Great caravan, spacious and well-designed. Perfect for families with kids, highly recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob and Sharon have really put a lot of effort into transforming this historic building sympathetically and it shows. They gave us a warm welcome, along with their adorable dog Bonnie. The place is perfect for relaxing and the location in Essex is ideal for exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages. Definitely worth taking some time to wander around and soak in the history and charming architecture. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this cosy cottage and loved the peaceful vibe, especially relaxing in the hot tub. Just a heads up, there are night flights from Stansted nearby.

We loved staying here! The peaceful countryside setting was just what we needed. The courtyard was lovely and the hot-tub made everything feel extra special. Perfect for relaxing walks too!

We stayed at this place and honestly, it’s a gem! The house is super well equipped and kept us cosy, especially on that drizzly December day. The bath is so relaxing and the shower is really spacious. Being on a flight path didn’t bother us at all, which was a relief. Perfect for dogs wary of fireworks, surrounded by nature. Thanks a lot for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage is tucked away in a really peaceful spot, perfect for some quiet time. The owners were super friendly and made us feel welcome, always happy to help if needed, without intruding on our privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after our cycling adventures. Just a heads up, it’s right under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us much once we got used to it, but might be something to consider if noise bothers you. Overall, a great place!

Honestly, the park was a bit cramped considering how many visitors there are, so we didn’t really feel like using the pool or indoor activities because of social distancing worries. That said, our caravan was lovely - spotless, roomy and well-equipped. The grounds were tidy too and everyone we spoke to was super friendly. Overall, a decent stay!

We found the park a bit crowded, so using the pool and indoor areas felt a bit awkward with social distancing concerns. On the bright side, our caravan was spotless, roomy and had everything we needed. The grounds were tidy and everyone we talked to was genuinely friendly. All in all, a decent stay despite the busy vibe!
