Really enjoyed our stay here! The cottage was cosy and well located, perfect for escaping the busy city. The owners were friendly without being overbearing, which we appreciated. The hot tub was a lovely touch, making evenings extra special. Overall, just the right balance of comfort and privacy. Would definitely come back!

We spent a week here in July with our two mini dachshunds and honestly, we all had a great time. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was such a nice touch, especially during those scorching days - the cool water was so refreshing! The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home. It was lovely to see their dogs being taken to the fields every day; it added a nice touch of normality. Being close to Stansted and on the flight path was pretty cool too - we enjoyed watching the planes land. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage, tucked away on a working farm but surprisingly private. Robert and Sharon are such lovely hosts, making us feel really welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and the bed was super comfy. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great eateries like The Star and The Maypole. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this place, nestled in such a peaceful, private spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but you still feel tucked away from everything. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of cycling - absolute bliss! One thing though, the cottage's right under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us much after a while, but if you’re sensitive to noise, just a heads up. Overall, a great find!

We had an amazing time at Camarthen Bay. The location is stunning and there’s always something to do for the children, I would always pre book activities in advance to ensure we got a place. The staff are always helpful and friendly and there is always someone around to help. The beach is a stone throw away and so beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic holiday. I absolutely adore Wales and thought I would stay in a chalet in camathan bay this time. I loved every minute of it. At the end of the day if you love being remote and away from the rat race. This is the place to stay. Great for the children. A stones throw away from the beach. Yes you are on country roads and unfortunately there is a lot of that in Wales and that is what I love. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Cosy home from home chalets.

Great site. Only downside is the proximity of the train line, which to be fair after the first couple of nights even the 25 oil tankers and diesel engine didn't wake us.
