Honestly, this place is one of our favourite lodges so far. Everything from the tiny details to the big stuff feels carefully thought out. Rachael was fantastic with her communication-really couldn't have asked for better service. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this lodge, nestled in such a stunning spot. It’s really comfy and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The welcome pack was a sweet touch. Perfect base for exploring Cumbria! Only thing to watch out for is the rear garden, which isn’t fully secure - dog owners should keep an eye on their pups. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lodge. It’s super spacious, spotlessly clean and comfy - everything you need for a relaxing self-catering trip. Small touches like salt, pepper, milk and even washing up liquid with a sponge made it feel so thoughtful. WiFi was surprisingly good too, no buffering while streaming. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge. The location is perfect-away from the hustle but still close to Windermere and other spots. The lodge itself was spotless, super cosy and had all we needed. The hot tub was a lovely touch! Definitely a place we'd come back to. Truly a good place!

We had a really lovely weekend at this cabin. The facilities were top-notch, especially the hot tub which was fantastic. Everything was clean and well looked after. The staff were friendly and always on hand if we needed anything. Great stay!

Our stay at Salaamata Lodge had its ups and downs. The hot tub was fantastic and really helped us unwind after a long day. On the flip side, we were a bit let down by the cleanliness - pet hair on the sofa and cushions, dust everywhere and cobwebs on the ceilings that definitely took away from the cosy vibe. The amenities were great, but the dirtiness was a bit disappointing. Still, we enjoyed our time overall, but a clean-up would make a big difference for future guests!

We had such a lovely Christmas at this lodge with the kids! The place is really top-notch, spotless inside and out and it had everything we needed, especially a fully stocked kitchen. A big shoutout to Phil and Rachel-they truly go above and beyond in looking after guests. Honestly, their care is unmatched; other hotels could learn a thing or two from them. We’ll definitely be booking again, can’t wait to return! x

Honestly, we wouldn't recommend it. The hot tub had no cover, so bugs and creepy crawlies kept dropping in - not ideal. It rained pretty much nonstop during our stay and our car was in about five inches of water daily thanks to poor drainage. The place was covered in webs, bugs inside and the bathroom smelled mouldy. Plus, it’s way overpriced and not secure for dogs. Better to skip this one!

We had a fantastic stay! The lodge was modern, well equipped and perfect for our needs. The nearby pub served great food. Only downside was the access road, but the area around Grange over Sands is simply lovely.

We really enjoyed our time at Blenkett Wood. The cabins are super cosy, spotless and beautifully decorated. Loved the little extras like fresh milk, fluffy towels and tea & coffee - such nice touches! The location is perfect for exploring nearby small towns. We'll definitely return!
