Comfortable stay with a few minor quirks.

The place was full of modern furniture, which looked great. Honestly, the sofas could be a bit larger though. Still, super comfy!

We had a lovely time overall. The walks around the area were absolutely stunning, really enjoyed exploring them. Trying to find a shop without a car was quite the challenge, but we managed in the end! The only real downside was the state of the lodge when we arrived - the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept or hoovered, with hair and dirt all over, even on the bed. We took matters into our own hands and cleaned it up. There was also a paw print on the white bedding, though not from our dog and the bath plug was already broken, so we had to get creative with baths. The wardrobe door handle wasn’t screwed in either. Despite these minor issues, we’d definitely return. The kitchen was stunning and the view of the cows was just gorgeous. Overall, we loved it and would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ian was fantastic-so welcoming and attentive. He even left us some complimentary eggs and milk in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The views are stunning, making it the ideal spot to escape the stress of everyday life. We’re already planning our return-can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in the lodge for three weeks while waiting for our house to go through. It’s an ideal spot for a longer stay - super peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loved the enclosed balcony, she was safe and happy. We did wish for a mid-stay sheet change, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Lovely place!

We had a lovely short stay here. The site was spotless and really well-organised, making it a perfect spot for day trips. We’d definitely recommend it to friends. The only thing we’d suggest is adding some bins for dog waste - it’s quite a walk to find one. Still, we’re hoping to come back soon!

We recently stayed at Ribble Valley View and honestly, it was just what we needed. The Willow lodge was really cosy and had stunning views of the countryside - perfect for a peaceful escape. The place was spotless and stocked with everything we could think of, from towels to Wi-Fi and the owners even left us fresh eggs and milk from their own farm, which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed exploring the nearby villages; they’re charming and worth a visit. Plus, a day trip to Blackpool and the zoo was a bonus, just about 40 minutes away. We’re really glad we chose to stay here - it was a great mix of relaxation and a bit of adventure. We’d definitely come back again. Overall, a fantastic short break and highly recommended if you’re after a quiet getaway with nice surroundings.

We had a lovely three-day stay with my 82-year-old mum. Arriving on Friday the 13th under a full moon, we stayed in a cosy cabin backing onto woods - quite atmospheric! The place was spotless, really comfy and had everything we needed. The owners provided helpful tips on local eateries and sights. Would definitely recommend!

Date of stay: 19th August 2019
Really enjoyed the stay, but we could've used extra crockery and cutlery. Would return!
Emma, Leeds
Date of stay: 12th August 2019
Overall, we had a lovely stay. The place was really nice and comfy, perfect for relaxing. The owner was friendly and quick to respond when we had questions. The only hiccup was the description mentioning a DVD player, which wasn’t there anymore. They’d removed it because the smart TV has Netflix, Amazon Prime and Freeview, but sadly, our broadb and wasn’t strong enough to stream anything other than Freeview, so we couldn’t watch our usual films in the evening. We tried restarting the router as suggested, but it didn’t help. It would be good if the listing was updated to reflect the current amenities. We might have brought our own DVD player if we’d known. Still, apart from that, it was a lovely break!
Rebecca
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ribble Valley. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with plenty of walks and trails to take advantage of. The accommodation was a very surprising treat with a TV and ensuite to the master bedroom and extremely comfortable beds. Everything was exceptionally clean and the lodge felt spacious with plenty of storage and all the appliances and equipment you could need. We definitely recommend Ribble Valley for families.
Carol
We had a fantastic four night break. The site is quiet and small but perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lodge was lovely and clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. Information about entry to the site was clear and we had no need to contact owners but felt the information was there if we had needed to. Having never been to the Ribble Valley before the site was a perfect base to explore. We took a lovely walk from the park down to the river and along to Marle wood. We also enjoyed a short visit to Ribchester Roman museum and bath house ruins. It was also a good base from which to visit Pendle hill. Myself and two young teens enjoyed really enjoyed the break and hope to return soon to explore more of the area. I would say that it is a quiet site with some lovely views and perfect if that is what you are looking for. Also, the pub at the entrance to the site is certainly worth a visit.
Maria
It's our first visit to Ribble Valley View and it certainly doesn't disappoint. The scenery was amazing, the weather was lovely and the lodge we stopped in (Willow) was like a home from home with everything you needed to make our holiday enjoyable. You do need a car to get out and about but not a problem as most places were only a short drive away. Most definitely would come back
Ray
We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. Everything was on point. All rooms very clean and comfortable. The eggs and milk on arrival were well received. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
Sheila
Wonderful quiet setting. Lodge had everything you would need with a bonus of half dozen eggs and bottle of milk, sat waiting in the fridge on arrival. Clean inside, with outside table and chairs another plus point. Would visit again.
Robert
I booked this for a weekend away for my Wife’s birthday. It was absolutely perfect. The location of the site, the fantastic pub at the end of the road, the scenery and the unbelievable food in the surrounding area. I’ve already booked for birthday celebrations next year
Steven
The 2 of us stayed in the beech Lodge, and really enjoyed our stay. The lodge itself very high spec when compared to a standard caravan. (Full size fridge freezer, and dishwasher for example) For it to get a 10, the decking does need a bit of TLC, and with it being closest to the pub at the end of the road (100 yards which can be a blessing also) we did find a bit noisy, but that will partly be down to it being the week of the heatwave so everyone was outside. All in all a great place, with plenty to only a short drive away, and we would go back.
Anita
Beautiful location & lovely lodge, only thing missing is a mirror/dressing table in main bedroom, as a female there was nowhere to sit to dry/do hair but otherwise absolutely fantastic place
Rita
Very comfortable lodge amid lovely .scenery.
