We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was fantastic. The place is super well-equipped and even though it’s on a working farm, it feels so peaceful. The hosts are really friendly too, made us feel right at home!

We absolutely loved this cottage! It’s tucked away in such a peaceful spot, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was a real treat and the place was spotless with all the essentials. Plenty of walks nearby and a charming village to explore. Truly fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! The place was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the dog-friendly walks just outside the door and the farm animals were such a delight-especially Penelope the pig! The host was super friendly and quick to respond. Definitely coming back, great value for money! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage. It’s nestled on a working farm but feels surprisingly private, which was a big plus for us. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are lovely and really accommodating. The place itself is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn’t want to leave. The garden is perfect for our dog, totally secluded and with nice furniture to relax on. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s eateries like The Star and The Maypole are worth a visit. Honestly, we’d definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The place itself is beautifully kept, warm and spotless. The shower is great and the cosy kitchen and living area made it feel like home. Parking right next door is a real bonus and the walks around Thaxted are perfect for a relaxing day out. Definitely recommend!

We had a really nice stay at this cosy cottage on a working farm and it’s surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such lovely folks, making us feel very welcome. The place is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and the bed is honestly so comfy we didn’t want to leave! The garden is perfect for dogs - totally secluded and with nice furniture. Plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out at The Star and The Maypole in Thaxted. Definitely recommend!

We just got back from a fantastic four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were genuinely lovely-friendly but never intrusive, always there if we needed them. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we could possibly need and we even enjoyed the BBQ one evening. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant! We’re already telling friends about it and would love to come back. Thanks for a great break!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and the dogs really enjoyed the garden and the underfloor heating-Luna especially. She was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but the vet says she’s fine. Overall, a lovely stay and we’re already planning to come back soon!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two little dachshunds and they absolutely loved it! They made new friends in the charming village of Thaxted, which was lovely to see. The cottage itself was cosy and really well equipped, especially the hot tub - perfect after those hot summer days. The water was kept cool, making it super refreshing. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It was interesting to watch the planes land since we’re near Stansted’s flight path. Definitely a place we’d recommend for a relaxing break!

We absolutely loved our break, the pool was lovely & warm, staff were all friendly lots going on for the kids too. Caravan was clean & spacious. Food & drink reasonably priced. Bad points the lack of soap in the pool toilets non at all in the men's or the women's! Which I think is a pretty basic that should be kept on top of! We left early as our daughter was unwell & the gift shop wasn't open until 6pm which was a disappointment to an already unwell little lady & her sister. We have an electric car the charge points weren't very well advertised so we ended up driving to use the airport ones, when we did discover them at the park (behind the Nisa store) there were 3 non electric cars taking up the spaces to charge which is unhelpful. Lastly the weird pool opening times 10-12:45 then closed other than paid activities until 2:45 I've never been to a park that has shut the pool? Surely the pool should be open all day if you have paid to use the park? On the whole the park is modern & a fun place, we'd definitely return & recommend.
