Couldn’t ask for more in a lodge

Great place for exploring the area in beautiful surroundings. I would recommend staying here !

Really enjoyed our stay at the woodpecker lodge at Ivy Coombe. Location was quiet and out of the way. Excellent facilities with private hot tub. At night its so remote you can clearly see the stars. The owners are friendly and efficient. We had an issue with the tv that was sorted out very promplty. The lodges have a homely feel with aromatherapy diffuser bluetooth speaker and settee throws. Good location close to the sea.

We booked Pheasant but were allocated Squirrel, which we suspect may have been an error or a slight upgrade. No issue to us. Squirrel lodge was perfect for our stay.

All good apart from some cobwebs. Really loved our stay though!

Great location, facilities and surrounding areas. Owners were really welcoming. Fantastic way to start the new year. Will be booking again.

Absolutely beautiful places to stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Secluded lodges so lovely and quiet and close to beach and shops and many other activities.

Great site, kids loved the hot tub & adventure play ground. Not too far from the centre of Bude. Staff on site are extremely friendly & helpful. Easy check in/ check out. No COVID-19 worries. Lodges are in good shape, we’ll looked after & well kitted our. Everything you need for a great holiday. Each lodge has good privacy also for using the hot tubs. Highly recommended.

We love this part of the country and these lodges are the perfect base for exploring.

Great cabins. Nice and spacious with everything you need and beautifully decorated making you feel very welcome. Looking forward to going back again.

Perfect hot tub break

Our 4th visit - had a great time as usual but stayed in Robin Lodge and not Pheasant. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Loved the chickens and the little black cat who wanders around the lodges. Jools and Russ always helpful.

A lovely park in great surrounding. Secluded (in a good way) and the lodge with the hot tub was excellent. We had such a peaceful and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend if you are planning to stay in the area. We don't have children though and went out of season, so cab't really comment on that side of things, but I did notice a play area and games/books etc for kids.

Great Holiday, great base to explore Cornwall.

This place is a real gem. The surroundings are quite and calm. The facilities are top notch, very clean and comfortable. It’s location is excellent for day trips with loads to do! The one thing I really loved was the library which includes the potential to borrow buckets and spades, body boards and use the washing machines. All really helpful for a break away. Loved it. Will be back! P

Excellent lodge, immaculate throughout, very well equipped for self catering, beds and bedding were lovely. Can’t recommend highly enough. The hot tub was our first priority and again of a very high standard. Extremely good value for money.

Lovely place to stay, would go again. The only little moan I have is the bathroom door wouldn’t shut and twice walked in on another family member.

Cant fault it! Park, location, owners and the lodge itself are amazing! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Our week flew by and ots close to Bude with its lovely beaches and amenities. Easy to get to the park as it's just off the main A39 coming into Bude. Tranquil and peaceful.

What a fabulous holiday we have had in Bude! We were extremely fortunate to have beautiful weather and to have discovered such incredible beaches here, but we were also fortunate enough to have found this gem of a place. The lodge itself was incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a dvd and book library in the reception area. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub perfect for an afternoon of relaxing after a day at the beach. The owners were extremely friendly and made the whole place feel like a home from home. We especially loved meeting the site chickens and resident cat! Thank you for an amazing week!

1st holiday in my life that I've not been ready to go home ... can't wait to return !

Another brilliant holiday

We absolutely loved our holiday here. The property was perfectly clean and the owners had thought of everything in terms of contents, even down to blankets. The location is perfect if you are happy to drive somewhere for walks but you can’t walk directly from the lodge. The owners really gave us a lot of privacy, however when we had some problems with the TV they did not respond. Would definitely visit again!!
