We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy despite the gloomy weather outside. The bath was just perfect after a long day and the shower was a great size. Being near the flight path didn’t bother us at all, so don’t worry about that. Perfect spot for dogs, especially those scared of fireworks. Beautifully converted property, we loved it!

We needed a quick dog walking getaway and it was just what we hoped for. Lovely place to stay, with great pubs nearby and endless fields for off-road adventures. Our dog refused to leave, honestly! Great spot.

The place itself is really cosy, with a lovely big shower, a warm kitchen-living area and a super comfy bed. Parking right next to the door was a real bonus. It’s spotlessly clean, well heated and perfect for walks around Thaxted’s beautiful half-timbered streets and windmill. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing weekend here! The place really ticked all the boxes for us and we’re already planning our next visit. The garden was perfect for our dogs and they had a blast. Luna especially loved the underfloor heating, though she came back with a strained tail - apparently wagging it too much! Happy pups, happy us!

We had a fantastic week here with our two little dachshunds, who loved meeting new friends around Thaxted. The cottage itself is really charming and the hot tub was such a treat-especially during the scorching weather, it was perfect to cool off. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome, even taking their dogs out to the fields each day. Being close to the Stansted flight path was actually quite fun, watching the planes come in added a bit of entertainment. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Hide for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful resort! Caravan clean, well looked after. Facilities excellent. Bar pricey - perhaps to be expected. Entertainment team were amazing - particularly Jade and Beth...nothing was too much trouble and genuinely lovely people.

The 2 bed caravan was very clean and comfortable. The area was quiet. The indoor heated swimming pool was a good size and we enjoyed that facility and a small playground. Good location to explore - good value.

Was a lovely holiday site. Only downfall was absolutely no signal in the caravan had to go to the reception or club to get WiFi.

Excellent site, very quiet, clean, staff only too willing to help, would definitely go again.
