We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy despite the gloomy weather outside. The bath was just perfect after a long day and the shower was a great size. Being near the flight path didnt bother us at all, so dont worry about that. Perfect spot for dogs, especially those scared of fireworks. Beautifully converted property, we loved it!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners were genuinely kind and went out of their way to help us, which made all the difference. The place itself is really cosy, with a lovely big shower, a warm kitchen-living area and a super comfy bed. Parking right next to the door was a real bonus. Its spotlessly clean, well heated and perfect for walks around Thaxteds beautiful half-timbered streets and windmill. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing weekend here! The place really ticked all the boxes for us and were already planning our next visit. The garden was perfect for our dogs and they had a blast. We had a fantastic week here with our two little dachshunds, who loved meeting new friends around Thaxted. The cottage itself is really charming and the hot tub was such a treat-especially during the scorching weather, it was perfect to cool off. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome, even taking their dogs out to the fields each day. Being close to the Stansted flight path was actually quite fun, watching the planes come in added a bit of entertainment. Overall, wed definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!
