Where's Tencreek ?

great stay right near looe.Good caravans
Mr Ian beresford
This is the first holiday park that the whole family agreed that they wanted to return to. It is only a small park which means everything is close by and all the staff were brilliant. And also there are plenty of places close by to visit. next time we visit we hope to make for two weeks instead of one.
a jones
lovely caravan site friendly staff son loved it good real ale
Zonera, Luton
Date of stay: 4th August 2018
Perfect place for a relaxing summer holiday
Valerie, Davis
Date of stay: 4th August 2018
The caravan was mostly good, the cooker was in need of some attention, there was a shelf missing in the oven & one hob wasnt working. Toilet door is damaged & would be good if repaired, it adds to the overall appearance. We

Date of stay: 21st July 2018
Lovely quiet location, nice clean caravan thats more than adequate. Great for families or couples alike. Helpful staff in reception and clubhouse. Would definitely go back again.
Debra, Summercourt, Cornwall
Date of stay: 9th July 2018
It would have been a straight 10 if the site supplied or rented out fans. It was ridiculously hot in the caravan & even with all the windows open day & night there was just no way to get out of the heat in the caravan.
Everything about the holiday otherwise was awesome.
Angela, Hereford
Date of stay: 7th July 2018
Everything A1 in the caravan.

Brilliant time, will be returning 2019 or hopefully later this year
Sandra, Swadlincote
Date of stay: 23rd June 2018
Great place , staff made you feel welcome. The only complaint is people with dogs using the club leaving there animals in the caravans barking all the time.
Rebecca, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
We had such a lovely week with our puppy. He loved the beautiful walks through the gorgeous scenery. We loved the accomadation and location. The staff were lovely and helpful. The accomadation was plenty big enough and we'll equipped. The only down side was the previous people had obviously smoked outside the place with Windows open as inside smelt of smoke and the cigarette butts were all over the grass which we cleaned up in case the dog ate them. Other than that it was perfect.

Date of stay: 18th May 2018
nice caravan for two adults with plenty of sitting space in the living area. first time we have had a 28 x 10 caravan. in the past we have had mainly 35 x 12 holiday caravans which offer more space but we were more than happy with the caravan we were allocated.
John, Margate
Date of stay: 18th May 2018
The only fault we had was the television was so tiny it couldn't be watched so had no choice but to go out for entertainment so it put a extra expense on the holiday. Would recommend tencreek for families but would recommend they shop at the super markets in surrounding areas and cooked in the caravan as it will save a fortune.
Jean, Polegate

Date of stay: 23rd March 2018
We stayed in March. The site was quiet which was great for us so relaxing. Staff were friendly on arrival. Good base for visiting nearby Polperro, Looe and further afield Plymouth, Liskeard and Truro for shops by car. We stayed last Sept and enjoyed too.

Date of stay: 11th August 2017
The thing I would recommend is to build a smoking area as people were just stood on the staris in front of the door where everyone has to walk in and out of to get to the entertainment

Date of stay: 22nd July 2017
The caravan was lovely apart from a few broken features, the staff were friendly but not overly helpful. The children's entertainment wasn't as good as last year and pool was really cold meaning we only used it once in the two weeks we were there.
Mark
Date of stay: 22nd July 2017
Enjoyable holiday sharme about the club entertainment and bar hours
Michelle, Macclesfield
Date of stay: 22nd July 2017
The caravan was clean, spacious, modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. If I had to mention a minor gripe, it would be that the shower could be extremely temperamental! It worked well; quite the little power shower, but the temperature could range from scorching hot to freezing cold with no rhyme or reason, (a little like the Cornish weather), however, we did master it eventually and I've yet to stay in any caravan without "shower issues"
Sandra, Melksham Wiltshire

A lovely caravan on a great site
Diane, Wakefield
Date of stay: 30th June 2017
Our caravan was only two months old and in as new condition. The bed was comfortable and the spacious shower had plenty of hot water. There was full central heating so it was cosy when it rained. The television worked well and the caravan was stocked for self catering. Parking for one car was right outside the caravan on the grass. Wifi was available in the caravan at extra charge.

