If you like a quiet and peaceful park with lovely lakes, ponds and wildfowl, fishing and golf, then Florence Springs is for you. We stayed in the dog friendly lodge, it was almost new and in excellent condition, although perhaps some shelving in one half of the double wardrobe would be helpful. Heatherton World of Adventure is next door and great for children.

The best lodge for our family with teens! We loved the pool table, arcade table and the juke box. The cinema room was great too! Everything you need is in the lodge! It's like home from home!

This is our fourth stay and love the lodges on Florence springs, they all very different inside and very modern .We have stayed in the daisy lodge 3 times now, was a little disappointed with the cleanliness, very dusty behind the toilets in the eusuits, also the twin room with the long windows the carpet is thick with dust around the beds , which we didn't see until stripping the beds on the last day , also the top self in the kitchen is thick with grime from dust and cooking, this could easily be cleaned with elbow grease.

Musty smelling aged hand and bath towels really let this accommodation down. All other aspects of the lodge offering was lovely as the lodge is only built last year and so everything was in good condition.

Goldcrest - Entertainment Lodge We arrived at 4pm on checkin day, the young lady was very friendly and handed me our key, map and handy information. We were absolutely blown away by the lodge. Which was super clean and modern.A lovely welcome pack was in the kitchen, which included a bottle of wine, milk, dishwasher tablets and 2 laundry tablets. The 2 showers were powerful with plenty of hot water, we never had an issue with the water going warm/cold.Wifi was great, there was even a usb port in the kitchen, with a usb-c cable.Kitchen had everything you need - except for a pizza cutter ???? Dishwasher, large fridge freezer, oven and microwave. There’s also a washing machine with built in tumble dryer. Hover and broom.Hot tub was checked daily, the pool table was great fun and you could Bluetooth your phone to the jukebox.I pre ordered a food delivery with Asda, that was delivered directly to our lodge between 5-6pm on checkin day.We bought a small bbq and used it on the gravel drivewayWould highly recommend Florence Springs, we’d happily buy a lodge here but we live a 5 hour drive away. Finally - a shout out to Stephen, for his friendly Welsh charm. He’s a credit to Florence Springs - i’ll miss our 8.30am chats!

Beautiful lodge, everything was clean. Could not fault it in any way. We have a 21 month old child and everything was very baby friendly, even the decking was safe for him. Would definitely recommend

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us really warm, which was a lifesaver on that rainy December day. The bath was a real treat and the shower was roomy and powerful. Even with the planes overhead, it didn’t bother us at all - don’t let that put you off. Perfect spot for dogs who dislike fireworks, so peaceful and scenic. Thanks a lot!

We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well equipped and kept us warm, which was much appreciated. The bath was fantastic and the shower was big enough to really enjoy. Even though it's under a flight path, we barely noticed the planes. Ideal for dogs that dislike fireworks, being in the middle of nowhere. Thanks so much!

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Even being on a working farm, it felt peaceful and like a real escape. Would definitely recommend!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is really cosy. The hot tub was definitely a highlight-especially with the hot weather, cooling off in there was pure bliss. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out for walks each day. Being on the flight path near Stansted didn’t bother us at all, in fact, I enjoyed watching the planes come in. Would happily stay again!

Booked a week in the Entertainment 2 lodge - Gold Crest - with beautiful views over the trout lake and golf course. After a long wet drive we were glad to arrive and check straight in, blown away by the lodge quality from the pool table, cinema room, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen area all were stunning that’s without the lovely large decking and hot tub. We had an issue with the WiFi but within minutes we had a very polite chap sort us out. Easter Sunday we spotted our hot tub was very low in water and found a large leak on the cold water flow to the heat pump and rang through to the team straight away. Within minutes we had another polite chap have a look to see what was going on he left us a hose to top the tub up and mentioned they would need to drain down and repair the pipe the following day. First thing they were in sorting the repair out and by 1400 that day we had our hot tub back working again. In fairness I wasn’t a fan of the golf course but we got used to it, the wildlife was lovely to watch and the alpaca’s were a pleasant visit. The play area was nice including the frisbee golf which we tried. We didn’t visit Heatherton afterwards or use the free golf but used the playground a few times. All in all such a nice well kept site, the grass was mowed within an inch of its life all round the lodges, parking was fantastic for each lodge, good to see recycling bins in each lodge, the grounds staff were all lovely instead of being ignored they waved said hi etc. Overall we’ve come home very relaxed we can’t wait to rebook and come back again.

This lodge was absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend coming here all the lodges are brand new and are beautiful inside and out we had staff come each day to check the chlorine levels in the hot tubs and over all was an amazing place to be and we will definitely be back soon Sian & Aaron Stayed in honeysuckle lodge 11/7 - 15/7
Susan
Beautiful lodge in stunning area of Pembrokeshire, near to Tenby and Saundersfoot
Lindsay
Lodge was lovely with superb views, site was peaceful and relaxing.
Andrew
Amazing place very peaceful and tranquil. Lodge was beautiful comfortable everything we could have wished for and more. Can’t wait to go back.
Kenneth
Lovely lodge and the grounds were well kept. Only a couple of things I would suggest some beer glasses would have been nice and a fan. The lodge did get fairly stuffy and a fan just to circulate the air would have been nice apart from that can’t fault it.
Carol
Very good. More casseroles dishes and cooking utensils needed and sharper knives.
Martin
Nice location. High quality lodge impeccably clean. Everything you could possibly need or want
Melissa
Lovely lodges,in a beautiful setting. As the lodges are slightly remote, the site would benefit from having a bar/restaurant on site.
Patricia
Love the site and setting and would recommend the lodge
Steven
Lovely quiet location, plenty to doin area. Conveniently located near adventure parks and short drive to beaches.
Jo
We stayed for 4nights with our two young children. It was boiling hot the day we arrived and we’d brought a paddling pool- the staff on site saw this and kindly brought us a hose to fill it quicker. The hot tub (turned down) doubled as a mini pool too which was fantastic. You are so close to so many fantastic attractions and beaches. Our little boy even caught his first fish on the lake. We visited just before school holidays therefore prices were considerably lower. We’ve stayed in a few uk lodges this year and this was definitely the nicest.
Sam
Absolutely beautiful would highly recommend easily the best lodge we have stayed in.

My family and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay here at Lakeside Lodges. Very modern, open-planned living, clean, tidy with all you could need. Plenty of entertainment virtually on-site with amusements and activities at Heathertons. Well maintained parklands. Great hot-tub which was checked and maintained daily and we observed all hot-tubs drained, cleaned and re-filled during check-out. Very reassuring to know that all aspects of the Lodges are looked after and well maintained. The location was perfect - a 5 minute car journey to the coast. Spectacular views and clear blue/green sea. Many different places to eat with a healthy choice to suit all tastes. Tenby Harbour is lovely for a walk around with plenty of photo opportunities. Perfect lodge, perfect location, perfect holiday.
