Superb almost brand new lodge very well equipped and a good spot on the site.
Janet, Glasgow
Date of stay: 16th April 2018
The caravan was good and spacious, the beds were comfy. The interiors were quite dated and one of the stools were broken, although the van looked clean further inspection found a few items of clothes left from previous guests and hair in the shower. I put this down to the park being full and not getting enough time to clean properly (we had to wait an extra hour to get our keys as the cleaners were taking long). However staff were great at sorting it.

Date of stay: 25th September 2017
As said before the only problem with the caravan was the very steep steps down to is - apart from that it was a very clean well maintained caravan
George
Date of stay: 15th September 2017
Very well appointed caravan but the mattress was not clean and there was no mattress protector - the mattress needs cleaning and, as a suggestion, a mattress protector should be placed on the bed in future. We had a really pleasant stay and would definitely stay again. My comment about the mattress is not a criticism, but I wanted to comment about it so the owners are aware and can make the improvement if they wish.
Gail, Armadale
Date of stay: 8th September 2017
Great homely caravan with great space and was spotless when we arrived. Although we were at the top of the caravan park, it was a short two minute walk to the shop and entertainment complex which was essential having two young children with us.
Richard, Norwich
Date of stay: 1st September 2017
The caravan was warm and well presented (apart from a bit of cosmetic damage on a wall).
As with most caravans, there wasn't much hanging space for coats or wet towels. We did have the advantage of an iron and board plus a vacuum cleaner. The doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit sticky to open.
2 lights were flickering, which we reported, but tge maintenance team said they didn't have those particular bulbs in stock. He took them out and left the sockets empty. We still had enough light to see though.
Caroline
Date of stay: 26th August 2017

Date of stay: 7th April 2017
Only problem we had in the lodge was the poor boiler. To get hot water for a bath, I had to change the setting to service only hot water, then change it back to service the radiators. Minor problem and wasn't detrimental to our stay

Beverley, Castle Douglas
Date of stay: 2nd November 2015
Enjoyed staying in the Bruce caravan, really well equipped and clean however let down by the Venue. It was dirty, tables sitting with food and drink and when finally cleared not wiped down. It was to noisy to sit in the showbar as the mics seemed to be at full blast along with 30 screaming kids, it was not a pleasure and we would have sat in the bar and grill however with no notice it was closed so caravan owners could have a Halloween party and when we were in for lunch kids were running free screaming and annoying other people whilst the parent's were sat drinking wine.
As it was end of season we didn't have high expectations but the site couldn't even meet that. Shame as we enjoyed the caravan but we wont be back.
Matthew, York
Date of stay: 30th October 2015

James, Stevenston
Date of stay: 16th October 2015
the caravan was well laid out had everything you could want or need it was like a little home from home.
Christine, Paisley
Date of stay: 28th September 2015
Really wanted a lodge but none available. On arrival at reception heard another customer get a FREE UPDRADE to a lodge and he was estactic as I would be. When I asked was there any more available as I would have preferred and paid for the lodge was told whole site full and felt cut off. We were then put really far away from the main area and with really steep steps. Thankfully we were all mobile .
Marjory, West Midlands
Date of stay: 18th September 2015
Very nice caravan in a small section of 7 vans. Had to have the kitchen tap repaired. I cannot understand why people to not take care of other people's property.

All round a very clean caravan it was worth waiting for.
Iain
Date of stay: 17th July 2015
This was a smashing wee caravan that suited our purposes perfectly however it didn't exactly have the vista's that you'd expect with being in Scotland due to the location within the caravan park. However there were other caravans on the site that would have draw dropping views across the lochs....... just luck of the draw I suppose.
Leanne
Date of stay: 6th July 2015
Absolutely stunning lodge, we were very pleased with it - gorgeous relaxing location! Only bummer was the walk up to the club, only takes 5 mins but is very steep & could be challenging for older ones of small kids. But for us it was worth it & we will be returning next year :) thank you!
Frances, Newton Mearns Glasgow
Date of stay: 22nd May 2015
Beautiful caravan with everything you could need...the caravan was spotless and very comfortable....the location of our caravan was great overlooking the bay and hills the view was stunning.....had a great stay also dog loved it as well..only downside was the hill to get to the park...for this park you really need a car as there is very limited facilities in Weymms Bay....and especially if you have a dog as you can not go inside the venue....be okay in summer if you can sit out in beer garden but not when it is raining as it did a lot of the time we were there in May...
June, Irvine Ayrshire
Date of stay: 4th May 2015
Caravan was spotless and had everything we needed
Amanda, Livingston
Date of stay: 13th April 2015
Immacualte and well stocked although it is worth noring that this caravan does not have patio furniture with it.
Samantha, Silsden
Date of stay: 10th April 2015
Excellent - the best caravan we have ever stayed in, with a nice little balcony to eat/sit out on. We are a family of four and the two toilets/showers in the caravan were very welcome. Spacious, no bad smells of previous occupants and nice kitchen facilities (although I would take my own sharp vegetable knife if I went again).