On the down side, the pillows were not very comfortable and our duvet had the stuffing coming out one end.It was obvious that the carpet had not been cleaned very thoroughly before we arrived. The wardrobes had not been checked as we found a pair of trousers belonging to a previous occupant.
Stephen, Warwick Uk
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
The caravan was a bit shabby with ripped seats in the lounge the draw in the kitchen was broken and would not open correctly. But was clean.
Alyson, Wolverhampton
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
The only problem we had with our caravan was the cleanliness when we first arrived, the sofa still had dried food on from the previous occupants, the carpet and flooring had bits of food on, the cupboards had marks on them, all in all nothing felt clean enough to use until we cleaned them ourselves.
Hannah
Date of stay: 19th June 2017
Amazing!!!!!!!!!
David, Kendal
Date of stay: 17th June 2017
We found the Holiday home to be spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds and positioned in a lovely quiet place. Well decorated but would benefit with some lamps and a few cushions. We brought our own which just finished things of. When we did watch the tv we did find it to loose signal every now and then. We had brought our firestick with us but were unable to use it as it seemed as if your internet provider blocked it.
Robert, West Midlands.
Date of stay: 29th May 2017
The unit was well equipped , spacious and comfortable. Arguably the cleanest unit I have ever stayed in.
David, Tring

Helpful staff. Set in beautiful surroundings and close to Looe centre. The indoor swimming pool is a huge bonus, especially when it's raining. This was our second stay at the park and we will be staying here again.

Date of stay: 14th April 2017
The caravan was a very good size. Some areas could have done with a little TLC but you expect some things to be worn. The sofa bed was a little musty smelling.

Date of stay: 8th August 2016
Absolutely amazing!! We loved this site so much were booking again for next summer! The site is perfect for my family and dog with lovely walks to the beach, swimming pool and large Park and the night time entertainment was fantastic. The staff on site are very friendly and great with kids too. The on site food 5 hygiene rating is delicious and also offers a takeaway service which we found perfect after our long days out sight seeing. We could even see the sea from our caravan window and the location Looe is beautiful. We are looking forward to visiting again. Thank you Tencreek for making our holiday special!

Date of stay: 28th May 2016
Our accommodation was excellent we went out of season so the central heating was a bonus (no clicking the gas fire for ages 1st thing in the morning). Ours was at the back of the park with views of the sea and horses in the field next to us. Plenty cups plates etc. There were 7 of us in total but because the sunseeker was such good value for money we decided to split the party and book two.

Caravan was lovely..
Views and location great for a quite break with the family.... Only negatives is caravan was chilli overnight (but the fire on low helps) and the pool was cold too but I expect its warmer in the summer as its glass fronted :)
We will certainly stay again thank you tencreek
Gillian, Ludlow
Date of stay: 8th February 2016
I have marked cleanliness down as a 7...because although I did not use them....one of the duvets for the single beds smelt of urine and had a large stain . The pillows were very thin and of poor quality and had seen better days . The ignition switch on the cooker did not work . Everything else however was spotless .
Jodie, Wiltshire
Date of stay: 3rd January 2016
Only thing I'd say is make sure you bring tea towels, etc as we had nothing at all so had to go out and buy it all.

David, Staffordshire
Date of stay: 2nd October 2015
Nice caravan, however it's wasn't the most comfortable we've stayed in with our pet dog, but certainly of a good standard. More room would have been nice - especially the bed and bedroom which we found rather cramped. Also whilst we are aware people don't want to use a caravan where animals are allowed in, why is it parks do not allocate a few larger caravans for responsible more mature people like ourselves that do own a dog. We have a Cocker-spaniel. Would not advise a bigger breed of dog in these caravans, especially with a family.
Anita, Helston, Cornwall.
Date of stay: 28th September 2015

Date of stay: 14th August 2015
Its the second time me & my family have holidayed at tencreek we will be back again next year. Very comfortable stay overall we love it at tencreek, welcoming & entertaining. our only downside is with not having a car the walk up from looe with a bag load of shopping. Perhaps more buses & cheaper rates would be a good idea or maybe bike hirer is a thought
Lee, Harlow
Date of stay: 31st July 2015
Caravan scores low, because it looked like the cushions were old, and stained. Heating in each room would have been nice, but holiday itself almost perfect. Generally very happy
Andrea, Wigan Lancashire
Date of stay: 24th July 2015
Nice camp with stunning views and immaculate sun king premier caravan.
Staff were very friendly and if you had any issues they dealt with it swiftly.
Only slight negative was the position of our caravan was very near the sports cages and constant banging of the cage by older kids and balls flying over hitting cars and surrounding caravans needs more monitoring to keep on top of it.
Entertainment facilities are good but need a little updating.
Sharon, Brighton
Date of stay: 13th July 2015
A very picturesque place to stay and excellent value for money, the table and one of mattresses need replacing but the static caravan was in good condition apart from that.

It's a shame you can't get W.Fi in the caravan and no DVD's players to hire plus the shop is very expensive and it's a very steep hill into town but there are regular buses. There's plenty to see in the area, a great friendly town. Everyone was so kind to us, Cornish people are wonderful
Jayne, Leicestershire

Spotlessly clean caravan with heating for those chilly evenings, which also ensures lots of lovely hot water in the nice big shower!

