We had a lovely couple of days exploring a stunning area. The park was well-kept and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Facilities were good too - really made our stay enjoyable. Definitely recommend to others looking for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed at this cosy chalet and really enjoyed our time there. It’s quite tucked away, which means it’s peaceful and perfect for a quiet break. The dishwasher was a lovely surprise and the en-suite was a nice touch. We did notice a drains issue in the bathroom and a missing lamp in one of the twin rooms, but overall, it was a lovely stay. The grey sofas were a bit stained, but that didn’t bother us too much. The walk down to Bucks Mill was stunning too!

Not terrible, but we probably won't return.

Honestly, we were a bit let down by the chalet overall. Privacy was a real issue since there were no blinds or nets and since they overlap with neighbours, it felt a bit intrusive. The bedside lights in the main bedroom were tucked inside the wardrobes, which left no space for hanging clothes properly. The bed was incredibly firm and the fitted bottom sheet kept slipping off every morning - a bit of a pain. The second bedroom had zero storage, so a family of four would struggle to find a spot for the kids’ clothes. The bathroom was pretty basic - no shelves or space for toiletries and no toilet roll holder either. The shower was quite small, too. The kitchen cupboards were all full of stuff, so we couldn’t even store snacks or food properly. And why was the living room lamp on the dining table? Would’ve made more sense on a shelf or a tall stand. Honestly, it could’ve been better!

The advert said 6 berths, but the settee is way too small, just a 2-seater.

We stayed at the chalet with four adults and two toddlers and it was pretty spacious. That said, it definitely needs some love - cobwebs everywhere and quite a few things could do with a good clean. It would also be helpful if they provided basics like washing up liquid, towels and dishwasher tablets. Still, overall, not a bad stay but could be better.

The chalet looked lovely and was quite modern, which we appreciated. However, the oven was pretty grimy and my husband had to scrub an oven tray before we could even use it. Slightly disappointing, really.

The beds were really comfy and the place was clean overall, but missing a baking sheet was frustrating. The sofas had stains and windows were filthy.

We stayed at this quiet spot, a bit off the beaten path and it was perfect for us. The chalet was surprisingly roomy, with bedrooms that didn’t feel cramped, even with five of us. Having en-suites was a real treat and the TVs in each room kept everyone happy-no disagreements over what to watch! The only downside was the lack of phone signal and pretty slow internet, even with the site’s Wi-Fi. Still, we enjoyed our stay overall.

The park itself is lovely, but it’d be helpful if visitors were told to bring their own tea towels and cleaning supplies - I had to go out and buy everything. The restaurant is quite pricey, though. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Prices are sky-high and the location feels pretty isolated from everything else.

We stayed at the Manor House and loved the setting, it’s really picturesque with the park nearby. The views are stunning, but we did notice some parts like the decking and furniture could use a bit of a refresh. The staff were mostly friendly, though there was a bit of a mix-up when we asked for a plain burger for our kid - they seemed unsure if they could do it. Overall, we had a lovely break and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Would recommend for a relaxing family trip!

Honestly, it’s a bit basic but okay overall. The bed was super comfy, which was a plus. However, there were loads of spider webs and spiders in every room, which was pretty gross. The freezer was dirty too, but I told reception I’d clean it myself since I had stuff to put in it. Apart from that, it was clean enough.

Honestly, for a place that sleeps six, it’s a bit awkward with only a sofa bed and two chairs. Not the most comfortable setup if everyone’s there.

The high-pitched buzzing in our main bedroom was odd at first, but we eventually got used to it, though we never pinpointed the source.

Overall, the caravan was pretty decent for the price, especially since we grabbed it on a special offer. It was spotless and the bed was really comfy, which was a bonus after long days out. The heating worked perfectly, so we stayed warm despite the chilly weather. However, it’s worth noting that the caravan was quite basic - nothing fancy, really. The curtains kept falling off the tracks every time we tried to close them, so we left them partly open to save ourselves the hassle. Also, no spatula was in the inventory, which was odd considering there was a frying pan, so we had to buy one ourselves. Still, for the price, it was alright, but I wouldn’t want to pay full whack for it.

We found a razor in the shower and a hair bobble on the radiator, which was a bit disappointing. Still, we just threw them away. Understandable how they could be missed, but cleanliness could be a bit better overall.

We found the caravan to be really clean and surprisingly spacious, which was great. The main bedroom had plenty of room, but we did feel the bed was a bit small for such a big space - a larger size would’ve been perfect. The double wardrobes were a bit unnecessary since there were two, but it didn’t ruin our stay. The en-suite was handy, especially having that extra toilet, but a mirror above the small sink would’ve been helpful. We also struggled a bit with no hooks on the back of doors for towels, which was a bit of a pain. A hanging rail near the entrance for coats would’ve been a good addition. Despite these niggles, we had a lovely holiday and are definitely keen to return!

My family Absolutely loved our holiday location was amazing and the views over the ocean ??

We stayed in an 8 berth, 3 bedroom caravan. It was immaculate when we arrived. Also, despite us arriving early we were able to access the caravan straight away which was really nice.
My only slight complaint (more of a feedback than complaint), is that a caravan which sleeps up to 8 people needs to have more kitchen utensils and crockery available! There were 7 of us and to cook pasta for dinner, the three small saucepans still weren't enough! Please consider equipping vans with larger capacity reflecting this!
The site is on a steep hill, however this WAS mentioned on the website when booking and did not negatively affect us, aside from giving us a bit of a workout!
Staff were all friendly especially the pool lifeguards who were really chatty and nice.
The swimming pools!!!! Oh the swimming pools!!! The outdoor pool was like being abroad (we were lucky with the weather). I can't recommend it enough.
A really nice park and we would definitely visit again and rave to our friends about it. Thank you for a lovely short break! Xx

Had a good week away at an affordable price. (out of school holidays).
DID NOT EAT IN THE RESTAURANT. SCORES TO REFLECT THIS.

Lovely location. Clean Lodge. Quiet, well kept grounds.

Single mum 4 kids aged 10 months to 12 years we were luckily enough to be close to the main area and the pool and shop wasn't too far away the park was fab my kids absolutely loved it. The area for the show was pretty small but again kids seemed to enjoy it. Staff were helpful when I needed them and very patient in the arcades waiting for my very indecisive kids choosing their winnings

the lodge was lovely lots of space. helpful that there was a washing machine and dishwasher with 2 small children. lots of space for them to play. wish there had of been a gate on the veranda like some of the others had as our littlest couldn't go outside as he would have fallen down the steps but it was fine.
