We’ve stayed here twice now and honestly, Rutl and lodge might be one of the older spots, but it’s still really cosy and tidy. It’s got that welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home, even if it’s not the newest place around. We always enjoy our stay!

We recently stayed at the Northumberland Lodge in Kiplin Lodge Park and honestly, we had a great time. The lodge was incredibly spacious, which made all the difference for us. The living area was just right and it was well-stocked with all the essentials-handwash, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, you name it! We also appreciated the little touches like dog biscuits and poo bags for our puppy. But the highlight has to be the stunning surroundings and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. The layout was thoughtfully planned, especially the door from the lodge directly onto the decking by the hot tub-no chilly walks needed! We’d definitely go back.

We had a lovely few days at Kiplin Lodges. The Lancashire was okay, though a bit outdated furniture-wise. The main plus was that it was dog friendly and the hot tub was a real highlight. The others in our family stayed in the Cumbria lodge, which was stunning. We'd come back for sure!

We booked this lodge to ring in the New Year and honestly, it was a lovely stay. The location is quite convenient, with a couple of pubs nearby that serve food and a shop just a short drive away-perfect for grabbing essentials. The lodge itself is really spacious and cosy, especially the living and dining areas, which made hanging out super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, though we did bring our own air fryer since it’d have been a handy addition. The bedrooms are quite nice; the master with en suite has a massive double bed and loads of wardrobe space, which was great. The other two rooms with single beds also had plenty of storage. The family bathroom with a bath was a nice touch and the place stays warm with lots of radiators, which you can adjust to your liking. The hot tub was a real highlight, although a bit of a pain that it only fits four people when the lodge sleeps six. Still, overall, we had a wonderful weekend and would definitely come back!
