All good but single beds would be too small for anyone over 6 foot tall

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for us to visit our family locally. I would happily book this lodge again in the future.

The layout of the 4 bed lodge was great. Travelling with my 91 year old mother, my sister and my daughter. We had a bedroom each and all rooms had access to a bathroom. The kitchen had everything you could want.

All was perfect Very comfortable

Very comfortable, 3rd stay here, lovely position near river Orwell in beautiful setting. Only complaint is the duvet's very lumpy, not hypoalergenic & are not warm enough in cold weather...otherwise excellent.

We have had a lovely family Christmas staying in Clover. It was beautifully clean and perfect for our needs. The one criticism I would have is that the kitchen was not particularly well stocked. No tins for Yorkshire puddings and insufficient serving dishes/bowls for eight people. However, we managed with what we had but a couple of larger bowls or serving dishes and pudding tins would have been a 5* for facilities.

Every thing you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. Great walks from site with pubs on route. Sadly the bar and restaurant was closed due to refurbishment which was a big blow.

The Ivy is a great lodge for 6 people. It has everything you need and is spacious and very comfortable.

We have stayed in many many lodges over the years and have to say this one was the best , waking up every day with the sun streaming through the windows in between the trees was very peaceful there are many places to visit locally with the Suffolk food barn a must ! We will definitely be returning in the new year to visit more places such a friendly helpful team of staff .

A nice lodge, not as big as some I've stayed in but it was okay.

Stayed during Covid which made it feel very different from previous stays in the past. I understand that things have had to be removed but only having 4 of everything i.e cups, plates, knives, forks etc made it a chore to have to keep washing them up between meals. Only 3 dishwasher tablets were provided so over a 3 night stay meant that we had to do this.

Great bank holiday. Beautifully clean and comfortable. V relaxing with helpful staff at checkin and st the onsite marina restaurant.

Overall an excellent holiday.

Lovely lodge. But we did move the furniture so that we could see through the window from the dinning table.
Needs some hooks on bathroom and bedroom doors

Great holiday location. Kids had an absolute blast and adults had loads of fun too.

I was very impressed with the oak lodge, super clean, everything up to date and so much storage. Nothing to fault at all about the lodge. Only negatives about the whole experience was we were not told that we wouldn't receive our local supplies, so in my eyes a little voucher for the restaurant instead would of been nice. Only other negative was whilst the lodge area was lovely there is not much to do there, so be prepared to travel out of woolvestone.

It’s such a luxury lodge and extremely spacious. The hot tub is brilliant and what you pay for really!! The location was nice and felt private too. I feel like it could have been cleaner as lots of cobwebs and dust and spiders!! Showers very weak but not important. Would recommend that a walk trail put in place as lovely location but no place to go for a nature walk.

Great relaxing time spent chilling with the family over the New Year.

Wonderful time had with our grandsons plenty of room for lounging and playing and a 49inch tv to watch all the favourite
Programmes.

When booking Maple for our holiday, we were impressed by what was on offer so we were extremely delighted upon arrival to discover that it even better than we had hoped for. There were so many extra little touches and things provided for our stay that it was like a home from home. We would highly recommend this beautiful lodge ????????

Had a lovely break here, lovely surroundings and beautiful lodge.

Lovely accommodation, spacious, clean and modern. Good size deck and parking for 2. Nice walks in the woods for my dog. Peaceful location but you have everything you need within 10-15 minutes drive. Ipswich old town is pretty and there are all the major supermarkets. In the next village, Chelmondiston there is a really good Chinese 'laws cottage' (cash only) Jimmy's farm and wildlife park was a really good trip out and its dog friendly. On site restaurant had a good selection of food including gluten free and vegan

Lovely location and lodges.

This is a great place to go for a relaxing break there only a few lodges set in a woodland with a short walk to the marina. Location is a little out of the way to visit tourist attractions but for the long weekend we did we managed to find a couple of places local

Great location very peaceful and relaxing, the view from the marina was lovely

Beautiful lodge in very peaceful location, they are installing new lodges so work is going on during the day time, but usually stopped by 4pm, we had a few water disruptions, so would advise buying in some bottled water as the drinking water wasn’t great ( discoloured) think this is due to the works going on. We had a few drinks at the marina bar / restaurant, prices a little higher than a local pub but to be expected. Several nice pubs just a few mins drive that serve good food & there is a handy little shop in the next village that has a butchers & lots of nice treats as well as essentials. Suffolk food hall & jimmys farm also close by. Good Chinese takeaway in the next village but CASH ONLY. & closest cash point is about 10 mins away.

Quite location, ideal for getting away from the everyday hustle and bustle of normal life, the lodge was amazing like a tardis,short stroll to the marina & restaurant 10/10

Lodge was very spacious, modern and very clean. Will definitely be back.
