The caravan we had was the same from 2 years ago and was in really good condition except for a bit of wear and tear but was rectified by a lovely tablecloth provided to hide the lifted laminate on the dining table

Rowan Bank is a quiet, small site. Just the place to relax. Miles of beach (a stones throw away) Local shops very rare, Asda and Tecsos within 20 miles, nearby pub with good food. Several places to visit for days out the Lakes, Hadrians wall and museums for all tastes.
Located 1 minute walk to beach, perfect for the dog. Site is very well kept and has bird feeders located around the site which attracts a lot of birds. Would have preferred one of the caravans with a veranda for the dog as they have to be kept on a lead. It is only a short drive into Silouth where there is a coop supermarket, pharmacy and chip shop. Good has for exploring the lakes and Northumberland. Would stay again. There is no WiFi or mobile signal, would be good if WiFi was available.
Campsite is quiet and handy for local areas of interest. We use the site as a base as it is handy for the Lakes, Cockermouth and Maryport. The beach is over the road and Silloth is a short drive for an evening constitutional.
very quiet and peasfull
Perfect setting, far enough out to get peace perfect peace. Close enough to go touring area. Lovely beach very close by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of information leaflets in caravan. Only thing i would change would be to have a wee shop
Great holiday
Lovely peaceful part of the lakes We enjoyed every day relaxing
