The room had a really unpleasant smell that just wouldn’t go away. We told staff and they just sprayed air freshener without looking for the real cause. The smell stayed all week, so we left a day early. Not impressed.

We loved this place! Perfect for relaxing and social distancing, stunning views, comfy stay and super dog-friendly. Can't wait to come back next year!

Overall, we had a good stay at the lodge. It was really well kitted out, though we did find ourselves missing a wooden spoon and spatula for cooking - small things, but handy! The main concern was the lack of a gate on the veranda; with young kids, we were a bit worried about the fast-moving river just beside us. We ended up flipping the patio table to create a barrier, which wasn’t ideal. That said, the place was comfy and spacious enough for our family of four, including preschoolers.

We had a really relaxing stay despite the constant rain. The lodge was lovely and those views are genuinely stunning. Admittedly, the cleanliness could have been better - underneath the sofa, the hob and the top of the wardrobe looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Still, we’d definitely return just for the scenery and peaceful vibe!

We loved Limefitt Park! The scenery is breathtaking and it's a short drive from Windermere-perfect for exploring the lakes area.

Weather was pretty grim, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our plans at all.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, it really exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless overall, though we did notice a few cobwebs around the ceilings and cupboards. The only downside was the heavy duvet on the double bed, which limited our comfort a bit. Still, we'd return!

After a tough year for our family, this was just what we needed - a perfect way to unwind and forget the stresses for a bit. Brilliant experience!

When we pulled up, we couldn’t believe our lodge was ready two hours early-such a nice surprise! We had originally booked the Great Gable Lodge but ended up in Patterdale Lodge instead and honestly, it felt like an upgrade. The place was super luxurious, well-equipped and really cosy. Every window offered breathtaking views of the hills and valley, which made it even better. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a bad spot on this park; they’re all set in such stunning locations. The park’s vibe is more about getting outdoors and exploring rather than nightlife, which suited us perfectly. The Hay Barn Inn was quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. With limited opening hours, it’s clear they’re aimed at relaxing visitors. We definitely plan to return in spring or summer-can’t wait to come back!

We found this place perfect for our family trip with the dog. The bar was a hit, serving tasty food and welcoming our furry friend. Conveniently close to Ambleside and Windermere, plus a gorgeous setting!

The lodge was spacious and had all the essentials we needed. While it was quite dusty in some spots, it didn’t bother us, though cleanliness might be a concern for others. Overall, quite a decent stay!

We had such a great time, honestly! Already booked for another trip, can’t wait to go back!

The place was lovely overall, but we struggled to find the oven controls and the jacuzzi switch at first. A bit more guidance would’ve helped, but still a great stay!

The holiday park is situated in a beautiful setting, stunning views all around. It would have been nice to have some more entertainment, pool on site. The restaurant was nice but rather pricey.

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Limefett Park. Our lodge was perfect. So much space for our family of 5 and we enjoyed sitting out on the decking too. Mandy in the restaurant took good care of us and it was nice to hear her chat with people who return several times a year to Limefett Park. The kids loved the play Park and running around in the sports field. While the centre doesn't offer a pool or 'entertainment' we felt that we didn't miss out on anything and enjoyed our family time playing games, chatting and exploring. With lots of places to visit nearby (most places we visited where within a 45 drive) it was a great base and offered so many great attractions.

Spent a lovely relaxing week at Limefitt. Had no problems whatsoever with accommodation, it was excellent, but there appeared to be adequate maintenance staff on site to quickly sort anything if necessary. The park is set in beautiful surroundings with easy access to local attractions if you have a car. Bus stop near site entrance with regular public transport and two nice pubs within easy walking distance. We used the Haybarn pub on site nearly every day for food or just drinks and the views from the beer garden are lovely. The site itself is well maintained and has a little shop stocked for essentials. It's very quiet but that suited us perfectly. I would definitely recommend and would happily book and stay there again.

Limefitt park is in beautiful settings the views are amazing our caravan (pinewood 18 ) was brilliant. the onsite pub-restaurant was good value and all the staff were really helpful and friendly i have recommended this site to friends and family

A perfect location for touring the area and some great walks both in the area and nearby. The accommodation was clean and provided plenty of facilities for cooking and relaxing at night. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Amazing surroundings. So peaceful, fantastic dog park, beautiful beck running through the site. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but are in close distance of many places to visit and amenities. Highly recommend.
