A nice stay in a different lodge

Only issues we had involved the cleanliness of the lodge with half eaten packet of nuts down the side of the sofa and a dining plate that was covered in paint., also outside lights not working and the bathroom door handle came away from the door.The information booklet states that the lodge was throughly cleaned and inspected, quite clearly it was not Apologies from reception but suspect these were not sincere.

Lovely lodge, spotlessly clean inside with everything you need for a self catering stay aswell as a welcome pack on arrival.

Bed was shaggy can do with better mattress. Inside the cottage cleaning was good but outside around the hottub and balcony was full of spider webs

Couldn’t fault the lodge great value for money

Another fantastic holiday been many times and already booked up again. Can be a relaxing holiday or as outgoing as you like. All staff friendly and helpful. Clubhouse great and reasonably priced.

Only thing was the outside off cabin needs a good clean

Great lodge setting overlooking the lake. Very comfortable beds and excellent shower. Skirting under the dishwasher kept falling off. And the 2nd bedroom had an unfortunate smell of lake/ duck poo! But great overall.

This was our second visit to Dacre Lakeside and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The lodge was clean, spacious and well equipped with stunning views over the lake. The grounds are well maintained and the restaurant serves delicious food. Hopefully we will be able to return soon.

Great mid week break, lodge specious & really clean. Lodge was on the pond so ideal for my husband to fish. Reception bar lovely, friendly helpful staff & very reasonably priced. Looking to return.

Inside lodge spotless but outside decking needs to be cleaner. I know you can’t prevent cobwebs but there was a LOT that have been there for a LONG time!!!

This was an excellent 6 berth lodge with great facilities and features. On the downside, the fridge is a little small but on very positive notes, the hot tub and the outside space are wonderful and secluded and the bedrooms and ensuites are lovely.

We really loved this place the lodge was spotless and had everything you need you get a bathrobe and slippers fluffy towels the bedrooms. were a good size both onsuite one had a walk in shower and the other had a bath the hot tub was great big enough for four looking over the lake .The camp was really well kept with things to do . the restaurant Bernie's was very expensive and the food was only ok small portions the staff were lovely and polite always smiling .I wanted to fish for carp but the lake was carpeted in weed not a blank spot anywhere they could do more to control the weed it's impossible to fish as it is . This hasn't put us of we would definitely return loved every minute of it thanks

Garden Lodge 10, beautifully done out, clean and we'll equipped. In private garden which we also loved as we spent time around outside table and in the hot tub. Lovely.

Relaxing but closer enough to head out to the villages or the seaside town hornsea we enjoyed everyday we was there the hot tub was lovely which we used alot

Another great stay at Dacre always look forward to going. Will return again shortly.

We stayed in garden lodge 10 and it is beautiful, this is our 4th time staying at Dacre Lakeside and it never disappoints. We have already booked for Christmas.

Chill place

Nicely laid out park with good facilities & well located

Lovely break away. Reception staff were very welcoming when we arrived. Ideal for couples and families. There is activities around the park. We don't normally do holiday parks but smaller sites but the cabins are quite private and the site is quiet no loud music so we were able to chill and watch the wildlife.We were in a 1 bedroom lodge Dragonfly watersedge. Not ready to see dragon flies but saw a beautiful Kingfisher on a few occasions. Need to get up a bit early.The lodge had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Some people might comment on the webs outside on the verandah but it is outside and wildlife and never impacted on our stay. Bed was very comfortable as this is the main thing for us. Had a good night's sleep. Take duck food there are some around.We are booked again for June to stay in Water Reed Watersedge 3 bedroom for a family break. Hope it is just as good this will be our 3rd stay at Dacre Lakeside Park.

I have never stayed with Hoseasons before but we had a brilliant time. The holiday park was lovely the staff were really friendly and helpful the lodge was well equipped and comfortable we would definitely go again

We had a fab holiday. Kids enjoyed the ice cream shop & cafe Prices of activities were really good so we took advantage and especially enjoyed the golf & footgolf. Lovely Italian restaurant on site too - food was gorgeous!

Lovely relaxing holiday with lots to do on site. Friendly staff, the place has a laidback feel about it. Nice little village opposite with 2 pubs a Chinese, chip shop convenience store and newsagents.

Fantastic place to stay the staff are lovely. There are many things to do that they offer. I stayed in a shepherds hut it was fantastical. The only tiny downfall is there was nothing in the room to kill the flies or nothing to stop them from coming in and with having the door open and it being warm there was a lot coming in

Lovely lodge with a great hot-tub. Nice vibe on the site with beautiful views. The lodge overall wasn’t overly clean, with the veranda covered in cobwebs but as a group we could see past that. Overall great place.

This was a lovely little place to have a break away. The Shepherd's Hut was lovely and really well appointed. The only gripe we really had was that the panel on the side of the bed was really uncomfortable when getting in and out of bed. The bed itself was lovely and comfortable. One suggestion we made at Reception was that part of the selling point of his break was the hottub (which was fab, by the way), the only issue was accessibility insofar as that the entrance steps to get into the hot tub were no good for my fiancee who had a knee replacement about six months ago, so sadly she couldn't use it which was a real shame. Perhaps some sort of steps and handrail up to the side of the hot tub could be adapted. Other than that we would definitely go back, but probably opt for a lodge next time.

Great week at dacre. Lodge was spotless inside & hot tub checked daily. Facilities on site were really good aswell. Great location close to beaches & local towns.

This place is amazing by far the best place we have stayed. Very peaceful, we went early July before the kids finished school. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of ducks that greet you when you open your cabin door, and lots of rabbits too. Lovely restaurant,bar and adventure golf. We had 3 lovely days kayaking on the lake from our own jetty which is something we have been searching for for ages. Already booked for next year along with my son and his girlfriend. Would highly recommend well worth the money.

Park was very pleasant, though sitting on veranda was spoilt by noise from nearby main road. Lodge was very comfortable but in need of updating. However a very enjoyable week enhanced by good weather.
