Nice caravan , but mattresses not very good , other wise quite comfy

A small, basic caravan. No room for a travel cot if going with young ones and so, a bed has to be removed from one of the other rooms so the travel cot can fit it there but then this leaves no room to move in that room so daughter was limited. Bedroom light didnt work and front door was really difficult to lock - this didn't bother us but I'm sure if we informed reception, it would have been sorted. The caravan is literally right next to the main road outside the holiday park so it is loud - difficult to get to sleep therefore, limited having windows open at night as sounds like a motorway ????Decking outside the caravan with bench and seats - this was really good as it meant could leave the front door open and the baby could safely play as the gate locked. The main path up to the caravan is pitch black at night (when you pass the tents and play park) so take a torch or make sure you have charge on your phone - we didn't know this the first night!Fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, oven, etc. included - a good little kitchen with a little welcome pack including cloth and washing up liquid. Overall, it was okay.

Caravan met our needs. Lovely touch of supplying washing up liquid, scourer, bin bags.

Very good time was had by the full family. outdoor pool was good, indoor pool was a great feature to have. Food was good with great choice. facilities where to a high standard

We stayed here from 17th May and it wasn’t cheap to stay for 7 nights. There was several things wrong with our accommodation,the decking was full of birds poop,and the table,the tap in the kitchen was faulty, the blind was broken in the kitchen,unable to open the kitchen window,the main door was very noisy opening and closing the door and we were situated by all the touring camping spots and this wasn’t very private. On the booking it stated a lodge however when we arrived it actually was a caravan. We definitely won’t be back it was like a buttons holiday camp.

The caravan was spotless and everything was in good working order. Total value for money.

The caravan itself was clean and tidy but was spoilt by traffic noise which was at the back of the caravan and the entrance to the holiday park was very untidy and not what I have found in other Hoseasons parks.

We stayed at this cosy little cottage and honestly, it’s got everything! We didn’t need to bring much at all, as the place is super well equipped. The welcome pack was a nice touch, full of useful info and menus, which made settling in easy. The owners, Sharon and Rob, were quick to reply whenever we had questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just the cherry on top. Thanks for a lovely break - we’ll be back for sure!

The cottage was really charming and perfect for a peaceful escape. The hot tub was a lovely touch, though you do hear planes from Stanstead at night. Still, we loved it!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! The setting is truly peaceful, surrounded by gorgeous farml and - we loved seeing the horses. The owners were really friendly and made us feel welcome, checking we had everything. Perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Absolutely recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! It truly has everything you could need, so we didn't have to pack much at all. The welcome pack was a real bonus, with handy info about the place and local menus. The enclosed garden kept our dogs happy and the hot tub was just perfect after a day out. Sharon and Rob were super responsive and friendly. We appreciated the little extras for us and the pups. Honestly, it was a lovely break - we’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at The Elms and really enjoyed it. The place was lovely and overall, it’s a great spot. Only small thing was the beds-my kids are 15 and 17, so they found them a bit cramped. But apart from that, a really nice stay!

We recently stayed at Goddard's Mead and were really impressed. Rob and Sharon have done a wonderful job converting this historic building with such care. They gave us a warm welcome and Bonnie was lovely too. The place has everything you need for a relaxing break. The location is perfect-right in a lovely part of Essex. We also enjoyed wandering around Thaxted and nearby villages to soak up the history and charm. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy and perfect for Archie, our dog. The location was just right, with plenty of nice walks nearby and visiting Thaxted and other villages was a real treat. Honestly, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed, so it was exactly what we needed. Would definitely come back!

Excellent caravan with all the things you’ll need. Took me a while to find the thermostat though for the heating. Hot tub amazing.

Loved visiting lady's Mile, lots for the kids to do on site, they loved sleeping in the safari tent! The tent had hanging space for the kids clothes but none in our bedroom, that was the only downside. Lots to do and visit near by. Staff lovely and friendly. We had a great week there xx

Very relaxing week away, spotlessly clean caravan upon our arrival, the site is well kept, it's grown massively since I was last there.

Was lovely holiday, staff really friendly just not that professional on arrival as we can late. Didn't seem to be very welcoming at all. Other than that, brilliant location, good facilities just slightly disappointed a few things were broke and had been for a long time. Location was really good, couldn't fault it at all.

If your next to the road it's very noisy, unless your used to that I wasn't
