Lovely lodge, dog friendly, gated decking area with the hot tub allowed the dog to roam the secure decking whilst we relaxed in the hot tub.

We stayed for a week from 9th August till 16th August.I really struggle with this review as I loved it but had problems at the same time.Pros-The caravan was in a great spot (number 13 the falls)-Sitting in the hot tub watching the waterfall right beside you.-Great location to access tourist spots in North Wales.-friendly staff and accommodating-a lovely nearby walk by the waterfalls.Cons-nearest shops are Tesco express and Londis. Both don't sell a lot and what they do sell are quite pricey.-hot tub must have had a leak or someone was emptying it whilst we were out. I only went in in the evening my children didn’t go in at all and from mid week every evening we came back a lot of water had gone out the hot tub. By Wednesday so much water had gone it was lower than the filter. The staff did bring me a hose pipe to refill it which I had to do every evening but when you get back at 8/9oclock most nights you don't want to be topping up the hot tub before getting in.- The van seemed like it needed a good clean. Dirt and mould around the inside of the windows. A bit of mould and mildew spray and a good wipe would sort that out.-radiators didn't work or wasn't on.Read the manual which asks you not to touch the heating systems.Got really cold during the night. It did say speak to staff and they will adjust for you but we were out from 7/8am- 8pm/9pm every day and the reception only open 9-5pm.It said the weather was going to get hot in the next couple of days so we hoped the temperature in the van would improve by the end of the week but it didn't especially in the bedrooms. However there was a small heater in the living area which kept the living area warm in an evening, it was just chilly in the back bedrooms. An easy manual for us to read to adjust by ourselves would be great.- all radiators in the van were extremely rusty.-although there are ample parking spaces they are quite tight to Manoeuvre in and out of. I tried to park with a free space either side to help us get in and out. A bigger blue badge spot would be ideal in the area. There was also something extremely spooky about either our van or the land it's on. I would find the cupboards open in the far bedroom with the double bed in.We didn't use any of the cupboards! We didn’t even unpack our suitcases, We would go to sleep with them shut and wake up to them open. ????

Perfect wee lodge, perfect location facing the river and lots of privacy. The lodge was spotless and furnishing made it very homely.

On arrival the park was very nice in a great location, the lodge itself was abit dated but it was a pet friendly lodge so we went going to complain, the main issue we had was on the second day I had a call to say electrical work needed doing in the the lodge and a electrician was on his way, he was a friendly guy but spent hours working in the lodge whilst we were meant to be on holiday, we’re not the type to complain but it was abit of a joke, sone of the other lodges on the site looked very nice so we would consider staying again but hopefully without an electrician !!

We had a lovely time staying at this Hoseasons property. Lovely layout of the inside of the property, kitchen couldve been more stocked (e.g. more than one frying pan, a cutting board etc.) as it is self catering and some of the cupboards need adjusting as some of them look like they may break soon. When our boiler needed a reset the staff were super helpful and got it back up and running within half an hour, we were out so they kindly called me to let me know. The staff were super friendly and helpful, it was a beautiful lodge to stay in. Ideal location for walking and sights, close to Snowdon, the Mountain Zoo and a Tesco Expres. Really recommend, we had a lovely stay.

We had a really lovely few days at the studio pod, which was beautifully situated overlooking the river. The hot tub was a real highlight and being so close to Zipworld made everything so convenient. The only minor gripe was the single toilet roll and lack of hand soap or towels-probably Covid related, but we managed fine!

We had such a relaxing time here. Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure everything's just right. It’s our second visit already and we’re sure it won’t be the last. Lovely spot!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us warm during that rainy December weather - so appreciated. The bath was lovely and the shower was spacious and powerful. Being near a flight path didn’t bother us at all, which was a relief. Perfect spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, since it’s so remote. Beautifully converted and really cosy. Thanks a lot!

