We had a really lovely time! Sharon and Robert were such warm hosts and made us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed - comfy, spotless and secure for Archie, our dog. The location was spot on, with lots of walks nearby. Thaxted and the surrounding villages are charming, perfect for exploring. Honestly, we left feeling totally recharged and relaxed. Definitely recommend for a peaceful break!

This place is just lovely! The cottage is super well-kept and had everything we needed. We loved the dog walks right from the door - so handy! The host was really friendly and quick to reply, which made everything so easy. Meeting the animals, especially Penelope the pig, was such a treat. We’ll definitely return, great value! Highly recommend.

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and we’re already planning to return. Our dogs were over the moon with the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for them to run around. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-thanks to all the fun! Everyone was really happy. Great spot!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage! It’s tucked away on a working farm but feels surprisingly private, which was perfect for us. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely charming and friendly. The place itself is super spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was so comfy, we slept like logs. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded with nice furniture. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had a really lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely stunning and the location of the hut is just perfect-peaceful and picturesque. The hosts are friendly and helpful if you need anything, but they also respect your privacy, which we appreciated. The hot tub is great once it's heated, although it does take about two hours, but honestly, it’s worth the wait. The hut is well kitted out, though a small radio would’ve been nice. The welcome booklet was super handy and there were lots of personal touches that made us feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night winter escape!

We recently stayed at Goddard's Mead and it was lovely. Rob and Sharon clearly put a lot of effort into restoring this historic place and they’re both so welcoming-plus Bonnie is adorable! The house itself has everything you'd want for a relaxing break. The location is perfect too, nestled in a nice part of Essex. We definitely recommend taking some time to explore Thaxted and the surrounding villages, there's so much charm and history to discover. Definitely a place to visit again!

We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well equipped and cosy, which was just what we needed. The bath was really relaxing and the shower is a good size too. The location is a bit under a flight path, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. Perfect for dogs too, especially if fireworks scare them. Thanks so much!

Had the most beautiful time here with my partner, our baby and our dog. Accommodation is absolutely perfect and they have so many nice touches. I would just make sure to not go again at this time of the year due to the marathon event that was going on. All roads were closed so we couldn’t day trip out anywhere.

We had a fantastic stay here! Beautiful shepherds hut on a beautiful campsite. The hot tub and a sea view was the perfect touch with a nice walk to a cobbled beach close to the site. Can't wait to come back again!

Incredible stay- the location is absolutely stunning, so well maintained and the hut was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Staff were great, totally non intrusive but so helpful when you need them.

Fantastic place to base yourself from to visit Tenby. Peaceful, relaxing and a wonderful setup with everything you need. Will definitely return as soon as we can! Dog and child friendly too!

Idyllic setting with a touch of luxury. The yurts are beautifully decorated and have everything you could to make your stay comfortable. So many wonderful beaches within a short drive of Headland Escape. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we had booked longer. The hot tub was also a great way to end a busy day exploring the area. Would definitely recommend

Bluebell yurt was beautiful, comfortable, clean,well equipped with all that we needed, we had a fantastic holiday there the first experience of a yurt. All white bed linen comfortable mattress. Thank you for complimentary wine and Welsh cakes and milk. We could not have asked for anything better even the weather was with us. Showers and toilets spotless, the best I have been in, kitchen area adequate for what we needed. Buses near by to go into Tenby, crows taxi's were brilliant and walking the coastline was beautiful. A fantastic time celebrating a 50 th birthday, thank you , will be back.

Lovely quiet site, accommodation is well spaced out and you have plenty of room outside your yurt. There was some noise from neighbouring sites however it didn’t cause us any difficulties. Really good location in that it was in a quiet village but not far from amenities. Would recommend

The yurts are awesome. They have most things that you need, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The views are spectacular, and having the space around each Yurt is nice. Thoroughly recommend it.
