We really enjoyed our stay in the caravan, especially the hot tub which was a lovely touch! The place was generally tidy and comfortable. However, we did notice a safety issue early on - a loose TV aerial cable running outside through a window, leaving it unsecured. It wasn’t sorted during our visit, which was a bit disappointing, especially since it’s meant to be family and pet friendly. Still, we had a good time overall!

We loved the location - it’s stunning and really peaceful. The accommodation was spotless, comfy and had everything we needed. The site itself is pretty basic in terms of facilities, but honestly, for what we wanted, it was perfect. Ladrum Bay, just a quick drive, has all the usual stuff if you need it and residents can use it too. We’re already thinking about booking again - it made our honeymoon really special!

Nice place overall, though a coffee table in the lounge would have been handy. Staff were friendly and the views lovely.

We often had to dine out because our kitchen wasn't set up, so finding this restaurant was a real lifesaver. The staff were genuinely lovely, super welcoming and the location was just so peaceful. Definitely a highlight!

The hot tub at Castle Point was a real highlight, we loved it!

We had a lovely four-night stay at Woodbury Woods. The place is so peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The location is spot on too, with easy drives to Topsham, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and Sidmouth. The van was spotless-almost lookin’ br and new! The staff were super friendly and really helpful. We enjoyed a drink and takeaway from the onsite bar/restaurant, which was a nice touch. Definitely planning to return, especially to see the breathtaking views at nearby Estuary View. Great holiday overall!

Really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere here.

Honestly, it’s a bit pricey for what you get. We couldn’t use the sister site because of the pool situation-definitely not ideal for older kids unless you go somewhere else. Would’ve been better without all the covid restrictions, but still nice to get away and soak up some sun.

The place is pretty new and quite nice overall. Outside could’ve been a bit cleaner, but I’d still recommend it and definitely go back again!

We had an absolutely lovely stay! The place was super peaceful and everything was spotless. Keeping the teenagers busy with cycling at Haldon Forest and go-karting nearby was a bonus. The hot tub was the perfect end to sunny days. We’ll definitely return!

We chose this place mainly because of the lockdown restrictions, knowing not much else was open. Honestly, it was just what we needed-great for the kids and the grown-ups too. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially for everyone to unwind. The staff members were really friendly and made us feel welcome, which was lovely. The food on site wasn’t quite up to the mark considering how much we paid, so we only ate there once. We spent most days exploring the local town and beaches, which were beautiful. One day, we even visited a farm and bought fresh produce to cook a meal ourselves-kids loved it! Overall, a proper nice week away after a tough year of lockdown.

Great stay overall, just wish the pillows were a bit more comfy.

A holiday we'll never forget!

We really enjoyed our stay here; it was perfect for us and our dog. The walks through the woods and across the big field were just fantastic for our furry friend. It’s so handy being close to places like Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Beer and Exmouth - plenty to see and do. After busy days out, unwinding in the hot tub was just what we needed. Definitely planning to come back soon!

Amazing weather, great accommodation, very clean, helpful staff nothing too much trouble, location good,easy to travel to other places,a good base,supermarket not far, but great shop on site with all your needs.

Great lodge on a lovely setting

What a fantastic week away. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The castle point accommodation was outstanding and we all loved the hot tub and the kids enjoyed the park onsite. We ate in the restaurant twice and the quality of the food was second to none Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay and can't wait to come back .

Woodbury Wods provided everything we wanted for our 4 night break - site is very quiet/clean and location is ideal to visit Topsham, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton etc etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very dog friendly and very clean. The hot tub was amazing and well looked after by the staff.

Lodge was very clean, fantastic views across the estuary. Would recommend Woodbury woods for a peaceful getaway. The lodge was a short drive to many different attractions, the hot tub was a bonus after a busy day exploring the area, it was checked twice a day once in the morning and again later in the day, staff are very welcoming, we would love to return in the future.
