The owners were genuinely lovely and very helpful when the storm knocked out the power. The cottage was spotless and super cosy. Our dog loved the fenced garden and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub!

The caravan was really lovely, everything we needed was there. It was spotless, including the hot tub, which was a bonus. A friendly chap came by after check-in to show us how to operate it-great service!

We absolutely loved this cosy little cottage. Perfectly tucked away but still near shops and local spots. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating made everything super comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were lovely hosts. Cant wait to visit again soon!

We took a much-needed dog walking break and it was just perfect for us. The place was lovely, with great quality accommodation. Pubs and eateries nearby, plus endless fields to explore. Our dog loved it and didnt want to leave!

We spent a lovely week here with our two little dachshunds, who really loved meeting other dogs in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is really cosy and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially during those scorching days - the cooled water was so refreshing! The hosts were warm and friendly and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields each day. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite fun - watching the planes was a bit of a distraction. Wed happily recommend this place!

The location was just perfect, with loads of nice walks nearby and charming villages like Thaxted to explore. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed. It was just what we needed for a peaceful getaway!

The place itself is charming with its traditional half-timbered look and the shower was surprisingly powerful, which was a nice bonus. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it feel like a real home away from home. Parking right outside was super convenient and the whole cottage was spotless. We have just returned from 2 weeks here. It was a luxurious modern caravan, and the site is wonderful. The staff can't do enough to help you, they are so friendly. The facilities are great, and the area is stunning. Cannot rate it highly enough, thanks for a great holiday

Very surprised with quality of caravan considering we had 2 dogs. It was beautiful and spotlessly clean.

Our caravan was spotless on arrival. A beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a large lounge, everything we needed.
The site was very quite when we went. The pool looked good but didn't use it. The bar only opened Friday and Saturday evenings and the menu looked very basic, so didn't go in.
Only a 15 minute drive to Seaton and 30 minutes to Sidmouth.
Excellent location to visit the area. Would definitely go back.?

Lovely country side setting and clean and tidy site made our holiday so relaxing. Only a 10min drive to Axminster and 25mins to Sidmouth. … would highly recommend. Stayed there in mid July.

We had a great holiday here. The caravan was spotless and had everything you needed. The other bedrooms were well laid out for space compared to caravans we had over the years with our children. But now just the two of us and our dog lots of space. Outside verandah and table and chairs was an added bonus. The caravan got the sun all day. The swimming pool was an added bonus. The PUB had restricted hours when we were there so never got around to tasting the food maybe next time. The field for exercising our dog was great and the scenery was lovely. The park was well kept, quiet and a great place for touring the area. We will definitely return.

It's a beautiful well equipped site, we were not so keen on the location but for others I'm sure it's fine which is why I have scored it a little less, as we had to drive everywhere and didn't really want to do that. The park is fairly well equipped. It would be better if the pub was open for food every day and not just on the weekends. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we accidentally left our daughters doll in our caravan and they posted it back to us. Our caravan was very nice, clean and had everything we needed.

Lovley quiet site in beautiful surroundings.The caravan was lovley but the only thing I was surprised at you had to make your own beds up which I haven’t had to do at any other park hence 9 out of 10 overall rating.otherwise a lovley place to stay maybe look at at your policy for making sure beds are made up because if your family that’s a lot of beds to do and kind of spoils the start of theholiday after a long journey to get there so random? otherwise excellent
