you need to go and experence it for yourselfs as you wont be dissapointed we took 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 11 they had a blast loved the slide in the pool and the swimming my only worry was access to the park its self if you dont have a car its expencive to go into town £20 return fare alot of money off your spends perhaps the place needs to see if they can get a bus route to come into the park or nearby

Date of stay: 21st April 2017
Overall the caravan was nice and clean and very lovely decorated. In our party we had people with mobility difficulties so it was nice to have a caravan suited to our needs. Also very close to the facilities so it suited us well. The only issue we had was that we pulled one of the beds away in the twin room to get to the heater on the first night to find lots of rubbish left by previous occupants as well as lots of dust etc. This had clearly not been cleaned in quite some time so we had to clean it up ourselves. Apart from that, the caravan was lovely and it would definetly be a good choice for further stays.

Date of stay: 31st October 2015
Our caravan was really good and came really well equipped. The caravan also had an outdoor decking area and this would have been great in the summer as the weather did restrict it's use a little. The caravan came with central heating which warmed the place up really well when it got chilly of an evening. It really was a home from home
Claire, Wigan

Date of stay: 20th July 2015
As I said very nice site but checkin at 4pm and check out at 10 pm not good and restraunt for food and drinks very expensive think it was an expensive holiday between hiring the van and buying soft / alcohol drinks at bar feel the accommodation could be a bit cheaper as it's not a massive site like some of the other sites we have visited but it is a nice site thanx Angela

Accommodation was outstanding, master bedroom, twin room, wet room (huge) and everything you need in the kitchen area. Living space with dining table, t.v. music system with docking station, d.v.d.. hoover iron, the whole works. Great value for money. We had my partly disabled mother with us and this van was perfect. Beds were one of the most comfortable I have experienced. Just cant find fault at all.

Excellent value for money, caravan provided heating in all rooms, extra plates, pans and cutlery.
Bedding was exceptionally clean 5 people stayed in our party including 2 youngsters and we found the caravan to be roomy enough for us all.

Date of stay: 1st August 2014
The facilities were adequate for our needs as we were using the site as a base and travelling to Glasgow. The days we spent at the site were enjoyable and relaxing, and the site is close to Ayr for the beach and entertainment.

Date of stay: 11th July 2014
Caravan was absolutely lovely. Very clean, and smelled fresh. Site however wasn't so tidy and clean...rubbish lying around, overflowing bins in park, swimming pool changing rooms, and werent emptied until a couple of days later...things on the menu were unavailable at the beginning of service. Surroundings were lovely though, and it wasn't far to take a trip into ayr which had loads for the kids to do...much better entertainment than what is offered on site
Kathryn, Newtownards

Claire, Glasgow
Date of stay: 14th April 2014
Good weekend break, clean safe park, only 2 things i would like to see improved, first more staff on the bar because ques were really long every time and more activities indoors because the weather was really bad all weekend and we struggled to keep a 1, 3, 9 and 10 year old entertained. maybe a small soft play for toddlers?
Elizabeth, Leven Fife
Date of stay: 5th April 2014
had a lovely time fuses blew one night staff very helpful .grill on gas cooker kept going out and toaster blew fuses so no toast but apart from that we had a great time.

Date of stay: 4th April 2014
Lovely little place would recommend nice a quite x
Margaret
Had a great time will be going back to the same site.
Michael
Great place lovely caravan
Keith
Nice van. There is a second way of getting there through a village marked as a dead end. It isn't but there is massive speed bump liable to take your sump off! SatNav gives it as a route, be warned.
Nicola
It’s a very small site. Very clean, even when full it doesn’t feel busy. Lovely pool which was immaculate every time we went swimming. The kids loved the kids entertainment, lots of grown ups happy to get involved too which was great to see. We had a great time and would definitely consider going back.
Stephen
Great park.staff were very helpful
Rebecca
Excellent family holiday. Lots to do for children on those rainy uk days.
Stephanie
Lovely, quiet caravan site and very safe for the children. Caravan was very nice.

Fun Days Out near Sundrum Castle

about 12 Miles
The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.
about 25 Miles
James Hamilton Heritage Park has been awarded 4 Stars by the prestigious Visit Scotland Board and is a must visit attraction if you are in the area. The site features a gorgeous 16acre loch offering an exciting range of watersports including Canoeing and Windsurfing. Children and adults can enjoy taster sessions of most activities. The site also has two adventure playgrounds and a fleet of fun boats. The area is also abundant with wildlife and has a Bird Sanctuary.
about 30 Miles
M&D's, Scotland's Family Theme Park is a "must do" day out if you are in the Strathclyde region. The fun attraction is set within 20 acres of beautiful Country Park and offers rides, shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Besides the outdoor rides the site is also home to Amazonia - Scotland's only indoor Tropical Rainforest where visitors can meet loads of exotic animals. There is also a large indoor soft play area and an amazing glow in the dark bowling alley, so plenty to do if the weather is bad. During December Scotland's largest Grotto with animated Christmas scenes can also be enjoyed.
