Lovely well equipped lodge, stayed in deben premier. Comfortable beds with lovely bedding. Nice touch getting a text saying what time the lodge will be ready from, ours was 2 hours early. Had a couple of issues with a tap & the door lock, just text and it was all sorted whilst we were out. Only downside was not being able to park outside the lodge to unload. Would certainly return.

Excellent accommodation - very comfortable and clean. Well equipped and the extra fridge was a boon. Hot tub was great to relax in late in the evening once it was a bit cooler outside.Beds very comfy, which is unusual for me. We all slept like logs with no neck or back complaints.

Fantastic lodges and excellent value. We enjoyed 5 days in the Debden Premier lodge as a couple with a small baby. We had everything we needed and the lodge is very private. The nature trail walk is beautiful. Thank you for a great break

I had a lovely few days here with my family, I stayed in lodge number 8, there were a few ants in the main bathroom in day 1 but they soon went. I came with my 3 children of various ages (18, 9, 6) my 6 year old is autistic and I found there was a lot of space for him to run around quite safely, he loved the hot tub as well. The shop onsite is very reasonably priced as well and has your essentials. I would definitely return.

***** five star in all levels! The lodges are fabulous, staff friendly and helpful, on site shop well stocked and reasonably priced. The hot tubs brilliant. Plenty of towels, good quality bedding, enough essentials (tea, coffee, sugar and mire) to see us through the first day. Toiletries a lovely touch. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for a lovely time all round.

We loved staying at Heathside Lodges. The lodge was large and well equipped. It’s a beautiful quiet site, with plenty of space, well maintained grounds, and beautiful country walks. Our bed was very comfortable, and the best part of the lodge was an amazing power shower! The only rub was the hot tub, which only had one jet setting. Despite that it would not put us off visiting again! Thank you.

Had a great time, peaceful. Could do with a lick of paint on the decking and outside furniture , also had ants inside the lodge we stayed at lodge 8. The locals we found not to be very friendly, and crazy drivers at speed on single lane b roads. If your after a peaceful break its ok.

I stayed at Heathside Lodges in Wenhaston, Halesworth with my wife, Son and Daughter in law and granddaughter for four nights. Karen, her husband and staff were vey friendly and we were so happy with our lodge. It was perfect for a family of five and the hot tub was an excellent way to relax. There was enough to keep as occupied and we are already looking to book next year. Thank you

Such a lovely 4 nights spent here with my husband and two sons (7,4). The lodge was perfect for what we needed. It was close by to lots of lovely towns to explore. The hot tub was really enjoyed by us all. The hosts were very good. I had a bad back and they were quick to supply a mattress topper that provided extra comfort. The grounds of the lodges are an added bonus. It has a shop on site, a climbing frame, football goals & table tennis. All of this is hidden behind nature so it doesn’t spoil the lovely views of the land and little marshland. We will be returning.

The cabin was lovely a few cobwebs up high but otherwise very clean. The hot tub was very clean and very enjoyable, I love how they have the bushes around so you get privacy but still feel spacious. No issues with Internet. I found some of the furniture could be updated, everything worked perfectly but could do with updating. I'm tall and found the sofa to be too low. The staff were lovely, when I asked for recommendations on outings, I got asked didn't I Google it. After explaining I like to talk to people and ask the locals the lady was helpful and assisted me with getting some leaflets. Some of the locals recommended driving to Great Yarmouth which is about a 45min drive away for more things to do. It was a lovely and relaxing getaway and I will definitely be returning. The welcome pack was very helpful with local pubs and restaurants. The location is lovely, easy to get to but be prepared to drive 20 mins plus to get to different places. There are a lot of walking trails around the site. The locals In the nearest town were lovely and the Wednesday market is small but had some amazing people and products. I defo recommend Africa Alive!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was spotless and way bigger than the pictures showed, which was a nice surprise. Everything we needed was there and the quality of the towels and bedding was great. The hot tub was a real highlight, but we also loved sitting on the decking in the morning, soaking up the sun in peace and quiet. Brilliant!

Clean and airy. Nice location with lovely views. Short woodland walk also on the site. Shop on site was particularly handy. Friendly staff. Much appreciated privacy with the high laurel hedges especially when using the hot tub. The hot tub was maintained every day and, as someone with slight mobility issues, it was perfect for me being slightly raised from the decking instead of a deck level one. The beds were so comfortable with beautiful Egyptian cotton bed linen and great pillows. Looking forward to going back again

We found the place lovely and bright, with such a peaceful vibe. The location was spot on, offering gorgeous views and a lovely walk through the woods right on the site. The shop was super handy and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We especially appreciated the privacy from the high laurel hedges, perfect for relaxing in the hot tub. It was well maintained daily and being slightly raised made it easier for us. The beds were dreamy, with crisp Egyptian cotton and comfy pillows. Can’t wait to return!

We recently stayed here for four days and honestly, it was just what we needed - so peaceful and quiet, exactly as we wanted. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome from the start. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and super spacious, with everything we could ask for. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a long day. There isn’t much around for walking, aside from a pub about ten minutes up the road, but it’s a bit pricey and not the friendliest place. We didn’t mind though, as we drove to nearby towns and coastal spots, with Aldi and Morrisons about 25 minutes away. Plenty of places to eat that don’t break the bank too. The onsite shop had all the essentials, which was handy. We’d happily return and definitely recommend it if you’re after a chilled, relaxing break.

We stayed here for 4 days and we loved it, was very quite and peaceful which is what we wanted. The staff was very friendly and made you welcome. The on-site shop has all the essentials you need. Not much around for walking distance but we didn't mind that, there was a pub just up the road 10mins walk but it was expensive and not very friendly. You can drive out to several nearby towns or coastal resorts, Aldi, Morrisons, and more are all around 25-min drive. Also lots of places you could eat out at and reasonable prices. The lodge was lovely, everything we needed was there, very spacious and clean, the hot tub was a bonus to relax in at the end of our day. We would definitely come back and would recommend if your looking for a quite relaxing time.

I stayed with 2 adults and 3children aged 16 - 2 years.
The lodge was beautiful, clean and fully equipped. Hot tub was always clean and heated perfectly. Plenty of towels and pillows even a board game to pass the time. We had a BBQ too. The shop was conveniently on site and fully stocked.
All the staff were very helpful and polite.
We had a fantastic time and would definitely book to stay here again.
Paul
Very good location for walks.
There was a large field for children to play on.
Heather
Great location with only a 10 minute walk to the local friendly pub (20 on the way back after a few beers) serving amazing food and lovely staff and locals who made you feel very welcome The lodge itself was lovely inside with everything we needed. The exterior was a bit shabby and could do with a lick of paint. The hot tub was disappointing as on arrival we opened it and there appeared to be some sort of red drink spilt round the edge and some hairs in the tub. This had clearly not been cleaned after the last guests. The lid of the tub was also in poor condition with rips and tears and the handle broken. On the whole was a lovely break just a shame about the hot tub.
Donna
This is our 2nd visit to heathside lodges and it did not disappoint. The site is immaculate we have never been to a site which is so well maintained. All the staff onsite are friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble, the on-site shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. The lodge itself was spotless it had everything you would need with the added bonus of a hot tub which was clean and private. We will be going again

Great location on a rural site ideally situated 10 mins from Southwold and the coast
The site wad very well kept and shrub and tree planting ensured privacy to each plot.