Plenty of storage and very comfortable all round.

Only small negative, not enough trays for the oven for cooking, no spatula for cooking eggs etc and only 6 plates (1 per person) so none to put bread etc on.

staff were extremely helpful as I had told them I would be arriving close to mid night they left our welcome packs and keys out for us and even put the fire on in the caravan so it wouldn't be too cold when we arrived. the caravan facilities were clean cooker, crockery, toilet, shower etc. but there were cobwebs around the light in the lounge and a fly on the kitchen floor when we arrived.

Very nice caravan we were all very warm and comfortable in mid winter, the oven needs more shelves and grill didn't work, the heating should also be checked before the customers arrive I think. We had everything needed in the caravan, quilts were warm. Single beds just big enough for adults. Clean on first impression but the floor needs cleaning properly. Generally very happy.

Although our caravan was lovely, being nearly new it was not too well equipped re pots etc and the cutlery was awful. Having said this, we are used to staying in privately owned caravans and these are always better equipped. It would have been nice to know that our caravan would be situated near the kids play area as we could probably then have asked for a different one. All in all though it was a very good holiday and excellent value for money.

Excellent! We used as a base for visiting different areas but when we stayed on site the activities for the children were great. Nice play area and the football/basketball pitch was a great hit with my 11 year son. The pool was ok but could have been warmer and is quite deep at the shallow end. Past caravans have been cold at night but the sunbeam caravan was double gazed and it made a huge difference. Lots to do in lovely Looe and would definitely recommend.

Perfect spot with a beautiful view over the sea and looe island, very handy for Looe and Polperro which was amazing. The pool not very warm and a bit small for the size of the site. My husband and I would go again but not my granddaughter who loves swimming.

Lovely setting with views of the sea - great walks into Looe and other local places. The caravan we stayed in was quite old and could do with updating- but was comfy non the less. We liked the sites locality and would definitely stay there again.

Date of stay: 28th July 2014
Excellent location for visiting so many places. Any queries got sorted immediately with no problems whatsoever. Staff were on the ball and nothing was too much trouble. Ate in the bar once for breakfast and once for dinner. Food and service was really good and value for money. Only went to the indoor pool once as weather was too good to be indoors but it was extremely loud and seemed a bit chaotic so glad we didn't need to go in there again. I am quite fussy but can honestly say I'd love to come here again and would definitely recommend it.

A thoroughly enjoyable week. When I booked the week away had a car available but unfortunately split with my then partner so no car. I/the children made the best of the situation still it was a bit of a struggle with having a 3yr old, but would still holiday at tencreek again having no car

We arrived very early at campsite(8.30am), after getting of the ferry in Wales and driving through the night. We had a very tired 5 and 7 year old with us and we were all very disappointed we were not able to get the caravan keys until 3.50pm. We appreciate it was up to us we arrived early but we really would have appreciated getting the keys a little earlier, especially as check out is 10am so there was 6 hrs to clean the van. Every time we came back to check if the caravan was ready we were told house keeping we're just going to check it had been cleaned to standard. 2hrs later we got the keys 10mins before the 4pm check in. I was starting to get a little paranoid that my northern Irish accent may be holding things up. We're used to caravan inch in France and the campsites there seem to be a lot more flexible/ accommodating with check in times. Apart from the initial wait to check in the rest of the trip was great. Caravan very clean and in v good condition

Excellent with very helpful staff
Sandra
Have been here lots of times. Never any complaints. Excellent facilities. Very good value for money. Lovely location. Near the town of Looe.
Tracy
Lovely caravan, great view and very helpful staff. Enjoyed the bingo but would have liked more games but that's just a personal preference.
Renee
The views from the site are wonderful, despite lots of sea mist and rain in early April. The heated pool is clean and ideal if you have small children. The MUGA is also a great facility and we could see the children playing on it from our caravan and it all felt very safe. The caravan was pretty basic, but fine for the price. There was insufficient cutlery and glasses, the fridge door lacked shelves for milk but the gas hob, microwave and toaster was fine . You need to take washing up stuff, toilet paper and we found an extension lead useful. Use of wifi in your caravan is an added expense, although you can get free use at the clubhouse.
Jackie
Absolutely brilliant ,but think they should of had entertainment on the sundaynight which would make people want to come back if they where leaving on the monday morning.
Anne
Nice site very clean inside caravan 8/10 only one thing parking on grass outside caravan! Grass churned up and muddy.
Helen
Most enjoyable overall.
Andrew
Great site and location.
Natalie
Although our accommodation had a leak they managed to make quick work of moving us to a different caravan which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and the kids loved the clubhouse and entertainment. It was just a shame about the weather
