We had such a great time! The lodge by the river was perfect-serene and stunning. Everything we needed was there, plus a lovely welcome pack. Relaxing in the hot tub with that view was definitely the cherry on top. Can't wait to return; it was just what we needed for some proper R&R!

We had a lovely stay and definitely plan to come back. Next time, we’re aiming for spring or summer so we can explore those more daring hikes nearby. That said, winter was still perfect for us to relax, reset and enjoy quality family time. The dogs absolutely loved it too - they were in their element! We really didn’t want to leave.

Overall, we had a good stay. The lodge was quite clean, though a few areas showed signs of wear. It’s a bit tired and could do with some fresh paint and varnish, but nothing major. Nice enough!

We had such a cosy stay here! The location is stunning, especially the drive to Fort Augustus - really breathtaking scenery. The lodge might be a bit on the small side compared to others, but the beds were super comfy and we appreciated the extra touches like the bed linen, towels and kitchen supplies. It’s rare to find a place with everything from washing up liquid to oven gloves included, so that was a real bonus. The sofa was lovely to sink into after a day out, especially with the view from the window. Water pressure and temperature were spot on, which is always a plus. The bath was a bit bouncy when standing in the shower if you’re a bigger person like me, but that’s personal really. Loved that they refresh the hot tub for each guest - very thoughtful. We grabbed some food on the way, but forgot bread, though we found some at the petrol station in Fort Augustus - bit pricey. Definitely don’t miss the Falls of Foyers, just a quick 10-minute drive, but watch out for kamikaze grouse! The pub up the hill is a lovely spot with great food, just a couple of minutes’ walk. Would come back for sure!

The sofa in the lounge isn’t the most comfy, but honestly, we didn’t mind too much. The lodge’s location was perfect for our honeymoon - super secluded, cosy and warm. The hot tub was a real highlight for unwinding after busy days. We had a lovely time, thanks!

Honestly, we were quite disappointed with this place. The lodge wasn't anywhere near the luxury vibe we expected. The laminate flooring was peeling off the kitchen cupboards, which was a bit grim. The website claimed it was family-friendly, but there was no wifi for the teenagers and nothing on-site either-no board games or anything, despite what was advertised. We tried the hot tub, but the robe had someone else's tissue in the pocket, which was pretty gross. It's miles from anywhere and the wifi was patchy at best. We spoke to staff about the kitchen repairs and they said they were already working on some lodges. For what we paid, it was just not worth it. We definitely wouldn’t come back here.

We loved the lodge - super cosy and charming. The remote spot meant total peace, only reachable by car, which was just what we needed for a quiet break. We day-tripped to Loch Ness and had a blast sledging in the Cairngorms. Already planning our next trip!

We had such a lovely stay! The cabin was truly stunning, with breathtaking views that made every morning special. The kids loved chilling in the hot tub, especially watching the sheep graze nearby - it’s such a peaceful place. The place felt super cosy, well-equipped and beautifully decorated with nice little touches. Honestly, we couldn’t find any faults. If you're after a calm, relaxing break, we’d definitely recommend this spot. We’d love to come back!

Date of stay: 4th November 2023
The lodge was stunning, super clean and had everything we needed. The WiFi and phone signal were pretty weak unless we headed near the hot tub, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our stay. The view was amazing and it felt so private, loved it!

We stayed at Glen Mhor Lodge recently and honestly, it was lovely. The place was spotless when we arrived and the hot tub was kept really clean, checked daily which was great. The inside felt spacious enough for us, our dog and all our stuff. The beds were super comfy, so we had some really good sleeps. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, which made things so much easier. Also, the welcome pack was a sweet touch. Outside, the grounds were gorgeous - perfect for the dog to chill out and watch the birds. If I had to pick a tiny downside, the lounge chairs weren’t the most comfy, but cushions sorted that. We’d definitely come back!

During our stay, we noticed the bath was quite difficult to drain and the sink was the same. We had to use our hands as a makeshift plunger to clear the bath a bit. The four-slice toaster only worked on the left side, but other than that, the place was tidy and had all we needed. Not perfect, but okay.
Jacqui
Beautiful location, amazing views with spacious clean accommodation. Bed was so comfy! Showers not the most powerful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Site does benefit from nearby pub for evening meals, which are very large portions.
VANESSA
What a lovely place to stay. Helpful staff, Beautiful surroundings, Hot tub a fantastic bonus. We felt so relaxed for the whole time we spent there. I would definitely recommend this place.
Aileen
Thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night break to recharge our batteries, hot tub, hotel within walking distance, lovely scenery for walking and best of all very little phone signal - sheer bliss ?