We were here with our grandaughter who loved it. Caravan was much bigger than expected and good play area for the wee yin. I used to come here as a child so great to see a lot of improvements made.
Neil, Falkirk
Date of stay: 8th September 2014
Views from caravan amazing, restaurant and bar excellent! Shop onsite has everything you will need. Plenty to do in the area, a car would be an advantage but local bus service(although we didn't use it) seems regular and adequate.
Stephen, Tamworth
Date of stay: 5th September 2014
Found Wemyss Bay to be a really nice park. The accomodation was much better than we expected for a caravan used for pets. The Scott caravan was spotless and all the staff we spoke to were extremely polite and helpful.

Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
We had a fantastic holiday. The caravan was furnished with many homely touches and was very clean and comfortable, a real home from home, and the view was superb. It is the best van we have ever hired. We enjoyed visiting Livingstone's Bar in the evening for a meal which was very good value and well cooked. The site was well placed for visiting. Especially with the train station and ferry terminal being right opposite the gates. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this site to anyone.
Katy, Lytham St Annes
Date of stay: 1st August 2014
The caravan was cosy and comfy. The facilities were as expected for such a park. The views were the best thing about this park.
Madeleine, Liverpool
Date of stay: 1st August 2014
Caravan was great, no complaints. Site and facilities not really my thing so didn't really use.

More re-cycling bins needed with better information of where they are.
Elzbieta, Morecambe
Date of stay: 26th July 2014
Excellent holiday, however very little to do for todlers and younger kids. The place itself - very nice, but also huge and crowded. Not recommended for people who are looking for a quiet, cosy place for their holiday. Accommodation - clean and tidy; all fine.
Sherida, Falkiek

Good last minute break away for us as a family, very cheap compared to other parks for the same weekend . Would recommend :)

Andrew, Manchster
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
I have given good marks above but there were some areas where the holiday park let itself down. Waiting time having ordered food was inexplicably long. My 7 year old had popcorn in the showbar on our first night and she wanted it every other night but they had run out - ridiculous. On Wednesday she wanted a toy from Sid and Lizzies cupboard but we had no cash and it was late so we promised she could have it tomorrow - our last night. However, the cupboard was never opened. I asked and it seems 1 person ran it and she wasn't in. Really enjoyed the holiday and would
go back but how can you run out of popcorn and not restock in 3 days and how can you not open the toy cupboard on what must be many visitors last night?
Catherine, Haverfordwest
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
We loved our stay in the caravan. It was spacious even for 6 people! The location was excellent and the facilities at the park were brilliant for the children.
Catherine
How lovely was my short stay. Staff are exceptional without a doubt. A small hiccup was resolved to my delight. Great holiday and I am fussy!
Charlotte
Very nice caravan was also pleased with the site not too far to walk from bus stop.
Janet
The park is spotless, caravans are well maintained and the costomer service is fantastic! Good range of activities for kids from babies to teens and nice entertainment every night. Lovely kids park and beer garden set out with panoramic views over the clyde and Rothsay. The only thing i would say is that the resturaunt was over priced and the food wasnt that great.
Kim
We had a fantastic holiday, my son has Autism and the staff were amazing as were the other guests, first time away since getting divorced 4 years ago and can't wait to come back.
Matthew
Great lodge and friendly staff

Fun Days Out near Wemyss Bay

about 24 Miles

This living museum portrays the harsh life inside of a 19th century prison. Travel back in history on a darkly fascinating journey into life in a Victorian prison. In a time when petty theft could have you branded with a hot iron! Watch courtroom trials, talk to the prisoners and see what it was like being locked up in jail. You can also take the ghost tour. Live actors bring the setting to life.

about 27 Miles
The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.
about 28 Miles
James Hamilton Heritage Park has been awarded 4 Stars by the prestigious Visit Scotland Board and is a must visit attraction if you are in the area. The site features a gorgeous 16acre loch offering an exciting range of watersports including Canoeing and Windsurfing. Children and adults can enjoy taster sessions of most activities. The site also has two adventure playgrounds and a fleet of fun boats. The area is also abundant with wildlife and has a Bird Sanctuary.
about 33 Miles
M&D's, Scotland's Family Theme Park is a "must do" day out if you are in the Strathclyde region. The fun attraction is set within 20 acres of beautiful Country Park and offers rides, shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Besides the outdoor rides the site is also home to Amazonia - Scotland's only indoor Tropical Rainforest where visitors can meet loads of exotic animals. There is also a large indoor soft play area and an amazing glow in the dark bowling alley, so plenty to do if the weather is bad. During December Scotland's largest Grotto with animated Christmas scenes can also be enjoyed.
