Date of stay: 13th October 2024
The lodge was stunning and the hot tub was a real treat. Would love some lights there, though!
Sam, Peterlee
Date of stay: 4th May 2022
The lodge was really lovely, we enjoyed our stay. The only thing missing was a TV in the small double room and we noticed some peeling wallpaper here and there. Besides that, it’s a pretty great spot!

Date of stay: 20th April 2022
We stayed for three nights and honestly, it was a really nice spot. We had a quick message before arriving and they responded super quickly, which was great. The lodge was spacious and comfy, with everything we needed in the kitchen. The kids had a fab time and we’re definitely coming back. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Honestly, we really appreciated the little touches. Towels, toiletries, washing up liquid and most importantly, toilet paper were all provided. It made our stay so much easier!

We found the caravan to be very spacious throughout, with a really comfortable main bedroom that even had its own en-suite. The kitchen and lounge areas were generous too and it all felt well thought out. Definitely would go for something like this again!

We had a really lovely weekend! The lady at check-in was super friendly and took the time to explain everything, which was much appreciated. The lodge was well-equipped, with some nice little touches we didn’t expect. Overall, a great stay - definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

Date of stay: 21st September 2018
We loved how peaceful it was, perfect for relaxing. Just a heads up, you’ll need to bring your own milk and essentials since there’s no sugar, tea, or coffee available. A little welcome pack would make it even better. The staff are lovely, no bother at all.
Emma, Sudbury
Overall, pretty happy with our purchase, but a few things need fixing.
Emma, Newcastle
We had a lovely time relaxing here. The staff were really friendly and easy to approach. Not much for kids, but fishing was great and Skegness was nearby!

We found the caravan to be really spacious throughout, with a decent-sized main bedroom featuring an en-suite toilet. The kitchen and lounge areas were roomy too and the overall space was well thought out. Definitely would pick something similar again!

Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was perfect for relaxing weekend. Quiet spot with lovely lake views.
Emma, Manchester
We had such a lovely time at this place! Staying in the cosy Colsat 1 caravan was perfect, with little touches that made us feel at home. The view of Kingfisher Lake was absolutely stunning every morning and fishing was great - caught perch up to 3lb and carp up to 5lb. If you love sitting by the water, listening to nature and watching sunsets, this spot is perfect. Wish we’d stayed longer!
Jessie, Waltham Cross
Chilled out and enjoyable
Emma, Brampton
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was lovely, though the central heating was quite noisy and a couple of radiators didn’t heat properly. The TV was stuck on radio, but the reception lady fixed it quickly.
James
We loved this cosy little cottage! It’s tucked away in a quiet spot but still close enough to everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight and the underfloor heating kept us warm all weekend. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to return!
Cath
Had a great holiday. The staff were very helpful, everyone was very pleasant and friendly. The lodge was very clean and in a beautiful spot with views of the lake. Fishing was good. Plenty of wildlife, we even saw the Kingfisher....
Colin
best campsite we have stayed in for a long time, restful and peaceful. Virtually noone around when we arrived. Close to local amenities and pubs and central for getting to Lincoln and Skegness etc. We are seriously considering another booking soon even though its a long drive for us
Fay

Rosie
We had an amazing time at Barlings Country park ! We stayed in The Octagon. It was absolutely beautiful ! The pictures really do not do the place justice! We told reception as we left that they should definitely update their photos because it doesn’t show just how beautiful the place is. It is huge! And has everything you need. We had the best time for a relaxing weekend break! The hot tub was amazing and was cleaned every day. The place was just stunning. We had the best stay and will definitely be back in the future !
Jack
Very nice lodge with friendly staff. We found it very good value for money. 15 mins drive to lincoln city centre and 10 mins to a big retail park and pubs. Perfect place for a quiet break away!
Natalie
First time visiting and won’t be the last, plenty of space for the kids to run their energy off, lovely views and great location, staff very friends and would definitely recommend, thank you ?
Martyn
Great location for us to get out and visit family, friends and the east coast. Lodge excellent accommodation, warm and clean - Hot tub lovely and cleaned daily. Even got a free Red Arrows display on a few mornings - as it looked like they where up training from one the nearby bases
Alison
Lodge was very clean. Hot tub was wonderful. We had a great week.
Angelica
Amazing! Would definitely recommend. Could not fault the lodge at all! All the staff were fantastic & extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning again soon.
