Where's Towervans Caravan Park?

Date of stay: 17th September 2018
The September weather was generally kind to us and we had the enjoyable relaxing time that we went for. On our previous 2 excursions to Lincolnshire our accommodation had been almost next to the beach, a situation we would probably look for should we consider another trip again next year.

Date of stay: 25th August 2018
Caravan was clean but with further look was a few dusty areas such as the shelf with the plates bowls etc. Considering the caravan cost almost one months rent I would of expected it to be immaculate but it was just a quick wipe over and was ok again.

Paul
Needing a relaxing break we booked this location mainly because we could take our dog with us as he loves the beach. 10 minute walk to town and beach with lovely walks surrounding. The caravan was nice and had everything we needed. The staff supplied an electric radiator which meant we didn’t have to have the gas fire on all week. My partner doesn’t really like caravan holidays as we had one at Cayton bay a few years ago at the same time of year and the gas fire had been doctored so we couldn’t have it on high. We were freezing all week. So when we arrived quite late on the Friday night to be welcomed by a warm inviting caravan was lovely. The staff had the heater on for our arrival which was a lovely touch. Being a tight Yorkshire lad, only to pay £2.40 a pint of carling in the tavern was also a bonus. Overall a lovely relaxing break that did exactly what it said on the tin. Would definitely return
Claire
Lovely friendly onsite staff. Great base for your holiday. Caravan was fine for our needs. Everything in the caravan was carefully thought of and ready to use. Beach not far and shops easily accessible.
Stuart
as per bad weather and illness we did not stay the full week ,niether of these problems towervans fault. the staff were most helpfull and sorrey we had to leave early. as for the area there is plenty to do regardless of weather.
Ben
having never visited this area before and only having 3days holiday we hoped that it would be worth it. it certainly was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the site and facilities were excellent and the staff were more than helpful and recommended things to do and see that we hadn't even considered.......all of which proved to be great overall a great sucess
Paul
Very relaxing holiday I will visit again
Marcus
Love Towervans, lovely quite well kept site, we have visited many times and will time and time again! Staff are lovely and very helpful.
Janet
very nice site nice and relaxing very friendly staff lovely club house and reasturant very good food will come again next year
ALison
The caravan its self was clean and comfortable, the cooker lighter did not work so we took it to reception and it was replaced within minutes, the location of the site is a 15 ish minute walk to town and a taxi cost us ÂŁ2.50 which is very reasonable. We'd be happy to stay at towervans again.

Fun Days Out near Towervans Caravan Park

about 9 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.

Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.

Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
