Second time weve been to the site peaceful well kept caravan site the down side is if you take children theres no park or pool for them and no clubhouse

Great value for money. We usually book a holiday cottage but their location wasn't as good as this site.

We had a fantastic weekend at this place! It really ticked all the boxes for us. The underfloor heating was a hit with our dogs-they had a blast in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much that she strained it, but the vet said its normal after such fun! Definitely planning to return soon. We loved it!

Good value for money, a good sized caravan with everything we needed.Complementary biscuits, coffee pods and a few tea bags/ milk pods and toilet rolls. We had to take our own towels which was fine. The heating worked really well and the caravan soon warmed up as the weather was a bit chilly. The bed wasnt particularly comfortable and we could have done with more pillows

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it felt very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such warm and friendly folks. The place is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn't want to leave! The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. We enjoyed lots of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, were great. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay at Norfolk Broad Country Park! The caravan was really modern and spotlessly clean, with a big fridge freezer and washing machine. Perfect location too. Well definitely come back!

We loved our stay here! The place is set in a stunning, secluded spot - perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were super friendly and always ready to help without intruding on our privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after long bike rides; absolute bliss! One thing to note, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be worth considering if youre sensitive to noise. All in all, a lovely spot!

We loved staying here! The peaceful rural setting was just what we needed and the hot tub really made it special. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying long country walks too.

We really enjoyed our time there; it was super peaceful and quiet, which was just what we needed. The lodge itself was tidy and the beds were comfy, so no complaints on that front. That said, it did feel like the place could do with a bit of sprucing up - some areas looked a bit worn out. For example, the curtain holder in the bedroom was completely broken and just left in the drawer, plus there was some damage to the side of the bedroom unit. The fridge door didnt quite shut properly either and we found a bottle of cooking oil left in the cupboard, which was a bit odd. The worktop had some damage too. Staff couldve been a bit more on the ball when we mentioned the Wi-Fi wasnt working; they gave us a code for another lodge and said itd be fine, but the Wi-Fi was weak all week. It was only when we checked out that we saw the modem in the lodge was turned off - a simple fix that staff couldve easily looked into. Still, overall, wed recommend it for a nice break!

We stayed at this lovely lodge, perfect for our family of four. The two toilets made mornings so much easier! The lounge was spacious and cosy, especially in the chilly February weather. Beds were comfy with plenty of room. Just a heads-up, adding more dishes and egg cups would be great. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Great location, friendly staff too

Fantastic lodge - beautifully furnished for a family of four. The two toilets really helped. The lounge/ dining area was a great space to socialise. Warns and cozy during cold February. Beds comfy and with plenty of space. Would recommend some more dishes/ serving plates in the kitchen- and egg cups! Aside from this, lovely!

We had a really lovely time! Sharon and Robert were such friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie. The location was spot on, with lots of nice walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are absolutely charming. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed after our week away!

We recently stayed in this new caravan and honestly, its pretty good overall. The locations decent and wed probably come back. That said, the heating system left us a bit unsure - with nighttime temps around 7 or 8 degrees, it only just kept us warm and I doubt itd cope if it got much colder. The radiator setup isnt ideal; a wall thermostat would be much better than fiddling with individual radiators. Also, it wouldve been handy to have some more electric sockets in the lounge for charging phones and gadgets. The close proximity to other caravans did cause some minor issues, like people getting out before us and the occasional door banging. But yeah, not bad at all!

We booked a dog walking getaway and it was just what we needed. The place had great quality accommodation, with lovely pubs and eateries nearby. Miles of fields and off-road walks, our dog didnt want to leave!

The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was fantastic! This place is just perfect if you're after peace and quiet. The cottage is spotless and has everything you could need. The hot tub was a real treat after a day exploring the nearby walks. We had such a lovely break, totally recommend it!

Perfect accommodation in lovely kept surroundings. Not far from the coast if you wanted to visit, with lovely broads on your doorstep if you want peace and quiet. Local stores for essentials and good pub and chippy, we will definitely return.

Happy to say, as soon as we entered the site was welcomed by staff member Tracey so nice, our midweek accommodation was so lovely and clean. Also very welcoming. We will definitely Come back one day Thank you.

Lovely setting. Beautiful lodge new, clean and extremely comfortable. A credit to the owner and all of his team. We will be back for our 6th stay asap.
