We stayed here for a week in July with our two mini dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage is charming and really well-kept, with the hot tub being a real highlight - especially during the hot weather, since it was cooled down and super refreshing. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel really welcome, which was a nice touch. Watching the planes land from the nearby flight path was surprisingly relaxing and the dogs loved making new friends in the village of Thaxted. We’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

The owners are genuinely lovely and went above and beyond when the storm knocked out the power. The place was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we really enjoyed the hot tub too!

We had a really lovely stay at this place! The setting is absolutely beautiful and very private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owners were super friendly and always ready to help if needed, but it never felt intrusive. The hot tub was such a treat after a day of cycling - really hit the spot. Only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is under the flight path at Stansted, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. Luckily, we got used to it quickly and it didn’t ruin our holiday at all. Definitely recommend!

We needed a quick escape for dog walking and this place was just perfect. Lovely accommodation, plenty of nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for exploring. Our dog loved it so much, she didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin; it felt really cosy and perfect for relaxing. The only minor downside was the view, which wasn’t great and it was quite close to the car park. Still, it was peaceful enough!

Robert and Sharon are genuinely lovely folks, making us feel really welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfy bed. The garden’s perfect for dogs, totally secluded and with nice furniture. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great restaurants - we especially enjoyed The Star and The Maypole. Overall, we’d definitely recommend it!

This was our second time visiting Ream Hills Holiday Park and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It’s an amazing break away in an amazing location! Staff are so helpful and friendly and we will definitely be returning in the future!

My stay at Ream hills was fab couldn’t fault a thing very private our lodge was spotless on arrival had everything we needed and to top it off we had a Christmas tree up it was so cosy we had the best time and will be back again 100%.

Lovely and relaxing lodge! Very spacious I just found in the bedroom side lights would be good,did miss that! Walk in wardrobe lovely,all very clean abd enjoyable. Cafe wasn't open in November!! No shops on site if u have forgotten anything!!
