We first came about nine yrs ago, and we have visited a few times inbetween, but this year we returned as a family of 5. Our two girls felt right at home at 'our holiday', and our little boy loved exploring the lodge. We always try to get the same lodge, and on 3 of our 4 visits we have been able too. Our eldest two love the playground and I can't wait for our littlest to be running around it with his two big sisters.

Great place to recharge

Our lodge was clean and had all the essentials, including a dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer and microwave. We were even supplied with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and washing machine tablets. Our hot tub was checked daily.

Fabulous lodge, clean and plenty of kitchen appliances to cook with.

Lodge was lovely, clean, fresh and beds were comfortable. Hot tub was warm and checked daily. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need, dishwasher, full sized freezer and a washing machine. Oven was electric and cooked food brilliantly!

Amazing house. Nice and warm, very clean and comfy and great facilities for families with teens - the pool table, large tv and hot tub. Great outdoor facilities and space in the big kitchen/diner to have everyone round for food and games.

We came for new year and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The lodge was lovely , clean and exactly what we needed. The park on site was great for kids and the area was gorgeous. Site was quiet and tranquil and just what was needed. Would definitely return! Also had a little shop on site which was handy for if you’ve forgotten a couple of essentials!

We had an amazing Christmas break, the lodge itself was beautiful, immaculately clean and we were blown away by the amount of crockery, knives, glasses etc available. On our last day the boiler broke and we had no heating or hot water, which meant the baby couldn’t have a bath.. after trying to reset the boiler ourselves, we called for help (6pm on Boxing Day) within an hour a plumber had been called and the boiler was fixed. We will definitely return.

Fantastic location and accommodation top Notch

Brilliant, the lodge was fantastic, enjoyed using the hot tub.The setting was wonderful and the views really nice. Very comfortable.A very enjoyable relaxing stay.

Myself and my family had a lovely time. The Manor house is warm and comfortable with a homely feel. The pool table is great entertainment for rainy days and the hot tub has a very private feel in a big open garden. Bala is a beautiful place with lots to see. We will be back.

My family and I had an amazing week in Bala. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, it was spacious & had plenty of storage and room for the kids to run around. It was very clean upon arrival too. The hot tub was also a huge hit, and the staff came round every morning (very polite) to test the water. The scenery was lovely. There wasn’t a great deal for children on the site but there was a games room which featured a pool table, ping pong table, seating area and TV for entertainment. We did have to venture a bit of a distance to get to beaches/ activities etc but it was definitely worth the money. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful lodge better than expected .

Great holiday, very relaxing. Perfect for our family - 2 parents, 2 adult children, a 12 year old and our dog. We could just chill and everyone loved the hot tub. Park itself was very clean and tidy and the other customers were all very nice and polite - no rowdy parties. We would definitely go again.

We loved our holiday here

Had a lovely stay at Pen Y Garth lodges with 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. The park is a lovely peaceful park with a children play area and indoor games room along with a small shop for essentials. The park is a great base to explore the local area with Bala Lake only 5 minutes away, along with Bala town with a number of pubs and shops. Barmouth beach is only 45 minutes drive away and is lovely for a visit.

Brilliant lodges, excellent venue, can say it was the best Park we've stayed on. Very impressed ?

A great break with kids with sufficient facilities on site to keep us occupied at night and close enough to many great locations such as Bala, Barmouth etc for great days out.

Lodge is absolutely beautiful, as is the site. It has everything you could possible need in the accommodation. Ideally situated for exploring all day, with the added bonus of the hot tub to chill after a long day. None of us wanted to come home.

Lovely luxurious lodges, beautiful surroundings very peaceful, Only issues I had were you can’t check in till 4.30 so the first day as gone and you have to be out by 9am far to early especially when you have to strip bedding, Put towels in laundry bags, empty all the bins as well as packing your car up and getting everyone fed and out by 9am, When I asked why they said due to cleaning and Covid etc it could take 3 hours per lodge to clean, which I do understand, but there was bags of water balloons from previous guests stuffed down the back of the side cabinet so not been cleaned / checked over properly. I wasn’t looking for anything to moan about I found them purely because we had problems with the Wi-Fi so I looked see we had the right plugs plugged in. Other than that it was a beautiful week in a beautiful Lodge - They just need to tweak the times of check in and check outs and it would be 10/10

This is a quiet, tranquil park - been a few times and will continue to visit.

Stayed in Lodge 53. Great as the hot tub is a but more secluded. The lodge was huge and had no issues. The park is well kept and has some amazing views. It's less than a 5 min drive into Bala. Would highly recommend this parc and will definitely be back.

Lovely park but could do with a little shop and maybe a bar/restaurant on as there’s not many places to eat the lodges themselves are excellent
