ourselves and the tennis court was a bonus. We love this park.

Great place had a nice time with family .

Surrey Hills is a great destination for wonderful walks and nice pubs with good food. We loved the setting of the park which looks well-maintained with lots of large trees and planting. The caravan was indeed comfortable and well-equipped. The staff handled any of our questions in a very friendly and helpful way. We had a lovely time and will be back.
