Where's Widemouth Bay Caravan Park?
Mrs Williams
We stayed here for a week in June and loved every minute. Even though we had some bad weather there was always something to do and the children made some good friends. The site felt safe and we were happy for them to wander around the park without us.
Gillian, Royal Wootton Bassett
Date of stay: 29th October 2018

Date of stay: 28th July 2018
Good size caravan, I understand that the older caravans are used for visitors with dogs. But they still should be cleaned to a good standard. We still had dog drool marks on our windows from the previous visitors, just for starters!

Our only disappointment was the gas oven! It took over an hour on full heat to cook something that should take 20minutes!

Rained all the time we were there. Bude in the rain isn't very good as the only thing going for it is the beautiful beaches. Had to spend a lot of time in car to go out.the camp it's self was lovely and nighttime entertainment was ok. Food on camp good but when busy took a while.

Date of stay: 4th April 2016
Caravan was lovely and comfortable but as I was with family and I am 29 the bed was not long enough for me in the twin room so I used the sofa which was a lot more comfortable for me, we were also given a caravan in a great spot too, very close to all facilities and could let our 7 year old out in the park and still be able to keep watch of her from the window, perfect mini break
Jack, Clevedon
Date of stay: 26th October 2015
We enjoyed our one week stay very much it was one of the best caravans we have stayed in we will be back again,we would have liked Fish&Chip shop and a better play park for the kids all staff were very helpful and polite and the site was very clean and tidy.

Philip, Nottingham
Date of stay: 14th September 2015
Even though we had a dog friendly caravan for a silver rated van I thought it was a little overrated. Comfortable but need slite attention.

Absolutely lovely caravan. Ideal layout for 6 of us and everything we needed was provided. Real luxury.
Sue, East Sussex
Date of stay: 5th September 2015
We had a wonderful stay at Widemouth Bay. All staff were very helpful from the receptionist who booked us in she gave us all the information we required for our stay to the park staff helping us with a couple of problems we had, they were all very helpful and could not do enough for us. The park is located in a very beautiful site with views over the hills and sea fabulous after a long sightseeing day to relax and enjoy the scenery . Thank you all very much for making our stay at Widemouth so pleasant :-)
Amie, Bargoed South Wales

Clive, Eastleigh
Date of stay: 28th August 2015
Our stay in the budget caravan was pleasant, however it lacked a clothes airer, which is really needed to dry out wet swimwear.
The clubhouse was somewhat in need of modernisation.
Janet, Birmingham
Date of stay: 22nd August 2015
When we arrived we discovered we had been upgraded to a brand new platinum caravan which was fantastic, the best caravan we have ever stayed in.
Tim, Bridgnorth
Date of stay: 22nd August 2015
Caravan was spacious , and very clean. The only bad point would be that some of the mugs and cups supplied were chipped and very badly stained. We did approach the staff at the reception who told us this would be put right, but by the end of the week still had not been sorted out.
Laura, Stoke On Trent
Date of stay: 15th August 2015
We were over the moon with the caravan!

Couldn't fault the caravan, very clean, only gripe i have is, we couldn't fit the travel cot in the main bedroom with us, but other than that, really couldn't fault.
Emma, Kidderminster
Date of stay: 27th June 2015
As we stayed with our dog was a bit jubious of what caravan would be like, but was immaculate very clean
Shelia, Aberdare R.c.t. South Wales
Date of stay: 26th June 2015
Caravan had all the facilities that we needed, spacious area to sit outside but we had to go and purchase seats in order to take advantage of this area.
Richard, Banbry
Date of stay: 22nd June 2015
Our own new mobile home was wonderfully equipped, and very comfortable. There were not many kitchen implements, nor thing like casserole dishes, but we muddled along.

Fabulous location....spotless caravan....really friendly helpful staff
Ianto, London
Date of stay: 13th April 2015
Brilliant place to go for a family holiday. Only downside is the need to have a car to go anywhere off site and that it is not suitable for disabled people. But the company very clearly states this on its website. Amazing staff, good food. A great time all around.
Martin, Dawlish
Date of stay: 13th April 2015

Lyndsey
Date of stay: 25th August 2014
Dissapointed that one of the swings were broken
Dissapointed that alot of the amusements were out of order
The crazy golf needed updating it wasn't even level and a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss
The changing room to swimming pool was too small and not private at all everytime someone opened the door everyone in tbe pool could see you

The caravan was one of the best we've stayed in with our dog and location and friendly staff were very helpful
Kim
Date of stay: 23rd August 2014

Beverley
Date of stay: 1st August 2014
Great holiday park! To improve it, I would have liked to park my car next to the caravan - There weren't enough spaces at times and I had to park in a disabled spot! Some outdoor furniture would have also been good.
H
Date of stay: 18th July 2014
Peter was so helpful & wonderful.
We will defiantly go back again.
Stephen, Christow
Date of stay: 31st May 2014
We had a fab holiday, the parc was clean and well maintained.

My only negative feedback is the children's entertainment was very repetitive each night, same games every night we attended. Plus timing for my young children were not ideal.
Simon, London
Date of stay: 30th May 2014
Furniture, TV could be brought into the 21st Century without too much expense (?).

Amanda, Birmingham
Date of stay: 21st April 2014
We really enjoyed our stay we wanted a quiet break and thats what we got. Had we been travelling with the grandchildren we probably wouldnt have enjoyed the stay so much, due to the location. We would book again and the caravan was faultless and really spacious and comfy. Thankyou for an enjoyable stay.
Rachel, Necastle Under Lyme
Date of stay: 21st April 2014
It was a nice park with lovely surroundings, the caravan was great, we didn't use the on site bar as we explored the local area. On arrival the staff were very helpful and pleasant and we were able to check in early which was a bonus. I would definitely stay again.
Billy
Fantastic location with plenty to do on and off the park.

We found the site easily and we're greeted by friendly staff who made us feel relaxed and welcome. We stayed for the last week of the Easter holidays ( 118). Beautiful location with everything we needed. Heated indoor pool was nice and warm and a really good size. Lots of other entertainments ( crazy golf, play areas, club and useful well stocked onsite shop.Bude is 5 mins drive up the road with a lidl /Morrisons / sainsburys etc.We could see everything was being well maintained at the site.We will definitely be returning as it's a great location!!
Nathan
This was our first experience at the Park, and I have to say it was FANTASTIC!!!! The site was immaculately clean, very well presented, as was the van and special thanks need to be passed on to the grounds team and the cleaners. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole week, and cannot recommend it highly enough. First class, and we will be back......