We had such a lovely weekend here, it really ticked all the boxes for us. The place was perfect and our furry friends adored the underfloor heating and the garden space. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-poor girl! Definitely planning to return soon. Great spot for both pups and their humans! Would recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners are genuinely friendly and thoughtful, making us feel really welcome. The place is spotlessly clean and super cosy, with a lovely warm shower and a comfy bed. Parking right outside was a massive plus and we enjoyed walking through the fields to Thaxted, which is full of pretty half-timbered houses and a windmill. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!

We just got back from a fantastic four-night stay at this cosy cottage. The owners were really friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which was much appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! We’re already telling our friends to check it out. Thanks for a lovely time!

We just got back from a really relaxing 7-night stay and honestly, it was lovely. We got a call beforeh and telling us we could check in early, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived, we headed straight to Conwy Spa Lodge 8 - wow, what a spot! It’s right by the river, which made everything feel so peaceful. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean, cosy and had everything we needed. We brought our two dogs along and they loved the veranda with the secure gate - perfect for keeping them safe. The park itself is fantastic, with loads of great places to visit nearby and some beautiful walks right outside your door. We’re already thinking about booking again - such a shame the week had to end, but we’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy little cottage! It’s really well equipped, honestly, we didn’t need to bring anything with us. The welcome pack was full of useful info and menus, which was a lovely touch. The owners, Sharon and Rob, are super quick to reply if you have questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just perfect after a day out. Thanks for the little extras for us and the pups - it made our break really special. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a lovely stay here! The owners are genuinely friendly and really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The cottage itself is adorable, with a charming half-timbered look and a very strong shower that was much appreciated after long walks. The bed was super comfy and the cosy kitchen and lounge made it feel like a home away from home. Parking right outside was a real bonus. Plus, the place was spotless and well heated. Great location for Zipworld, lovely and peaceful surroundings.

Lovely park on the side of a river. Was very quite when we were there as we went the start of Scottish school holidays so not many people around at the time. Lodge was lovely and clean as was the hot tub, ours was in a more private area at the back of the decking. Was based behind the quarry where you could watch the zip line go past all day. We were even brave enough to go on ourselves and was an amazing experience.
Would def recommend if your in the area for zip world.

Beautiful place to stay, would definitely recommend

First time visiting but definitely not the last. The site itself is beautiful, the restaurant food was delicious and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. With regards to the surrounds, what can I say, you can walk for miles with such beautiful scenery of the mountains, steams and rivers, woodland and sheep and it is right next to part of zip world. The lodge was beautiful and comfortable. There isn't a single bad thing I would say about the place. I plan on going back again next year.
Megan
Perfect location for amazing walk! Lodge was lovely with a little hot tub outside, only thing I would suggest is if it’s a pet friendly lodge to possibly have a gate that can be shut so the dogs can be on the decking without being tied up.
Graham
Excellent location comfortable accommodation and friendly staff
Sharon
Beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation. Great location for snowdon and other attractions.
Ian
What a fantastic place! The lodge was warm, comfortable and the hot tub was bliss! The Ogwen Bank team were all very friendly. The site was ideally located for sightseeing. Ticked all the boxes and will definitely be going back!!

We stayed through Hoseasons. The park is so ideal for Zipworld....literally a 10min walk down the river and up the hill. There is a very small restaurant on site which does decent pub food and we found perfectly sufficed for us on our arrival....advise yo precooked though as it is small. Staff all around site are really helpful. Plus side is that you can also eat/drink at Zipworld as it is walkable. The Beechwood Lodge with hot tub was lovely. Comfy and spacious for 2 adults and 2 teen boys and has most things you need. No towels though! Also, Beechwood is next to the road so advise earplugs! We also went to The Wave in Dolgarrog. Highly recommend activities there too....surfing and Ninja course. The site is being extended with new lodges so some areas are in a little disarray. However a perfect, peaceful spot to visit the beautiful Snowdonia area.

Was gorgeous. All the amenities were provided. Staff were so helpful. Great views. Right next to the ogwen Valley and waterfall.
