The owners were super friendly and really went the extra mile when the power went out because of the storm. The cottage was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we enjoyed the hot tub too!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The owners were super friendly and really thoughtful, making us feel right at home. The place itself is a real charmer, with its traditional timber-framed look and a cosy vibe. The shower was fantastic and the bed was comfy enough to have a proper lie-in. Parking right outside was a bonus and the area around is perfect for walks. Overall, a charming spot, spotlessly clean and well heated. We’d definitely come back!

We just got back from a fantastic four-night stay at this charming cottage. The owners were really friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which was great. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and we enjoyed using the BBQ one evening. The hot tub was the real highlight! We’d definitely come back and already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely break!

We had such a lovely stay at this place! The setting is truly beautiful and super private, which we really appreciated. The owners are genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but they respect your space. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling. One thing to note, the cottage is directly under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didn’t ruin our trip at all. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and we definitely plan to return. Our dogs were so happy - the underfloor heating was a hit and they had a blast in the garden. Luna even came home with a strained tail, but the vet says she was wagging it way too much. We stayed at this place recently and honestly, it’s really well kitted out and super cosy, perfect for a chilly December day. The bath was lovely and the shower was a good size - just what we needed. The house is on a flight path, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. Perfect spot for dogs scared of fireworks since it’s so remote. Really lovely place, thanks so much!

The welcome pack was thoughtful, with all the info and menus we needed, which was a bonus. The owners, Sharon and Rob, were quick to respond if we had any questions.
