A fantastic holiday park, loads for the kids to do even if it rains. We will be back next year.

The caravan we stayed in needed a bit of TLC - the table top was peeling back off the table. There were a few holes in the walls where the door had obviously been pushed back too far and the handle had gone through the wall. But it was comfortable, big enough for us. The only issue was ants coming in but that was rectified by the staff once we let them know.

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! The location is perfect - really peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by gorgeous farml and. We loved seeing the horses and the owners were super friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend it if you're after a quiet getaway, it’s fantastic!

Had an amazing week! The weather was perfect, lots to see and do. We loved it so much, we're returning soon! x

We had a lovely stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us warm during that cold rainy December day. The bath was just perfect and the shower was nice and spacious. Being on a flight path didn’t bother us at all-that’s not a big deal. Perfect spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, since it’s quite remote. Really pretty and well-renovated place. Thanks a lot!

We stayed at a lovely cottage run by truly welcoming hosts. They were so helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place itself is adorable, with charming half-timbered decor and a nice, powerful shower. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it perfect for relaxing. Parking right outside was a real bonus and the location is ideal for peaceful walks in the fields or exploring Thaxted’s historic streets. Would definitely return!

We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and were really impressed. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, which was lovely. The building itself is beautifully restored, blending history with comfort perfectly. The location in Essex is perfect for exploring Thaxted and nearby villages-so many charming spots to wander around and soak up the history. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

The welcome pack was a nice touch, packed with useful info and menus, which made settling in easy. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and they loved exploring it. Stayed for a weekend with my girls. Accommodation was clean through out, beds comfy, but could of done with a thinner quilt. Location perfect for beaches and Corfe. Will certainly be back

We had a lovely time! The only reason it’s a 9 not a 10 is because you’re limited to time in the pool. We had planned for a pool day as if abroad and we got an hour. Otherwise the facilities and park were lovely.

Had a great time at Sandford Holiday Park. We were there during the heat wave, so the outdoor pool was much needed and used! It is a lovely site, situated amongst trees and pines. Nice walks up through the woods and back even on the hottest days. The nearest beach was about a 10 minute drive away at Hamworthy, but it is worth it when you get there. A very quiet stretch of beach with just a few paddle-boarders in the water. Actually went for a swim in the sea (first time in about 30 years!). We had a really lovely holiday and I would give the site 10 out of 10.

The Staff made this holiday for us they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them they went up and beyond to help.Even to the staff on the ticket shop who was so nice to the children when they cashed the weeks tickets and asked them what colours they wanted.Every night the security staff would ask if we were o.k and chatted as we went into the show bar.When the children did activities they were encouraged which brought out the best in them.So can I thank all the staff at Sandford for a very happy and relaxing holiday.We certainly will come back.
