We had such a lovely stay! The owners were genuinely warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. The cottage itself is adorable, with its charming half-timbered style and a super strong shower that we loved. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it perfect for relaxing. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus and everything was spotless. Plus, the walks to Thaxted are simply beautiful-definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway.

This place was fantastic! Spacious 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge kitchen/living space and the hot tub was a real bonus. Perfect for our family of four, we’d definitely return!

Overall, we liked the place, but it’s a bit frustrating that Wi-Fi isn’t free. We’d probably prefer paying a slightly higher rent if it meant having complimentary internet access. Still, decent experience overall!

We booked a dog walking getaway and it couldn’t have been better. The place was lovely, with great pubs and eateries just a short stroll. Plenty of open fields for walking and the dog loved it! We didn’t want to leave.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, honestly it was pretty fantastic overall. The only downside was sitting on the balcony and realising that the trees blocked most of the sunshine, which was a bit of a shame. We did notice other lodges caught more sun, so maybe trimming the trees a little could make a big difference for future guests. Would definitely recommend!

We had four of us, but honestly, it could’ve comfortably fit six. The main issue was just one shower and two toilets - not quite enough for a larger group. Also, only two hot tub towels were provided and the dryer wasn’t big enough. Still, we enjoyed it!

Our stay was great overall. The pool and bar were open, which was a nice surprise since we thought they'd be closed until the next day. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Everything suited our plans perfectly and we'd definitely return. Would recommend for a relaxed getaway!

We had an awesome weekend here! The place really ticked all the boxes for us. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating and playing in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it - the vet says it’s from all the excitement! Definitely plan to return soon. Great stay all round!

Date of stay: 23rd November 2024
The lodge was lovely, really comfy and well-kept. We did wish there was an iron and hair dryer available, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our stay. The on-site pub staff were super friendly, though the food was a bit underwhelming. We’d come back for sure!

Date of stay: 11th November 2024
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Symphony 3 caravan. The only tiny gripe is that an ironing board wasn’t provided and the shower was a bit tricky to get right sometimes. Still, great overall!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The peaceful rural setting was lovely and the courtyard with its slate was charming. The hot-tub was a real highlight! Perfect for relaxing walks too.

Fantastic holiday, peaceful surroundings, wonderful for children with all the on-site facilities, football pitch and plenty of grass areas. Lodge was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Hot tub well maintained daily. Didn’t eat in restaurant mainly due to it being a bit on the small size so rather cramped and pool outside areas could be revamped but overall would rate the park 10/10 and will be returning.
Sherilyn
Stayed in Orchard Retreat in a holiday home with jacuzzi, it was lovely & clean, there were towels for the Jacuzzi & a little welcome gift of Procecco & biscuits. We couldn't fault it, the onsite restaurant meals were very good. The location was perfect easy to go out & about & we mist definitely will return.
Carole
The lodge was lovely, with beautiful views of the countryside. The hot tub was checked every day and thoroughly cleaned at the end of our stay . The site was well kept. Grandchildren loved the pool, even had to themselves some days . Great family holiday.
Mandy
Lovely and quiet! Beautiful views!! Unfortunately with going mid July the site for restaurant etc wasn't fully open
Pat
The Orchard retreat was a beautiful place to stay, gorgeous views, a fantastic lodge with all the extras and a lovely pool to cool off in. We’ll definitely return again.
Arainna
Beautiful location looking out over fields. Very helpful staff on arrival, providing maps information and offering to take us to our lodge. Accommodation was lovely and comfortable, very homely with welcome gifts that were a great extra. Amazing for taking the dog too and loved the blanket to allow them on the furniture with us, very different attitude to other places we’ve stayed.
Michelle
Perfect location close to many Towns with outstanding beaches etc , second visit here, this time in the orchard retreat, perfect with dogs as has its own dog field and woods. Pool perfect & quiet as not school hols. Lodge was clean and hot tub was perfect. Downside was the bar & restaurant not being open during the week as out of term time but we knew this when booking so no biggy. Highly recommend!
Tim
Very good ? nice complimentary bottle of prosecco
Keith
Lovely site nice and friendly staff Pity the bar and restaurant was not open
Steven
Great location , symphony 2 VIP lodge was excellent , location was within easy reach for Lyme Regis , Bridport , West bay etc . Most amenities weren't open on site as it was considered off peak , swimming pool was open , great local pubs within easy reach for eating out , Tucker's arms , old Inn and new Inn .
Bridget
The pub and restaurant wasn’t open so can’t comment on that, but every think else was very good
Andrew
Very comfortable lodge in lovely peaceful location with some great views. Very well Equipped Kitchen , good showers. Excellent opening hours at the pool.
Jennifer
Andrewshayes Orchard Retreat is fabulous! We arrived and was greeted with a smile and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived at our lodge and was very pleased with how clean and fresh it all was. The complimentary prosecco and biscuits was such a lovely gesture ?. It is set in a very peaceful area and we all slept so well! Signal was good enough for our mobiles and pads in the evening and connecting to the retreat wifi was easy. Lots of places to visit and plenty of local pubs/restaurants to eat and drink in. We will definately give a 10/10 rating as it was very well deserved.
