Limefitt Park

Wed definitely come back, peaceful spot, perfect base to see the lakes! Cheers!

Really enjoyed our time here! The place was spotless, had everything we needed and the hot tub was fab.

We just got back from a four-night stay at this cosy cottage and honestly, it was lovely! The owners are really friendly and helpful without being overbearing, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Wed happily come back and already recommend it to friends. Thanks for a great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay, wish we had booked for longer. The place was just so lovely and relaxing!

We had a lovely stay thanks to the owners, who were genuinely friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was adorable, with its charming half-timbered look and a nice, strong shower. The cosy kitchen and living area made it feel homey and the bed was super comfy. Parking right outside was a real bonus and everything was spotless. We enjoyed peaceful walks across the fields to Thaxted, which is full of lovely half-timbered houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed the stay, just wish it was a bit longer.

We stayed at this lovely cottage and honestly, it had everything we needed - we didn't have to pack much at all. The place is super well-equipped and the welcome pack was full of useful info and menus, which was a nice touch. The enclosed garden was a real bonus for our dogs and they absolutely loved it. The hot tub was fantastic after long days out. Sharon and RobeRead were quick to respond to any questions, which we appreciated. Thanks for a great break - well definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The place was spotless and peaceful. Hosts were super friendly. The hot tub was a real highlight and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog.

We had a lovely stay at this place, tucked away in a really peaceful spot. The owners were so friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but it still felt private and quiet. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - such a relaxing end to the day. A quick heads up though, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of noise from planes. It didn't bother us much after a while, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great find!

We loved our stay at the cottage! The setting was so serene, surrounded by lovely farml and and horses wandering about. The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Its perfect for anyone after a peaceful escape. Wed definitely come back again, really enjoyed it!

The owners were super friendly and helpful, especially when the storm knocked out the power. The cottage was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we had a great time using the hot tub!

We had a lovely stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped and the hot tub was a real treat!

The place was really roomy and spotless, with everything we needed. Only thing, hot water wasnt quite hot enough, sadly.

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! Its tucked away on a working farm, but super private and peaceful. Robert and Sharon are genuinely lovely hosts who made us feel really welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfy bed - slept like a dream. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded with nice furniture. There are loads of walks around and some top spots in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely come back!

We stayed at a lovely cottage run by such kind owners, honestly couldnt have asked for more. They were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. The place itself is adorable - a charming half-timbered house with a really good shower, a cosy kitchen and lounge and a super comfy bed. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus. Its well-heated, spotless and perfect for walks to Thaxted or exploring nearby villages with those classic timbered houses and windmills. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage nestled on a working farm, yet it felt surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely charming and welcoming. The place is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and with nice furniture to relax on. Loads of walks nearby and Thaxted has some good eateries like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely time wandering through the fields with the dogs. Truly relaxing day out!

The holiday park is situated in a beautiful setting, stunning views all around. It would have been nice to have some more entertainment, pool on site. The restaurant was nice but rather pricey.

First time at this park, could not fault it, facilities on site excellent and location perfect

Beautiful and clean park with amazing views

The most amazing stay with family!
The lodge was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Limefett Park.
Our lodge was perfect. So much space for our family of 5 and we enjoyed sitting out on the decking too.
Mandy in the restaurant took good care of us and it was nice to hear her chat with people who return several times a year to Limefett Park.
The kids loved the play Park and running around in the sports field.
While the centre doesn't offer a pool or 'entertainment' we felt that we didn't miss out on anything and enjoyed our family time playing games, chatting and exploring.
With lots of places to visit nearby (most places we visited where within a 45 drive) it was a great base and offered so many great attractions.

Spent a lovely relaxing week at Limefitt. Had no problems whatsoever with accommodation, it was excellent, but there appeared to be adequate maintenance staff on site to quickly sort anything if necessary. The park is set in beautiful surroundings with easy access to local attractions if you have a car. Bus stop near site entrance with regular public transport and two nice pubs within easy walking distance. We used the Haybarn pub on site nearly every day for food or just drinks and the views from the beer garden are lovely. The site itself is well maintained and has a little shop stocked for essentials. It's very quiet but that suited us perfectly. I would definitely recommend and would happily book and stay there again.

Relaxing holiday lodge was lovely views are beautiful, hay barn lovely food and staff pleasant.

Limefitt park is in beautiful settings the views are amazing our caravan (pinewood 18 ) was brilliant. the onsite pub-restaurant was good value and all the staff were really helpful and friendly i have recommended this site to friends and family

A perfect location for touring the area and some great walks both in the area and nearby. The accommodation was clean and provided plenty of facilities for cooking and relaxing at night. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Amazing surroundings. So peaceful, fantastic dog park, beautiful beck running through the site. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but are in close distance of many places to visit and amenities. Highly recommend.
