We loved the lodge! It was spotless and felt really fresh. The private spot was perfect, especially with the gated decking for the dogs. The welcome pack with treats was a lovely touch.

We recently stayed at Bloom Lodge and honestly, it was fantastic! The place was spotless, super cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The bathroom was huge with a lovely shower and the bedroom was comfy with plenty of wardrobe space. We loved the privacy and the stunning views from the balcony, especially with the hot tub - such a nice touch! The location is perfect, close enough to Skegness and Ingoldmells for days out. We’re already looking forward to coming back to this gem of a spot. Absolutely loved it!

So, we’ve been here before and thought we’d give it another shot, but honestly, this trip didn’t live up to our first visit. First off, we got a heads-up that the bar and restaurant would be closed during our stay because of some work. Not ideal, but we understood - things need fixing sometimes. The day we arrived, we got a call saying the lodge was ready and asking what time we’d be arriving, which was pretty good service, I have to say. When we got there, we picked up our keys and were greeted by housekeeping, who asked if everything was okay. Honestly, how would we know? We hadn’t even had a chance to look around yet! Once inside, we were greeted with a freezing cold lodge - turns out, the central heating wasn’t working and there was no hot water either. Thankfully, that was sorted within a couple of hours. We decided to relax that evening in the hot tub, but there was a bit of a hiccup there. We couldn’t get the sound system to work after trying several times. The next day, we went back to use it again and found it only lukewarm. We put the cover back on and waited, hoping it’d warm up. We tried a few more times over the next few hours, but still no luck. Tried calling reception twice but got no answer, which was a bit frustrating. Eventually, we pressed some buttons on the hot tub and it started warming up - funny how that worked! We shouldn’t have had to do that every time, especially since it worked fine during our first stay. On the bright side, the lodge was spotless and well prepared, which is why we came back in the first place. I did mention all this to reception when we left, hoping it gets sorted for future guests. Still, it’s a shame because we really wanted to enjoy our stay more, especially considering how great it was the first time around. It’s just a shame about the little teething problems this time around.

We had a really lovely stay here. The peaceful surroundings and gorgeous views made it feel like a proper escape. The lodge was super well-equipped, basically like a home from home, although we did think a bigger frying pan would have been handy - the one provided was a bit on the small side. The welcome pack and little touches were a nice touch and we appreciated that it’s dog-friendly - our pup was made to feel just as welcome as we were. There were a couple of minor issues, like a broken glass left in a cupboard, but nothing that really affected our trip. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t ready until the next morning, even though we’d been told it would be available by 8pm, so we missed out on that first evening, which was a shame since we only had a short stay. We’d definitely recommend dining at the on-site restaurant rather than bringing takeaways back - the chef seemed a bit overwhelmed and our food arrived cold, but the reviews for the place are still good overall. Out of season, Skegness’s front is lovely and perfect for exploring with dogs on the beach. Thanks again for a great break - we’d love to come back!

Great place for unwinding, we really enjoyed it here.
Ellie, Hinckley
We booked one of the new lodges for a peaceful escape and it was just what we needed. The place is super quiet, perfect for relaxing and doing nothing much. All the facilities we wanted were in the lodge, which was handy. We also took a short drive to Loch, a lovely town with some nice eateries. Breakfast at The Hide was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
Emily, Ely Cambridgeshire
Really enjoyed it, didn’t want to go!
Oliver, Halesworth Suffolk
We stayed at Blossom 2 and honestly, it was lovely. The private Jacuzzi on the balcony was a real treat after a long day and the kitchen’s dishwasher made life so much easier. The shower in the bathroom was great and the king-size bed was super comfy-had a great sleep! Loved the little touches when we arrived, like the doggy welcome pack and the fizz bottles for us. Just a heads up, the welcome tray only has tea and coffee, so bring extra if you need more. Would definitely return!
Scott
Had a great break, lodge is fantastic, very clean and comfortable. A couple of minor issues, I tend not to drive when I am on holiday and the location was not on a bus route. Also the Hide cafe restaurant served excellent meals but was only open until 6pm on weekdays. Staff were all fantastic, nothing was any trouble for them and any issues resolved quickly
Alison
Fantastic holiday, beautiful park, excellent friendly staff.
Karen
Excellent location greeted with a smile when we arrived check in was so easy. Lovely bar / restaurant over looking the fishing lakes. The caravan owners made us feel very welcome at The Hide which served beautiful food which was very reasonable drinks also not over priced. Just a short distance to some lovely beaches and the resorts of Skegness and Ingoldmells.
Sarah

Fab… loved every minute. Just wished the work around the woodland walk had been finished, but we did know work was ongoing on-site, but we had no disruption. The place is beautiful and peaceful… and perfect if you have a fisherman in the family too. You have to try breakfast at The Hide… what a treat! And the manageress there couldn’t do enough to help.
Louise

Had such a laugh with the staff their too. Only thing i personally thought was missing was a shop, just a small store with bread /milk basic supplies.
Sarah

Absolutely gorgeous lodge, so relaxing and quiet. The staff were amazing and was happy to help with anything all so welcoming. The food at the hide was gorgeous didn't have one bad meal all weekend. The only downside was the nearest shop was quite a drive away, but wasn't a big issue as we drive. 5*+ would definitely recommend if your looking for a quiet relaxing getaway.
