The van was spotless overall, just a bit greasy around the cooker and some plastic cups. Easy to overlook, but everything else was pretty much flawless. Would rent again!

The caravan really needs a refresh; the oven kept cutting out and the sofa bed had an odd smell. Not great.

Challaborough Bay is a lovely spot with stunning sea views. The caravan was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The only downside is the location-it's on a steep hill, which makes it tricky for anyone in a wheelchair, with mobility issues, or pushing a pram. Still, overall, a nice place to stay!

Honestly, our stay was pretty frustrating. The coffee table was missing, the fridge door was busted and we couldn’t use the broken cooker knob. No WiFi either, even after paying for it. Not impressed.

Even though the chip shop was shut and we didn’t dine in, the caravan was super comfy and cosy! Lovely stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by this van! It’s really roomy and spotless, which was great. The only thing was the microwave-quite tricky to use. Apart from that, we couldn’t find any faults at all.

The camp's okay, but the entrance is a bit of a nightmare with larger vehicles. Single lane tracks get clogged up easily, especially when busy. Could do with some better traffic management, honestly.

Honestly, the van’s location was a nightmare. We had to deal with workers messing around fixing the heating and roof while we just wanted to chill. It really spoiled our stay, such a shame.

This was our second trip here, so we knew what to expect. We really enjoy how peaceful it is away from the hustle and bustle of town. This time, we brought all our food with us, so no extra shopping was needed. Definitely a lovely spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at the caravan. It was super modern and spotless, with handy amenities like a washer dryer. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and amenities we wanted to visit. The water was incredibly hot and the showers definitely beat our home ones! It was well-stocked with pots and pans, which made cooking a breeze. The only tiny gripe was missing a hoover - sweeping up the sand daily got a bit tedious, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Overall, we’d happily recommend it, though the price hike due to COVID did surprise us a bit.

We really enjoyed our stay, but the restaurant's closing time was a bit of a letdown. They said orders could be taken until 9pm, yet when we tried at 8.50pm, we were told the kitchen was closed. The takeaway was also unavailable that evening, so we were stuck without options nearby. Bit frustrating!

We enjoyed a peaceful short break in a lovely setting. The outside seating by the bar was nice, though the entrance road is a bit too narrow for comfort.

The caravan was spotless, way better than I expected for a pet-friendly place.

We booked a last-minute trip and absolutely loved Challaborough Bay. The scenery is stunning and everyone we met was really friendly and courteous. The accommodation was spotless and comfy, making our stay even better. We’re already thinking of returning someday-thanks for the great memories!

We had a lovely stay! The scenery was stunning and the staff were genuinely friendly and passionate about the dogs. The convenience of the on-site restaurant and shop was brilliant. Plenty to do around and we'd definitely return. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

The caravan was really modern and spotless, which we appreciated. The shower was a bit tight, but it worked fine. We did miss having more bowls and basins for cooking. Some hooks on the doors would’ve been handy too.

Was a lovely break, plenty of country walks and places near by to visit, caravan was better then advertised ,peaceful back to nature break.

Brilliant quiet holiday in a fabulous setting

Excellent location,we had a throughly enjoyable holiday. We would definitely come here again.

Childrens entertainment was not on when we went to see it, however staff were friendly throughout holiday. Used the pool, which was simple but a good temperature. Hot tub was cold. Spent most of our time on the beach. My son loved boating. Had a lovely time.

A wonderful location. A clean, safe beach with gently shelving sand making it ideal for kids - the small stream trickling down the sand meant hours of fun. Great rock pools at low tide & kayak, paddleboards etc for hire. Our caravan was clean, well-maintained and well equipped. Hilltop location meant a short walk down the hill, but the out-of-the-way location meant peaceful surroundings. The indoor swimming pool was excellent, friendly, professional staff greeted us & it was clean & well maintained, with family-friendly changing. Due to the perfect weather, we spent every day on the beach & didn't venture far, apart from the short cliff walk over to Bigbury Beach / Burgh Island - a "must" for all holidaymakers. The only (minor) issue are the VERY narrow access roads, but most people are patient, take their turn at reversing / pulling in to passing places & we only used it to come in & out from the holiday. A good well-stocked supermarket on site meant we didn't want for anything. we didn't use the food outlets on site, so can't comment (but they were busy)

We booked last minute for a dog friendly caravan so we weren’t expecting the highest standard, we were pleasantly surprised! Lovely caravan (Cormorant) in a great location (Seashore), washer drier was a bonus and lovely veranda. We didn’t use the restaurant or pool so can’t comment on that but chip shop was lovely and clubhouse clean. We also couldn’t use the beach onsite due to no dogs May- September, this is the only downside I think it’s a big enough beach to offer one area as dog friendly especially as you offer dog friendly caravans! However the beach at Bigbury on Sea has dog friendly areas so we used that. Have read reviews of those complaining about the narrow lane to drive down to the site- you’re in Devon and not London now narrow lanes are everywhere in the countryside just drive slow and be prepared to have to reverse if you meet oncoming traffic. We have a SUV and managed just fine!
