Great cleanliness, but too many little things cluttered the space.

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was charming and super comfy, nestled in a peaceful spot with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The farm was lovely and we enjoyed seeing the horses. The owners were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. Definitely a place to revisit for a quiet retreat!

We just got back from a lovely week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and was super cosy. The hosts made us feel really welcome and even though it’s on a working farm, it felt peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

We needed a proper break with the dog and this place ticked all the boxes. Lovely digs, nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for walks. Honestly, the dog didn’t want to leave at all!

We had such a lovely weekend stay! The place was perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our dogs were especially happy with the underfloor heating and the outdoor space - Luna was wagging her tail non-stop! Sadly, she strained it from all the excitement, but it was all worth it. We’ll definitely come back!

We stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and honestly, it was perfect for a relaxing break. The privacy is great, despite the farm setting and Robert and Sharon are lovely hosts who made us feel really welcome. The place itself is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed-big plus! The garden is private, dog-proof and nicely furnished. Loads of walks nearby and some cracking restaurants in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this place! The house was really well kitted out and kept us warm, which was perfect on a chilly, rainy day. The bath was fantastic and the shower was big enough to relax in. Being near a flight path didn’t bother us at all and it’s a dream spot for dogs avoiding fireworks. Beautifully converted and peaceful, we’d definitely come back. Thanks a lot!

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage has everything you could think of and the hosts are super friendly. Even being on a working farm, it feels so peaceful and calm. We loved it!

We stayed in the same caravan back in April and honestly, we noticed a drop in cleanliness. The kitchen utensils looked quite worn and had leftover food on them. The oven and grill pan were dirty too, so we decided not to use them at all. Bit disappointing really.

We stayed here for a week in July with our two mini daschund girls and they absolutely loved it. They made lots of new friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is really lovely and the hot tub was such a treat, especially during the hot weather-so refreshing! The hosts were super welcoming and it was nice to see their horses being taken out to the fields daily. Yes, it's near Stansted's flight path, but honestly, watching the planes land was quite fun. We’d definitely recommend it!

The caravan was really cosy, with beautiful sea views. Loved how it was tucked away from the busy clubhouse, yet still close enough to everything needed. Lovely stay!

Great park but depends what night yo go into eat what service you get on the monday and tuseday the staff in the eating area were very good cleaning tables as pepople moved to the show bar then on thursday the tables were not cleaned staff were chatting insted of working maybe just the shift manager

Good value for money. Enough facilities for what we needed. Although the park is quite vast, it didn’t seem overcrowded. Noise level was excellent Thanks for spotless accommodation too
