The cottage was really nice, well furnished and had all the essentials. It was quite clean other than the very odd bit missed and some of the dishes that were there though I believe these are cleaned by the person that was staying previously so can't say it was because of the cleaning staff. If you're staying more than one week they do offer a cleaning service which is great. The only improvement I believe could be done is the mattress as it felt quite soft and you'd wake up every time the person next to you moved and the addition of a fan for the odd hot day, which we got a few.

We had a lovely time at Silver Birch Cottage. The lodge was lovely, it had a really nice view and there was lots to do in Llanrwst. We particularly loved Gwydir forest park which was just a short walk away.

Excellent place. Peaceful, lovely and quiet place. Easily reachable to all the wonderful scenic places. The lodge is very comfortable and feels like home.

We stayed at this place during a chilly December and honestly, it was perfect for our little getaway. The house was super cosy and well kitted out, which made all the difference on a rainy day. The bath was lovely and the big shower was a bonus. The location is great, especially if your dogs aren’t fans of fireworks - so peaceful! Thanks a lot, we’d come back.

Really enjoyed our stay, the place felt like home!

The cottage was absolutely lovely, tucked away in a peaceful spot. We loved unwinding in the hot tub after exploring nearby walks and village spots. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, making our stay really comfortable. We had such a great time!

The actual lodge itself needed some much TLC. Door handles falling off. Tap in sink coming off. Lots of marks on the walls, chairs dirty and falling apart. Lots of dust. The gym and 1 of the hot tubs wasn't in use and only found out by a sign in the window. The outside hot tub was warm and not much water in. The surrounding areas was beautiful. The views were stunning! We were constantly out doing things. Plenty of things to do near by. We very often stay in Hoseasons lodges and this was one of the more expensive but not the nicest.

We just got back from a great four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were super friendly but never intrusive, which was perfect. The big fenced garden was a bonus for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed and the hot tub was just brilliant-such a treat! We even enjoyed a BBQ one night. Definitely planning to come back and already told our friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!

The owners are genuinely friendly and went above and beyond when the storm knocked out the power, which was much appreciated. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped and really cosy. Our dog loved the secure garden and we loved the hot tub!

We needed a quick getaway for walking the dog and found this place absolutely perfect. Great accommodation, lovely pubs and eateries nearby and endless fields for off-road adventures. The dog didn’t want to leave either!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners are genuinely kind and helpful, making us feel right at home from the start. The place itself is beautifully kept, with a lovely cosy feel and spotlessly clean rooms. The shower is surprisingly powerful and the bed was super comfy-sleeping here was a real treat. Parking right outside was handy and the walks to Thaxted are perfect for a relaxing day out. We’ll definitely be back!
