We recently booked a week at this place and honestly, it was pretty disappointing considering the price. We paid over £2,000 for what we thought would be a lovely staycation in a nice caravan, especially since the online pics looked fantastic. The location is brilliant - close to beaches, pubs, shopping - so that was a big plus. But once we arrived, things took a turn for the worse. For starters, we were hit with a £35 charge for our second car, despite the confirmation email saying it would only be £18.75. That was a bit of a shock. The Wi-Fi situation was also a mess. The email promised Wi-Fi in the caravan, but when we tried to use it, it was either off or so slow and crowded that it was pointless. You could pay £20 for a week’s internet, but that apparently doesn’t even work properly in the caravans, so we didn’t bother. The caravan itself was a mixed bag. The eight-berth unit was fairly clean on arrival and there was plenty of cutlery, which was good. But the mattress on the living room bed was non-existent - honestly, it was that bad we just slept on the sofa instead. The smell was fresh and the porch area was nice, but it could do with a gate to stop pets or little ones from escaping, especially since lots of people had dogs with them. Speaking of the site, it’s all cashless - which is not mentioned anywhere online, so we weren’t prepared. The shop sometimes accepts cash, but it depends if their tills are working. Food prices are sky-high and honestly, the quality was rubbish. We ate at the clubhouse on the first night and it was the worst £123 we’ve ever spent. Everything was frozen, just slapped on plates. Drinks are also expensive - £4.50 for a watered-down coke! We were supposed to get a welcome pack when we arrived, but never saw one. Entertainment-wise, there’s family and adult bingo outside, but to get a seat, you need to be there by 4 pm - which is a pain. The indoor clubhouse has evening entertainment too, but it’s so loud you’d need to shout to be heard, making eating and chatting tricky. On the bright side, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, which is good for families. Still, overall, I don’t think this holiday was worth the hefty price tag. We’ve stayed at White Acres a few years back and that was a fraction of the cost with a caravan that was way better for the kids. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The caravan was roomy and comfy, which was great. There were some minor issues like cupboard doors needing fixing, but nothing too major. We’d come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The site was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The outdoor pool was lovely and the secure entrance made us feel safe. The laundry was good value too and plenty of space for dog walks. Overall, a great spot for a break!

We found a cracking deal on this spacious family caravan in a lovely, green spot perfect for kids. The location made exploring Cornwall easy and enjoyable. The site was pretty peaceful in September, so the clubhouse was quiet in the evenings, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. Our little one even tried karaoke for the first time! Staff were friendly and the food was spot on. We’d definitely return if we get the chance!

We didn't expect it, but getting upgraded to a Watergate home was brilliant! Spacious, modern, perfect for our family of five. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay.

We recently stayed at this lovely site with a spacious family caravan and it was perfect for our little trip. The location is great for exploring Cornwall, with plenty of green space and activities for kids. In September, the site was quite peaceful, so the Clubhouse was pretty quiet in the evenings, but we still had a great time. Our 3-year-old even tried karaoke for the first time! Staff were super friendly and the food was spot on. Would definitely return!

It would've been really helpful if they had given us a list beforeh and of what was missing or removed because of Covid restrictions. Just a bit frustrating.

Outdoor pool is fantastic, it felt like we were abroad. All staff helpful and friendly. Short drive into Newquay.

Holiday was amazing. Great atmosphere and pool. Will definitely be returning. The park seemed to be mainly camping, with a few caravans, which we stayed in. Nice a clean and everyone is very friendly. Only thing I picked up on was, when checking in we received bare minimum information, was told to take photos of board if I wanted to know anything, would of preferred if the staff had knowledge or a paper copy of it so everyone else could look at it. Also, being jubilee week, we were not informed by reception on check of anything happening and nothing was in the board. So missed some of the party’s that happened. Entertainment staff was amazing with kids. Bar staff worked hard as well as take away shop, maybe need a few more members of staff in the summer. Amazing holiday and very dog friendly.
