Great location, loads to do nearby

We had quite a few issues during our stay. The door was tough to open and we had to call maintenance to get it fixed because it wouldn’t lock properly. Several chairs were broken and the drawer was hanging loose. The shower flooded, which was a pain. On the bright side, the entertainment was enjoyable and the staff were friendly. Still, it was a bit disappointing overall.

The chalet was tidy enough inside, though quite simple-no towels and limited cutlery. Heating worked well and the hot water was plentiful, which was great. Outside was a bit scruffy with rubbish everywhere. Still, overall, a decent stay for the price. Not bad!

Honestly, our stay at the windmill chalet was a bit of a mixed bag. The place looked nothing like the photos online, which was a bit disappointing. We booked for four, but there were only three chairs and forks, which was odd. Storage was pretty much non-existent-no wardrobe or drawers, just a hook here and there. We managed to hang towels on an over-door airer, but that’s about it. On the plus side, it was reasonably clean and quite comfy, but very basic overall.

Good value overall, but a few small improvements would make it perfect.

We had a lovely stay in the chalets with our two little ones and partner. Everything we needed was provided-fridge, oven, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, even a clothes hanger! The size was just right-cozy but not cramped. We really enjoyed it!

Not impressed, the carpet was really stained and grubby.

We booked last minute so didn’t have high hopes, but it turned out to be quite decent. The chalet was surprisingly clean, despite some reviews saying otherwise. The kids loved the big grassy area right outside to run around. All activities need booking through an app and most were fully booked well in advance, so we didn’t get to try much. Luckily, you can just walk into the swimming pool without booking. The best part has to be the location - right in front of a gorgeous beach, which is perfect for a relaxing day out. We’d come back!

We reckon the TV would look much better wall-mounted instead of cluttering up the small dining table space.

The entertainment centre was a bit worn out, but we still had a lovely holiday and plan to return.

The chalet was really charming, but a blind on the door window would’ve added more privacy, especially during the night. Would definitely stay again!

The place was okay for what we paid, but honestly, it was quite basic. Thin mattresses, weak water pressure and taps that scalded us sometimes-bit of a letdown.

Honestly, this place was such a letdown. The bathroom was filthy and outdated and nothing worked properly. Plus, trying to speak to a manager was impossible. Terrible experience.

Honestly, it was such a letdown. The place was filthy, everything seemed worn out and nothing worked properly. Tried talking to someone in charge but no luck. Had to clean the bathroom myself before we could even use it. Not impressed at all.

Honestly, we’ve been coming here twice a year for a while, but this last visit was pretty disappointing. The chalet was filthy, smelled strongly of smoke despite it being non-smoking and the cleanliness was just not up to scratch. The food wasn’t suitable for kids or older folks either. Not their best day, that’s for sure!

Really enjoyed our stay, though the location made unpacking a bit of a hassle.

The chalet was pretty worn out, stains on the carpet and fridge precariously balanced. The dishwasher didn’t work at all.

We honestly thought the place was quite charming, especially since it’s so close to the entertainment area, so it was a bit noisy but also tucked away enough to relax. It’s a bit disappointing that it wasn’t cleaned properly - carpets were grubby with food bits and drawers still had stuff from previous guests. The sofas were covered in rubbish and cobwebs were everywhere, which wasn’t great. Also, having to strip the beds before leaving was a bit of a pain, honestly. Not sure what the cleaners are doing! Still, it has potential.

We found the caravan to be really well-kept, modern and stocked with everything we needed - apart from one glass! We struggled a bit with the heating, so it did get a tad chilly sometimes. On the bright side, hot water and good TV reception made up for it. Overall, decent stay!

We had a lovely time overall; the park itself was really pleasant and the staff were super friendly, which made things even better. The caravan was quite nice, but there were a few bits that just didn’t quite work. For starters, I accidentally burnt my forearm on the cooker door - it slammed shut on me while I was trying to get our meal out (got pictures to prove it, sadly!). The fridge was a bit of a pain too, with just one shelf and the salad shelves being part of it, so you have to empty everything just to get to the salad underneath - a bit awkward! The freezer door was tiny and kept hitting the fridge door because they were so close together. The toilet roll holder was ridiculously close to the toilet, making it tricky to reach. As for the TV, the signal was terrible, so we ended up bringing our own DVD player and discs. No instructions for the TV, microwave, or Bluetooth setup either, which was frustrating since we’re usually pretty tech-savvy. Still, we enjoyed our stay despite the little issues!

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with this. There was no cooker tray, so cooking was a nightmare - we had to just lay things on the bottom of the shelf, which isn’t ideal. No shelves at all made everything feel a bit neglected. Some doors stuck when opening and one even had a hole. The sink was patched up, probably because it was chipped before. Not great overall.

We decided to stay in Rye rather than the Park and honestly, it was a good choice. The site facilities weren’t really utilised by us, but we did take a stroll through the Park one evening. We were surprised to see security guards checking bags before people entered the Club-it makes you wonder if there’s really a problem with misbehaviour there. Our caravan was tucked away in a peaceful corner, which was lovely. The only real downside was the long 40-minute wait to check in-that’s definitely something they need to sort out quickly!

Honestly, it was a real letdown. The website looked tired and the restaurant staff barely acknowledged us. Security was pretty unprofessional and the caravan was filthy-dog hairs everywhere. We definitely won’t be coming back. Such a shame really.

Honestly, our stay was pretty disappointing overall. We specifically requested to be placed closer to the amenities because our son is disabled, but ended up at the very back of the site. It made getting to the pool and water park a real chore. The food at the Boat House was another letdown - took forever, like two hours and when we asked for a refund, we were told to wait. Still waiting now, which is over two weeks later! The bedding was also not clean when we arrived, so I had to wash it myself in the laundry. We decided to leave early, on the Friday instead of Monday and honestly, we wouldn’t go back. The shower was covered in mould too, although we cleaned it ourselves to be fair. Worst experience we’ve ever had, honestly. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We haven't tried the chippy or food courts yet, honestly.

The caravan was spotless and the site was well-kept. Everyone was really respectful, which was nice. We did notice there was only one drinking glass, a missing baking tray and no frying pan, but at least there was a teapot!

Nice time even though the English rains came for 2 days , nevertheless we had a nice break and I would not hesitate to book again , great fun for children, thanks !!

We had a lovely stay at camber sands and the staff was amazing and so helpful , the complex is great for kids
Claire
We had a wonderful holiday here, booked lots of kids clubs but was plenty more to do anyway. Kids loved the arcade and splash park. Staff were so helpful and friendly , food was delicious although a bit pricey. We have booked already to come back and probably wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
Michelle
We had a couple of issues on arrival, the key for the caravan hadn’t been left for us, we had over an hours wait for our food on the first night but after that we had a lovely weekend. Would definitely go back.
