Visitor Reviews of Highland Park

Dona, Huddersfield
modern, clean and comfortable cottage.
Nena, Southport
Cottage was very clean and modern and very cosy. Only think I would say is the knife could do with being sharpened I know its very minor. Overall fantastic.
Den, Glasgow
Well presented accommodation within a great location.
Caroline, East Lothian
Lovely cottage and very clean. 2nd bedroom a bit on the small side as door wouldn’t open fully, but property was immaculate.
Paul, Gb
Overall the accommodation was very good. Had everything a family would need for a week away in Scotland.
Kerrie, North Lincolnshire
I went with my husband and 2 children (5 and 19 months) We had a fantastic time. The cottage was stunning, plenty of room and had everything we needed, including free highchair/booster seat, cot bed and stairgate (only for ground floor) for the little one, so great that we didn't need to pack all those.
On the listing, it only describes a few things included in the cottage, believe me everything you need is there, iron/board, hairdryer etc. Smart tv in both lounge and bedroom to watch Netflix etc. Everything, absolutely a home from home.
It was also immaculate, in both décor and cleanliness.
I couldn't pick fault at all, it really was perfect and we didn't want to leave.
Morag, Glasgow
The nicest holiday cottage I have ever stayed in. Really lovely.
Helen, Lancashire
A beautiful cottage in a stunning location! The accommodation itself was very nice and well kept. Killin is beautiful and perfect for exploring the Trossachs. With 3 children from 14 to 6, it was a long drive out to the various attractions they wanted to see. It's a very scenic but hour long drive to Stirling. We also had some issues accessing the property on arrival as we weren't sent the instructions on how to receive the key. We eventually found a telephone number on our original invoice and it was sorted over the phone. There also was no linen provided for the sofa bed but we rang the emergency number and this was brought over, along with some wine and shortbread as an apology, which was very thoughtful. Overall, we had a lovely time. A little remote for us with our children in tow but of we were purely on a walking holiday it would have been ideal.
Christopher
Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!
Emma
Beautiful cottage with hot tub and log burner. lovely hosts, peaceful, perfect for our mini break. Hope to return for longer soon!

It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

The owners Rob & Sharon, have gone to a great deal of work to sympathetically convert this historic building & we couldn't have had a warmer greeting from them both & of course Bonnie. Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. Kerry
Cottage overall was in excellent condition. There were a few places that had been missed when cleaned but overall was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty towels had been supplied. Agree with previous comment regarding a sharp knife as there were none.
Pamela
Lovely accommodation with plenty walks nearby
Maureen
Lovely house, very modern. Home from home.
Sam
Lovely accommodation, very modern and contemporary. Great location for exploring beautiful Scotland, would definitely recommend.
Kerrie
Killin itself is a lovely place, and the Falls of Dochart were stunning. However depending on what you are going for, to get to most places it's an hours drive. We didn't mind it, but something to bear in mind. The day before our visit I was called by a member of staff, Sue. She was super helpful and even recommended places to visit.
Paul
Overall the accommodation was very good. Had everything a family would need for a week away in Scotland.
Diane
Lovely home from home in a beautiful part of our stunning country. Everything you need for your stay is there. It’s a pet friendly house and was clean but not spotless. The en-suite is spacious but the shower didn’t drain very quickly. On inspection it was clogged with hair. Lovely walks right on the doorstep and plenty eateries around. We had a great time and tried to book an extra night but it was fully booked. Highly recommended.
Lorna
Fabulous holiday home. Everything just perfect. Killin is a beautiful place . Lots of walking and activities. Weather was perfect which was an added bonus. Would definitely return. Staff were excellent.
